Moderni hirsimökki minuutin päässä Rocky Mountainin kansallispuistosta ja Grand Lake, Co.

Kotimme sijaitsee Columbine Lake -yhteisössä, joka on vain 2 km: n päässä Rocky Mountainin kansallispuistosta ja kilometrin päässä historiallisesta Grand Lake -kaupungista. Tämä moderni mökki on sisustettu kauniisti ja nukkuu 12 mukavasti. Siellä on suuri kansi ruokailla ulkona ja viihdyttävällä. Suuri huoneessa on ihana kaasu, kivi takka, joka tarjoaa täydellisen määrän lämpöä kylmällä talviyöllä.

Tekemistä: vaellus RMNP: ssä, hiihto Granby Ranchilla tai Winter Parkissa, lumikenkäily, melonta tai melonta-lennolle pääsy, vaahtokarkkien paistaminen tulen ympärillä, kalastus, nauttiminen sekä raikkaasta vuoristoilmasta että 300 päivän auringonpaisteesta. Ostokset ja ruokailu illallisella Grand Lakessa on nopea 5 minuutin ajomatka.

Annual Grand Lake Visit

Comfortable cabin and close to everything!

Our family enjoyed the cabin. It was very comfortable and had everything a person could possibly need. It was beautifully decorated and the beds were super comfy! We would definitely come back and stay again!

Hidden Gem- Grand Lake!

Grand Lake was beautiful, quiet and quaint. Our home was in a perfect location just minutes from the downtown area. Two families stayed in the house and it was perfect space. We will be back again!

Great stay!

We had a fantastic stay in your cabin. it was perfect for our 2 families to enjoy the weekend together. There was plenty of room for the kids to have their space to play and adults to hang out. We loved the big cozy fireplace. A beautiful location inside and out. Thank you!

Beautiful home with everything you need and close to the national park and town.

The house was very comfortable with just about anything you need, including wash machine and dryer. There was plenty of room for 12 people and we enjoyed the deck with plenty of seating outside. Great views and so quiet, plus we saw wild life such as a fox, moose, deer and a variety of birds. We also enjoyed how close we were to grand lake and the national forest.

Great for a family

We stayed in this cabin with our three kids (6, 3 and 5 months) and a couple and their two kids (6 and 3). It was perfect for 4 adults and 5 small kids. Lots of beds and baths. Kitchen was well stocked. Had baby supplies (high chairs, pack n play) and toys. Great location in a private community near grand lake and the entrance of RMNP.

Columbine 2021

We had a great week at this beautiful home. It was set up perfectly for our extended family. Bedrooms and baths on each of the 3 floors allowed my husband and I, our son and daughter, and their families ample space to function normally for a week in the same home. The hosts were attentive and quick to reply to any questions. The house was super clean and well stocked with essential s. We would love to stay again.

The Cornish family cabin is the perfect fit for our family!

This was our 3rd annual stay at the Cornish cabin. We have 8 in our group including 3 young children. The little ones can sleep downstairs with their parents. There’s a TV down there, so the early risers can stay down there until the rest of us get up! 😬 The cabin is so comfy for the family to be all together in the eating/lounging area. We love the surrounding area with the lakes, hiking trails, and other activities near by. Highly recommend!

A Relaxing Stay For our Family

This was our second visit to this cabin near Grand Lake; previously we were here during the summer months. We truly enjoyed seeing the snowy peaks and all of the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. Our stay was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The cabin is well-equipped and was comfortable for our large group of family and friends. There were multiple living spaces that allowed us to play games, cook together, and just hang out and relax. Everything we needed was already at the property and the owners were communicative and knowledgeable. We always enjoy getting away from the city and this was a great place for us to reconnect as a family!

this is simply an outstanding retreat in the beautiful Rocky Mountains

The house is more beautiful than the pictures describe. The rooms are large, extremely clean and the atmosphere is all you expect in the Rocky Mountains. Most people go to Estes Park side, but I suggest going to Grand Lake. Smaller crowds, and the town is friendly and fun. The house is only 3 miles from the south entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, and offers easy access to Vail, Aspen, Etc. Every morning we heard the elk trumpeting and saw the mule deer clashing heads. An added bonus is an excellent golf course less the a mile away bordering the mountains.

The cabin was lovely, clean, well stocked with kitchen gear, and very close to the clubhouse where our daughter was married. The owners were flexible with our check-in time since we had a rehearsal dinner the day we arrived, which was extremely appreciated. Everyone was comfortable, including my parents who are in their late eighties. They complimented me on finding such a nice place for us to stay. We made some new family memories playing games at the very large (and pretty) table in the kitchen. Very highly recommended!!! :-)

Great for a family getaway

Cabin was cute and well stocked. Cleanliness could be better. One bed had a blood stain on the blanket, and there was mouse droppings under the kitchen sink when we were taking out the trash. Overall things were fine though.

Family vacation

The cabin was great, listed as the pictures we sure had a great time we did lots of cooking during our stay, the neighborhood is very calm and the people are very nice. Overall a great place to stay I definitely loved the balcony backyard view surrounded with mountains.

Family Time, Sledding, Skiing, Views

Beautiful home allowed for comfortable and ambitious cooking, plenty of comfortable spaces, beautiful views, comfy beds and pillows and plenty of room to spread out! We loved that the TV was in a separate space from the main social space so we could focus on social interactions and family time! And when we chose to go watch a movie, we had a wonderful separate space for it. We went for walks every day and enjoyed the beautiful views in every direction. Sitting in the living room and doing puzzles was even a joy since it was so spacious and the views were spectactular from every window. The hosts went out of their way to make sure every detail was taken care of and thought of. We had everything we wanted to serve a nice Thanksgiving meal with extended family. Lots of kitchen supplies and spices made for cooking to be an ease--very much appreciated for those of us who like a complete kitchen! Skiing was not too far away and sledding in nearby local hills was a blast. We loved it and can't wait to come back and enjoy a different season. We had elementary, middle school and high school aged kids plus grandparents. We all enjoyed a lovely time. I highly recommend this space for families. Great for different families or friends to share as well due to the different spaces in the home to spread out. Abundant space inside and out! Loved it! We will be back!

The Cornish Family resides in Denver, Colorado and loves playing in the Rocky Mountains. Because our kids are grown, we can't all be together all the time, so we've decided to rent our our home. This is the first mountain home we have owned as a family, but have enjoyed renting in the past. We have some of our best family memories in mountain cabins.

We love the fact that this home has enough room for our whole family to be together. We also enjoy all of the recreational opportunities that are so close by as well as the dining and entertainment in Grand Lake.

You will love being able to host family and friends for a nice dinner at the dinning table that seats 10+. You will also love the rustic feel of the full log construction. There is internet and cable TV available on the property. The loft boasts a second living area perfect for watching movies!
