Best Ever Oceanfront Experience

This was the best ever stay for me with VRBO. The property is every bit as spectacular as described on the app. At high tide you are literally 10 feet from the ocean and facing West for great sunsets year round. Conveniently located walking distance to the pier and the harbor and close to all necessities and tourist spots in Oceanside. The owners are super nice and very quick to respond to any requests. They even came to meet me upon arrival to get me situated. They pay attention to every detail that can make your vacation the bestand are a phone call away if you need anything additional.

Oceanside = Heavenside

We usually stay at Mission Beach, but wanted something different this time. I brought my parents and my father really loved being able to sit on balcony and watch the ocean and people. My husband loved the waves better than Mission. I loved being able to share it all with them. The grounds are very much like Hawaii - beautiful! I especially loved feeding the Koi fish each morning before I worked out at the gym, and walked on the beach, taking pictures, picking up shells and stones.

Wonderful!

My family thoroughly enjoyed this property! The owner was very responsive to all of our needs and questions. The master bed was perfect- comfortable bedding and mattress. The bunk bed and full bed were great for my boys. The kitchen and closets were well-stocked. We really enjoyed the location - and the ocean front view was amazing. Highly recommend! Other notes - workout room, pool, and hot tub were also great! Thank you for a lovely vacation, Tami!

Great on-beach experience

Tami and Alton are wonderful owners and were always available for everything we needed. We enjoyed watching the surfers every day and our daily walks on the beach. Also liked having a workout facility on campus. We didn't use the pool, but did use the lagoon hot tub which is very unique. Great place for families with children on spring break.

Greatest place to stay!

This was our second time at this cottage and again, we had the greatest time. Tami and Alton are the best hosts - always accommodating, always helpful, honest, and always stay in communication with you. The cottage is well maintained and stocked with everything you need and the views are breath taking! Full view of ocean and wonderful sounds of the waves to fall asleep to. God willing, we hope to return again.

Wonderful space for family.

Simply excellent! Everything was perfect for our family of six. View from the porch is unrivaled, and the location is super-convenient for day trips. Close to a great selection of restaurants as well. Communication was excellent and the check-in was painless. Even the parking space is as close to the unit as is possible, literally 1 minute out the door. Couldn't have asked for a better space. We are already planning our return!

Pinnacle of Beach Vacations

What can I say that hasn’t already been said? It bears repeating; pristine beach, superb accommodations, “above and beyond” communication from “chief hostess”, Tami, and diverse amenities appealing to all our needs, i.e., restaurants, farmers’ markets, outdoor entertainment, tranquil and private beaches. Great location and accommodations.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay. Great owners, very nice and accommodating. Unit has great views, access to the beach, on-site beach equipment (chairs, umbrella, body boards), and all of the kitchen appliances needed. Price was very reasonable, we will be visiting again soon. Thanks Tami!

Beach Vacation

Great five days at the beach cottage. The location is perfect with the sand just a few feet away. The beach is clean, soft sand, and wide. The property was pretty much as described with some natural wear and tear that adds to the charm. Didn’t really use the property amenities so can’t comment on those. I can’t say enough how great the beach and location of this cottage is. Tami was very responsive and made check in and check out very easy. Five star vacation all the way.

This unit was great. We loved its ease of access to the beach, which is why we've already booked it for next year. We've stayed in a more than a dozen NCV condos, and this was one of the cleanest and best maintained ones we've seen. We had a couple of little kids with us, so we had to rearrange some of the nick-knacks so they didn't get broken, but other than that, we were perfectly comfortable during our week out of the Arizona heat.

Ocean front vacations

We have an amazing time in this beautiful condo ocean front. Tami was always available and the communication was really good. The place have everything you need to make your staying confortable. We definitely recommend this place! 5 stars!!

Super relaxing vacation

The second you walk through the front door, you're met by a breathtaking view of the pacific ocean through windows that span across the entire living room. The ocean is so close. It was weird, being on the second floor, you'd think it would feel a little further away, but I always got the impression that the waves were going to come right up to the balcony. It really felt like we were on a very stable house boat. We were a family of four, and the house was more than enough room for us. We loved having two bathrooms to get ready and just for convenience. My two kids liked sleeping in separate spaces, so one took a bedroom and the other made use of the living room. There are multiple pieces of furniture that work great as beds. We ate out a lot at the nearby restaurants, but also stayed in a couple of nights and the kitchen had everything we needed. Probably one of our best meals came from the nearby Frazer Farm's grocery store. They had marinated kabobs that we took back to the complex and grilled. Oh my goodness, that was so good. Looking back, we probably wound have done that multiple nights. We loved the condo complex, super nice pool, grill area, and koi pond. The beach is just a minute walk away - either to the north or south of the complex. Right in front of the condo the beach is about 20-50 yards long during lower tide, so you could prop yourself there so long as you're ready to move in a few hours. But honestly, we were happy watching the ocean from the condo - it was so beautiful. The waves are pretty loud with the door or window open. We loved falling asleep to it. Its funny, on our first night back from the trip it was hard to sleep at home, and I wonder if we just got used to hearing the ocean. Tami, the host, was awesome. She met us at the gate, walked us to the door, and was always available via text for any questions. She checked in with us, gave us great suggestions on things to do, and was great to work with.

Incredible vacation

This was the best place to stay if you want comfort, quite, amenities, fun and everything at your fingertips. My family and I love it. We will definitely come again. Oh and Tami went above and beyond to make everything wonderful.

Lovely Beach Front Condo

Terrific views, great beach location, close to harbor and pier! We loved our stay and will be back again. The condo is very clean and adorably decorated. Tami is terrific and very responsive. Thank you!

Amazing Oceanside Family Getaway!!

Tami’s place is immaculate & has everything you need for a wonderful beachfront vacation! Hearing the waves from the bedroom window, enjoying coffee on the front deck, walking across the street to the harbor, amazing walks on the beach( and sandcastles) just out your front door, beautiful sunsets right in front of you. Just Spectacular!!! We can’t wait to come back!! We can’t thank Tami enough for sharing her cottage with us~♥️

Beautiful & Comfortable

Everything about this stay was simply perfect. Ultra-responsive owners, ease of check-in/check-out. And one of the best beach properties I’ve ever stayed at!!! Views and sounds are gorgeous, the property is well designed and decorated. If the timing were better...we would have stayed for weeks!!!

Perfect stay

Property was so dreamy.... we have stayed at some beautiful beach front homes but this one exceeded our expectations. Tami was amazing to communicate with, was flexible, and had literally poured a lot of a love and attention into making this a perfect stay for us. As the week went by we realized how she literally had that place so stocked for any scenario we might come across. My husband was impressed with the book selection in the masterbedroom and I appreciated the gorgeous deck and comfy chairs I was able to relax in silence on, drinking my coffee and walking and listening to the waves crash, every morning at 5am while my family slept in. Highly recommended

Wonderful Stay

We had a great time here! The place is exactly as advertised, very clean and fully stocked. We’ve staying in a lot of vacation rentals, but this one is at the top of the list. The only negative was that we had to leave. Can’t wait to return.......

🦀 We are Alton, Tami and Boys: Clay, Cole, Chase & Cade. Alton is a general contractor. I (Tami), Clay, and Chase are all court reporters. Cole is finishing up his master's in science degree. (UPDATE: HE GOT IT! He is now a college professor.) Our youngest, Cade, is now 21. He keeps us laughing with his witty self.

The profile picture is only part of our family. Alton is lower left, our son Cade is upper left, our friend Captain Larry, who we love going out on the water with, and our son Chase is on the right.

We are so excited to share our treasured past guests, many who have become our dear friends, and our future guests our amazing oceanfront cottage with a pier a block away AND a harbor right next day, all wrapped into one amazing city, Oceanside! If you have not been to Oceanside lately, you are missing out!

We still have our lovely ocean-view condo in Dana Point available to rent. It is at the beautiful Strands Beach.

You are going to LOVE our oceanfront cottage!! Our goal has always been to leave our guests with the feeling that they don't know how they are going to be able to wait another year to visit us again. By reading our reviews, you will see that we are achieving our goal.

GORGEOUS BEACHFRONT, UPSTAIRS END UNIT with extra south-facing windows, which makes our cottage extremely bright and cheery. It is just a magical cottage.

There are only a couple upstairs beachfront end units. This Oceanfront Cottage is SO special. Arguably the nicest location/unit in the complex;

It is situated directly in the middle of the pier, longest pier in So. California, and a quaint harbor with amazing restaurants to enjoy. Alton and I had lunch at the harbor the first day we spent looking for property close to the harbor. As we sat out looking over the harbor and after enjoying a wonderful day in Oceanside, we could not get smiles off of our faces. We knew we had found a vacation destination to share which would leave our wonderful guests leaving not knowing how they could make it another year before returning. This is IT!! We love the weather, the smells, the colors, and that priceless feeling of feet in the sand.
