Black Hills Diamond Dale loma hirsimökki

Black Hills -lomaasi varten meillä on kaunis hirsitalo / mökki, joka sijaitsee Black Hillsin sydämessä - Rapid Cityn ja Deadwoodin välillä. Eristäytynyt, maalaismainen, mutta silti helppo käyttää ... siinä on kaikki modernit mukavuudet. Yksityinen pääsy mailin päässä North Box Elder Creekistä. Taimenkalastus, maastopolut, moottorikelkkareitit, ratsastus, golf, retkeily minuutin sisällä tästä uudesta hirsitalosta. Kausiluonteinen kylpytynnyri, puulämmitteinen takka, ulkogrilli ja paljon muuta!

Uskomattoman luonnonkaunis puolen tunnin ajomatka Lyijyn, Deadwood-pelaamisen, Sturgisin, Custer Peakin hiihtoon. Alle tunnin päässä Mt. Rushmore, Terry Peak, Custerin valtionpuisto. Villipeura, hirvi ja kalkkunat asuvat hyttiä ympäröivissä metsissä. Kävele pihalla oikealle National Forest Service -maan maa-alueelle tosi erämaa-vaellukselle. Et usko kuinka upeaa hiljaisuutta yöt ovat ... ja kuinka monta tähteä yötaivas pitää!

Annual 4wheeling Trip

We were a party of 8 and fit comfortably in the home. The pictures do not show the size or comfort of this home it exceeded our expectations and we will be back!!

Perfect Nemo UTV Riding Location!

This is our second stay at this cabin and we love the location for UTV riding in the Nemo area! The cabin is roomy and kitchen is well-appointed for cooking meals and having dinner together at the large dining table. The hot tub is great to soak in after a long day of riding. The back deck is large, private, and peaceful. We have already booked a return trip later this summer with friends. Highly recommend this cabin rental!

Great location

Good older cabin. I would mention there are lots of steps and the grass outside grows wild, so not great for yard activities. Other than that, good place, lots of space, AC worked well. Was easy to find and for being away from towns, its an easy drive to all the attractions in many different locations.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean, beds were comfortable and we just had a great time with family. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. The location is beautiful!!

Beautiful home & area!

The home is beautiful had everything we needed and more. The area is fabulous and right in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go and everything we wanted to do owners were so nice very helpful. It was a great vacation our whole group enjoyed it.

Perfect Black Hills Getaway

Spent a long weekend with family (15) at Diamond Dale and was more than satisfied with all of the amenities that it provided. Was a great and somewhat secluded location. Everyone had a great time!

My 2nd time staying at the cabin

It is a beautiful cabin. This time I came back with my sisters. The location was close enough to everywhere we wanted to go but in a very quiet & relaxing spot. Glad there was Wi-Fi in the cabin since Verizon cell service is spotty. Hot tub was awesome too. We all enjoyed our time there!

Family reunion

Could use some work. Loose screws sticking up on deck. Dirty dishes in drawers. Cookware was needing replaced. Broken kitchen chairs.

Great Location

Overall- it was a great stay. We’ve done VRBO/AirBNB stays in the Black Hills the last 6 years. Our only disappointment was the cleanliness of the house and the hot tub. The hot tub was extremely murky and smelled by the end of the week. We were surprised there wasn’t a daily treatment process like we have seen in the past. Additionally, the interior of the house wasn’t as clean as we have seen in past stays at other rentals. Upon arrival there was a large amount of dead flys (15-20) by the living room bay windows, dirty floor, and unemptied garbage. Outside the cleanliness issues the place was great. Lot of space, well located (especially for UTVers), great views.

Beautiful Cabin and Location

There was a lot to love about this property. The kitchen was stocked and we made lots of meals there. There is also a nice deck with a hot tub. We did have trouble navigating the controls on the hot tube despite lots of "helps". (hand written instructions) There were a few places that I wish had substantial hand rails, going to the basement for one. The beds on the main and loft area were uncomfortable for me and my niece. We prefer a little give and softness so this may be a preference thing. I took to the couch and that did the trick for me. Overall this was a wonderful house and I would go again if we vacation again. I might mention that there were lots of chores and cleaning duties one had to preform in order to get deposit back. I was confused because the was also a cleaning fee. I wasn't a fan of cleaning so much when vacationing.

Wonderful Stay in a Beautiful Location, BUT Property Needs Deep Cleaning and Maintenance

Pros: Our family had a wonderful stay here and would definitely return (in the winter - see Cons list)! This property is in an absolutely stunning location. It is remote, but centrally located for so many of the major attractions in the Black Hills. The setting is very peaceful and tranquil. Nemo is a very small town but has a store that is well-stocked for most needs. The home is huge with enough bedrooms and, more importantly, bathrooms, to accommodate a large group. And it is a beautiful home. The kitchen is large and well-stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. There are two grills so there is enough grill space to cook for a large group. There are two decks so, depending on the time of day, you can pick where you want to spend time. The host is very responsive to inquiries and the property manager lives close in case there are issues. Cons: THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING and while the listing clearly doesn't state there IS air conditioning, we assumed there would be because the Black Hills gets very hot. And while it gets nice and cool over night, it got very hot in the house. Several windows do not have blinds or curtains so we had to fashion our own. We were also traveling with young children who are less able to handle the heat. This was a major drawback. Second major drawback - the cabin was needing a thorough deep cleaning and had maintenance issues. The grills were absolutely disgusting. We had to put some serious elbow grease into cleaning them before they could be used. The yard was not mowed and there were stinging nettles close to the decks, so the kids could not really play in the yard and the yard is situated on a hill. We tried to mow the lawn, but could not get the mower started. The decks are also missing railing that would make them safe for children. At some point a guest must have brought dogs, which they did not clean up after. There were also some maintenance issues including flickering lights, broken light fixtures, rotting deck boards, no cable during our stay (which did get fixed), and the dryer vent was broken. Given the nightly cost of the property, we expected a place in better condition.

Excellent

Diamond Dale is our favorite place to rent while in the Hills. It is easy to get to and easy to get to the trails. Diamond Dale is clean and has plenty of room!
