Multi-Gen Family Loved this House!

We really enjoyed this home as our home base for a trip to Watercolor. It is near the trails which makes it easy to cut through the neighborhoods to get around. House was overall clean with just a couple of issues which the property management team handled. Golf cart was great and worked perfectly. Grill is a little rusty but worked. Amount of beds were perfect for our group and we enjoyed the small fenced in area to let our dogs out to potty when we couldn't do a full walk. Would book again!

Relaxing and Well Appointed

This home was clean and perfect for our group of 6 adults, 1 infant and 1 dog. Nice quiet part of Watercolor, great proximity to Frog Pool down the street, surprisingly quick and easy walk to Tennis Center, Boat House, etc. We’ve stayed in WC a bunch of times, but never in this neighborhood and I had imagined it being further to get to the older neighborhoods closer to 30A, but the proximity from the home to the bridge across Western Lake to the tennis center was great! We didn’t use the golf cart too much, but it was helpful to have access on a few occasions. Kitchen was very well equipped - just a huge supply of dishes, glassware and silverware so you didn’t have to run the dishwasher constantly. Love the screen porches and used the open side porch for family hangouts all day long. Guest services were very responsive for the few small issues we had and rectified everything quickly.

Comfortable pet friendly home

We enjoyed our stay and will consider Watchtower Walk again for our next stay at 30A. The home was clean, comfortable and convenient. It was nice to have the golf cart for trips to the beach club and Camp Watercolor. Also nice to be next to walking trails for morning and evening dog walks. Would recommend for families traveling with a dog. The garden area is a small fenced in area with turf grass which was great for our dog.

Large family annual vacation

The management company responded quickly with even small concerns and questions. That was very much appreciated. The home should really be described as 4 bedrooms and a bonus bunk room. The room with 4 bunks with access to the watchtower does not have a closet which was a little inconvenient for a long stay. It also does not have a light switch inside the room, the switch is outside in the hall. And the pocket door will not stay closed unless it is latched, which is a problem since there is no way to unlatch it from outside the room. So when kids were sleeping in the bunks, we had to wedge a towel under the door to keep the door closed. Also, we found out after several incidences trying to access the pools and beach with 12 people and an infant, that the HOA has a strict policy that each home can only be advertised as max occupancy of 10. The HOA office behind Publix said the homeowners and rental agencies are aware of this policy and advertising otherwise leads to problems when more than 10 want into restricted areas at once. Many times one of the adults had to sacrifice their beach or pool time for a child bc the HOA will absolutely not allow more than 10 bands per property, period. That felt misleading. The advertising should make that clear and not lead the renter to believe that more bands could at all be possible.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house we rented was in a wonderful location in Watercolor. Close to pools and beach, and extremely quiet ! A short bike ride to everything! The home was the perfect size for our 11 member family. The grandchildren loved the 2 bunk rooms and the watchtower. The porches were so comfortable and spacious. The house was well stocked with everything you needed to cook! We did have a few maintenance problems though. The wine fridge and the lower oven were not working and we had cold showers for a couple days in the master suite upstairs. Our rental agents acted quickly on the problems , but parts for the wine fridge and oven had to be ordered. Golf cart was an huge plus! All in all a fabulous week!

Great property, great location

Overall a very nice place to stay. There was a few hiccups, though. There were not enough wristbands for the number of people that house can hold (apparently based on how Watercolor classifies parts of the house as a “room”). However the owners did their best to work out a solution, albeit about 2 days into our trip. Tip: If booking in Watercolor don’t just look at beds/rooms, also look at number of wristbands allocated. Also there were a few things that needed service or to be fixed. Having rented vacation homes before this seems quite common, and the management company was fast to get these remedied. I loved that the house had a golf cart we could use, and will definitely look for this feature in my next rental in the area, as it made it super easy to load the kids, boards, and cooler and get to the beach or Camp Watercolor. Would come back if the price is right.

Cold showers only

We have been coming to the area for over 15 years. This home was located the farthest from the beach. It says 3 blocks from the beach which it is not. We asked for hot water for showers, a plumber came twice and it was never rectified during our stay. For this price range I didn’t expect our whole family to have to take cold showers for a week. The blinds need a deep cleaning. The upstairs porch smells like mildew from the cushions.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First my daughter rented this house for 7 moms and 7 teenage daughters....a disaster for that many. The bunk room has NO closet and a tiny cabinet for clothes. Unless you have the large main bedroom, that is the only large closet. Even the first floor king which has a large bathroom has a very tiny closet.Then my daughters group moved out and we took over for our family for 10 days,The fire alarm went off at 2:30 am due to a bad battery and no one would answer their emergency call line. So ended up calling the fire department to come take down the battery. When I called the next day to tell them what happened, seemed like they could care less that no one answered during the night. However, they did send someone over quickly to fix all the old alarms which should have been replaced years prior. Seems like Exclusive 30 A is not a management company, just an office to handle calls. When anything was requested the answer was “we don’t supply that”....like pillows, hangers.It’s an ok house but nothing outstanding They do offer with the house a golf cart, but you can’t take it to Seaside. If you rent through Electric Cart, you can drive it all over so not that great to have it.

Some bedrooms were a good size, the bunk rooms are acceptable for small children- but not for teenagers. The bathrooms are VERY small, as are the closets. One bunk room needed the poles to move the window blinds up and down. some of the doors to the bedrooms were broken or did not even have a way to close the door and keep it closed without propping something up to keep it closed .

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Many windows needed window coverings. Some bedrooms were a good size, the bunk rooms are acceptable for small children- but not for teenagers. The bathrooms are VERY small, as are the closets. One bunk room needed the poles to move the window blinds up and down. some of the doors to the bedrooms were broken or did not even have a way to close the door and keep it closed without propping something up to keep it closed .

Fun beach trip

Beautiful house. Comfortable. Everything you need. We would rent again. Property manager responded very quickly to a shower leak. Love the newly remodeled watercolor beach club. Fun times!
