Everything about this stay was simply perfect. Ultra-responsive owners, ease of check-in/check-out. And one of the best beach properties I’ve ever stayed at!!! Views and sounds are gorgeous, the property is well designed and decorated. If the timing were better...we would have stayed for weeks!!!

Awesome Oceanfront location

Sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean was the best morning experience. This is a truly fantastic location and Tami is the perfect host. Tami was there to meet us when we arrived, which was so appreciated after a long drive. The cottage exceeded expectations and the beds were super comfortable. We will absolutely be back.

Amazing Oceanside Family Getaway!!

Tami’s place is immaculate & has everything you need for a wonderful beachfront vacation! Hearing the waves from the bedroom window, enjoying coffee on the front deck, walking across the street to the harbor, amazing walks on the beach( and sandcastles) just out your front door, beautiful sunsets right in front of you. Making memories at the beach

Our family stayed at Tami's beach cottage for our family vacation and it was precious. We made memories that will last a lifetime. Being right on the beach makes beach days a breeze - easy access for lunch and bathroom breaks - and the balcony at night for mom and dad to sit out and enjoy after the kids go to bed. The sound of the ocean is ever present and we slept like rocks in the master overlooking the beach. Five stars from this family!

Best Ever Oceanfront Experience

This was the best ever stay for me with VRBO. The property is every bit as spectacular as described on the app. At high tide you are literally 10 feet from the ocean and facing West for great sunsets year round. Conveniently located walking distance to the pier and the harbor and close to all necessities and tourist spots in Oceanside. The owners are super nice and very quick to respond to any requests. They even came to meet me upon arrival to get me situated. They pay attention to every detail that can make your vacation the bestand are a phone call away if you need anything additional.

Exquisite Beachfront Cottage

Absolutely one of the best family vacation getaways. Our family of 4 (5 year old and 19mo old boys) and my parents enjoyed a wonderful 5 days/4 nights in your lovely oceanside condo. The cottage was so warm and relaxing. I loved sitting on the balcony each morning with a cup of coffee watching the waves and surfers. Everything that was promised was a fact and then some. Even the condo community was perfect for kids with the pool, library, game room and putting green. Thank you so much Tami and Alton for everything. Your welcome basket was just that, a welcomed warm surprise and very appreciative. Looking forward to our return.

Perfection!!

I've stayed in many VRBO properties and this is as good as it gets! Starting with the hosts' excellent communication, moving on to the amazing location on the ocean where I could watch my teens play in the water directly ahead and enjoy the panoramic view for hours, the spectacular North Coast Village setting (you feel like you might be in Hawaii in there, it's so lush) and the immaculately kept and phenomenally well-equipped unit, we had just a terrific, relaxing and enjoyable stay. Must add that the Master bedroom is sleeping heaven - sound of the ocean outside the window and an excellent comfy bed - we slept like logs - a big bonus!! Best location in Oceanside, in my opinion. Can't go wrong!!

Awesome Beach Front Condo

Awesome location. Perfect host. Tami even had a cake waiting for us when we arrived which saved my daughter from having a huge melt down cause she was hungry from traveling. Haha. Super comfy master bed. Made me excited to go to bed every night. Kids room is awesome too. This condo is seriously fully stocked with everything you could need. I forgot sunscreen, and sure enough, there was some in the kids bathroom. Great pool area/hot tub but also a 2 min walk to the beach. Everything was awesome!

Charming Condo by the sea

We spent 5 nights here after a busy 10 days of touring in Nevada and Arizona, so it was lovely to spend our last few days in the USA in this wonderful condo. Tami kindly met us on arrival and there was a welcome basket awaiting us inside, which was a lovely touch. The condo was exactly as shown in the pictures and exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Our teenagers took full advantage of the boogie boards and enjoyed time on the waves, they also played mini golf and table tennis every day! We all enjoyed the swimming pool as well, but perhaps the best part was watching the surfers from the balcony or simply hearing the sound of the sea in the background. A very well stocked condo with all you could need during your stay - highly recommended!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. It far exceeded our expectations! By far the cleanest cutest home we have stayed at through a vacation rental site. The kitchen was fully equipped and even included a welcome cake in the fridge! The view and location does not get any better. We walked to the harbor for dinner where there are a lot of restaurant options. Coffee on the balcony in the mornings overlooking the ocean was perfect. And if the home itself was not enough the property is perfect for families with a pool and hot tub, pool table, putting green and koi fish. Tami, the owner, was amazing and readily available if I had a question. We will definitely be back!! Thank you Tami!!!!!!

Great Condo on the Beach

We spent 3 days at Tami's Oceanside condo and loved it. It has a great view of the beach and ocean - we enjoyed watching the surfers every morning. We also spent an afternoon on the balcony watching a sea lion fishing and saw a whale spout a few times one afternoon. The condo is in a very nice complex that is close (walking distance) to a marina with restaurants, shops, and Sea Lion Island (which is a group of sea lions that lay around and seem to like to do a lot of sleeping combined with wrestling and bickering at a each other - they were entertaining enough that we went several times to see them). We also walked to the pier and downtown Oceanside several times to eat and explore the area. It really is a great place with a great view and great location. On top of all this, Tami is absolutely awesome to deal with. You can't go wrong with this one.

Best Location, Best Host!

Tami was an absolute dream to work with. She was very upbeat and friendly and her hospitality went beyond my expectations. There was a delicious (chilled) bottle of champagne waiting for us which served our mimosas for the week. She also left thoughtful little beach toys for the kids which they absolutely loved. The cottage itself was in the perfect location and the home was immaculate. I couldn’t believe all the little details around every turn to show us, as guests, how valued and welcomed we were. There was plenty of stock of everything from coffee cups to sandwich bags to seasonings to blankets to books to board games to Q-tips! For that week, we felt truly home. We did plenty during our week - walk to the pier, Carlsbad Village, Legoland, beach day, pool day, putt-putt...there was so much surrounding us, we could’ve easily filled another week! Like I said, the location was perfect. And NOTHING beats falling asleep to the sound of the waves every night!!! Tami, you a gem. You are so gracious and accommodating. I appreciate how you made our first beachhouse spring break rental experience more than I could’ve ever imagined. You have a lifetime renter in us!

Wonderful in every way

The property was exactly as described and beautiful! we loved our time there and would definitely return. The rooms were clean, kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, beds were comfortable, views were amazing.

Oceanside = Heavenside

We usually stay at Mission Beach, but wanted something different this time. I brought my parents and my father really loved being able to sit on balcony and watch the ocean and people. My husband loved the waves better than Mission. I loved being able to share it all with them. The grounds are very much like Hawaii - beautiful! I especially loved feeding the Koi fish each morning before I worked out at the gym, and walked on the beach, taking pictures, picking up shells and stones.

Amazing!

Wonderful!

My family thoroughly enjoyed this property! The owner was very responsive to all of our needs and questions. The master bed was perfect- comfortable bedding and mattress. The bunk bed and full bed were great for my boys. The kitchen and closets were well-stocked. We really enjoyed the location - and the ocean front view was amazing. Highly recommend! Other notes - workout room, pool, and hot tub were also great! Thank you for a lovely vacation, Tami!

Great on-beach experience

Tami and Alton are wonderful owners and were always available for everything we needed. We enjoyed watching the surfers every day and our daily walks on the beach. Also liked having a workout facility on campus. We didn't use the pool, but did use the lagoon hot tub which is very unique. Great place for families with children on spring break.

Greatest place to stay!

This was our second time at this cottage and again, we had the greatest time. Tami and Alton are the best hosts - always accommodating, always helpful, honest, and always stay in communication with you. The cottage is well maintained and stocked with everything you need and the views are breath taking! Full view of ocean and wonderful sounds of the waves to fall asleep to. God willing, we hope to return again.

🦀 We are Alton, Tami and Boys: Clay, Cole, Chase & Cade. Alton is a general contractor. I (Tami), Clay, and Chase are all court reporters. Cole is finishing up his master's in science degree. (UPDATE: HE GOT IT! He is now a college professor.) Our youngest, Cade, is now 21. He keeps us laughing with his witty self.

The profile picture is only part of our family. Alton is lower left, our son Cade is upper left, our friend Captain Larry, who we love going out on the water with, and our son Chase is on the right.

We are so excited to share our treasured past guests, many who have become our dear friends, and our future guests our amazing oceanfront cottage with a pier a block away AND a harbor right next day, all wrapped into one amazing city, Oceanside! If you have not been to Oceanside lately, you are missing out!

We still have our lovely ocean-view condo in Dana Point available to rent. It is at the beautiful Strands Beach.

You are going to LOVE our oceanfront cottage!! Our goal has always been to leave our guests with the feeling that they don't know how they are going to be able to wait another year to visit us again. By reading our reviews, you will see that we are achieving our goal.

GORGEOUS BEACHFRONT, UPSTAIRS END UNIT with extra south-facing windows, which makes our cottage extremely bright and cheery. It is just a magical cottage.

There are only a couple upstairs beachfront end units. This Oceanfront Cottage is SO special. Arguably the nicest location/unit in the complex;

It is situated directly in the middle of the pier, longest pier in So. California, and a quaint harbor with amazing restaurants to enjoy. Alton and I had lunch at the harbor the first day we spent looking for property close to the harbor. As we sat out looking over the harbor and after enjoying a wonderful day in Oceanside, we could not get smiles off of our faces. We knew we had found a vacation destination to share which would leave our wonderful guests leaving not knowing how they could make it another year before returning. This is IT!! We love the weather, the smells, the colors, and that priceless feeling of feet in the sand.
