The Hokey Pokey Clinic beach house is truly a place to 'turn yourself around'. A short 700 ft walk down the quiet court to the beach walkover. Enjoy some sun and fun all day at the beach, only to return to private outdoor shower. Rest up in the lower outdoor entertainment area with relaxing shade & breeze. End your day with a cook out using the supplied grill, picnic table, and comfortable patio seating. Don’t want to cook tonight? TripAdvisor's top 3 restaurants are within walking distance.

A cozy 1000 sq ft, 2 bedroom cottage with a large fully equipped kitchen and open concept living area. An extra in-counter beverage fridge to keep your favorite drinks ice cold and easy to access. Huge dining room table allows for space to spread out, work on a puzzle, play a game, and still have room for family dinner. Master BR with king has hanging space and dresser. The 2nd BR has double + twin along with hanging space and a dresser. Bathroom with walk in shower, supplies include bath towels and home starter kit (soap, shampoo & TP). Wifi & TV included (plus Netflix!) but no cable package. HDMI ports available for smart sticks, gaming, etc. Easy access and security from August Home smart lock using app on your phone. Central air condition and ceiling fans in every room for your comfort. Windows and views from every room. Patio area down below with lounge chairs, picnic table and charcoal grill. Don’t forget to enjoy the best sunset views plus a peek-a-boo glimpse of the gulf on the front deck.

This is a 6 person occupancy home (at all times). No parties or gatherings over 6 allowed without permission from owners.

EASY CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT:
Access the home electronically at 4pm on the day of your arrival with a unique lock code made specifically for you. Code will be sent to you via text and email. Your code goes live at 4pm on your arrival day and ends at noon on your date of departure.

DOG FRIENDLY:
One well-behaved dog will be considered, subject to approval. Rules: Dog must be house trained, Ability to keep dog off couch + chairs, and Guests must clean up pet waste in yard (Shovel provided). Payment of non-refundable $75 Pet Fee is required prior to check in. All dogs must be approved by owners and fees paid before check in.

Great getaway!
We had time for a quick trip at the end of Spring Break. The Hokey Pokey Clinic was a great spot! Super close to the beach and only 15 minutes or so from Lake Jackson. The hostess, Stephanie, was friendly and communicative. There were several warm touches when we arrived making us feel welcomed and she was sure to provide us with information about community events over the weekend we were there. We definitely recommend this rental and will definitely be back!

The perfect beach getaway!
I came to Surfside Beach area for a work trip and stayed for the weekend. This property was PERFECT! The location could not be beat. House stayed cool after a long day outside. Two great restaurants within a 3 minute walk. Stephanie was so prompt at answering all my messages, next time I am here I would happily stay again! Thanks so much

Hello! We are Zach & Stephanie, owners and operators of Take Me to the Sea Rentals.

Thank you for considering a visit to one of our beach houses in Surfside Beach, Texas.

​We moved to the Village of Surfside Beach in the Fall of 2018 and fell in love with the village, the neighbors and the beach. The Hokey Pokey Clinic was our first house in Surfside. We took great care into making it our full-time home.

Zach and I believe the Driftwood Ct neighborhood is one of the best in town. Quiet, yet close to the action and easy access to the beautiful beach. It was hard moving from the Hokey Pokey Clinic, even though we are only a few minutes down the beach. So, when our second rental on Driftwood Court became available, Morning Dew, we knew we had to have it too. You see, Zach and I have traveled many places in the World and prefer to stay in short-term rental properties so we can experience “life like a local”. We often fantasized about owning a rental of our own and how we would run it. Now that our fantasy has come true, we would love to share “life like a local” in Surfside with you, your family and friends. We take great pride in our homes by setting up the perfect experience with the utmost attention to details.
