Tervetuloa Black Bear Ridgeen!
Kotisi poissa kotoa kätkeytyneenä kauniiden savuisten vuorten sydämeen.
Ylellinen viiden makuuhuoneen hirsimökki on täydellinen pakopaikka niille, jotka haluavat Pigeon Forgen jännityksen ja Gatlinburgin komean tonkin, samalla kun he voivat silti nauttia Smoky Mountainin kansallispuiston rauhasta.

Kun kuljet Wears Valley -joen kiertoteiden läpi, panoraamanäkymät ovat vasta seikkailusi alkua. Saapuessasi Dogwood Farms -alueelle aidatulle yhteisölle, luonnollisen ympäristön kauneus ylittää vain saapumisen Black Bear Ridgelle.

Ensimmäinen asia, joka kiinnittää huomion, on upeat näkymät Smoky-vuorille! Korkeat ikkunat tuovat ulkopuolen sisään… antaa sinun herätä joka aamu kaikelle Äiti-Luonnon kauneudelle. Paikallisten juurtensa vuoksi tosi monet Black Bear Ridgen kalusteet on ostettu paikallisilta käsityöläisiltä, ja niissä on myös moderneja tapaamisia, jotka tekevät vierailustasi ikimuistoisen.

Mökissä on viisi makuuhuonetta, joissa on enemmän kuin tarpeeksi tilaa 16 nukkumiseen!

Ensimmäiseen kerrokseen pääset hyttiin ja josta löydät olohuoneen, jossa on 65 tuuman televisio, joka sijaitsee kaasutakan, ruokasalin, keittiön, kylpyhuoneen ja 2 queen size -huoneen yläpuolella, yhdessä makuuhuoneessa on jopa oma terassi!
Täysikokoinen keittiö on varustettu kaikilla mehitarikkaan aterian valmistamiseen tarvittavilla tarpeilla. Ruokapöytä on vain muutaman askeleen päässä keittiöstä ja sitä ympäröivät ikkunat, jotta voit ottaa näkymän aterioidesi aikana. Meillä on jopa hiiligrilli, jos haluat heittää runsas pihvi.

Yläkerrassa on makuuhuoneen sviitti, jossa on tietysti king-size-vuode ja oma kylpyhuone, jossa on suuri kylpyamme, kehyksetön lasisuihku ja tupla-astian pesuallas. Master-makuuhuone on näky, josta on näkymä, kun sinulla on loputtomat näkymät Smoky-vuorille sängyn juurella ja mahtavia auringonlaskuja omalta yksityiseltä kanneltasi! Master-sviitissä on myös 50 tuuman televisio sekä oma huoneesi takka !!
Yläkerrassa myös pieni parvi / oleskelutila, jossa on mukava lokityylinen futon-sohva, josta tulee queen-size-vuode, jos sitä tarvitaan ylimääräisten vieraiden majoittamiseen.

Alakerrassa isossa pelihuoneessa on 2 kerrossänkyä, joissa 4 erillistä vuodetta. Pelihuone on missä PoolTable sijaitsee, samoin kuin toinen 65 tuuman televisio ja mukava oleskelualue rentoutuaksesi ja katsellaksesi suosikkielokuvasi tai televisio-ohjelmasi suorassa televisiossa.
Alakerrassa on myös 4. ja 5. makuuhuone, joissa queen-vuoteet ja vielä 2 kylpyhuonetta sekä täysikokoinen pesula.

Entä sukeltamalla porealtaaseen, josta on näkymät vuorille rentoutua? Aivan Pelihuoneen ulkopuolella sijaitsevalla ulkoterassillamme on runsaasti tilaa jokaiselle nauttia luonnosta ja saatat jopa saada vierailun yhdeltä paikalliselta, nelijalkaiselta lajikkeelta tai jopa nopean zoomin kolibrista!

Sijainti:
Black Bear Ridge sijaitsee Dogwood Farmsissä Seviervillessä aivan moottoritieltä 321 ja 15 minuutin päässä Pigeon Forgen keskustasta. Odotamme saavamme sinut vieraamme!

Wonderful stay

Property was great. It was right at the end of the road, which allowed us a beautiful view, especially in the mornings. Property was easy to find and get to, although there is a steep hill on the last turn that you need to gun it on. Overall a pleasant stay.

Family Christmas trip

Our family of 10 (6 adults, 4 children) had a wonderful time at Black Bear Ridge. The cabin was exactly as described and provided more than enough room for our group! The views were incredible and we would love the opportunity to stay here again sometime!

Family vacation

Beautiful cabin was everything it promised and more. We had 15 people and were never crowded. When booking i thought we would be only there at night but everyone enjoyed the cabin and we spent most of our time there. Having that much family time was great. We even saw a bear while out on balcony early one morning. Worth every penny!

Spring Break Trip

We had a great stay at this cabin! We had children a baby, and an elderly woman, and it accommodated everyone nicely! A bear got into the trash on the porch during the middle of the night, which was really exciting for the kids! I would recommend this cabin to anyone!

Overall a great weekend stay!

There were a few little things that could've been better. The locks on some of the balcony doors don't work which bothered my parents. The hard floors were on the dirty side...we all had black feet. The glasses in one cabinet were very foggy. The pool table had a couple broken pockets. Like I said, little things. The rooms were neat and tidy. We had plenty of linens and towels. Hot tub was great! There was plenty of parking. Communication with the owners was great. They were very responsive in a timely manner every time we needed them!

Amazing!

This review is more than a bit overdue. I stayed in this cabin with a big group of friends and my siblings in March 2022 and they are all still talking about it to this day (almost a year later)! The cabin was very clean and private. The view was gorgeous! The property manager was so accommodating and communicated promptly. We had a great time and we would stay here again! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Best weekend

This cabin was AWESOME!! We had an adult gathering this weekend and it was epic. The cabin is nice. Enough room for everybody. The only thing and I mean the only thing was no t.v. in all the rooms, but we was having so much fun no on even really cared. The owners are great they let us check in early and get things set up. Thank you so much for letting us make these amazing memories in your amazing cabin!!

Family wedding

A large group of my family stayed here for my cousin’s wedding. The cabin was perfect for us! The description was very accurate (esp the steep drive to the top lol). Beautiful cabin, beautiful view, and only about a 15-20 minute drive to the island at Pigeon Forge. Our only complaint is that the only mirrors in the house are in the bathrooms, so it was a little difficult for all of us to get ready for the wedding at the same time. We will definitely recommend this cabin to family and friends.

Nice Stay

We loved our view but didn’t realize it was so far up in the mountains The cabin kitchen was clean, but the bathrooms had some issues. There was hair on the floor in some showers and they were not clean enough.Some bathrooms only had a partial roll of tissue and there was not enough garbage bags in the kitchen. The basement patio door lock was broken, and we were not able to lock it, but we didn’t feel that was an issue because it was so high from the ground. Overall it was a nice cabin, and we may stay there again

Needs better cleaning service

Overall the cabin was nice, just a few issues. There were 3 doors that had broken locks on them. All leading to one of the decks, not a huge concern since someone would have to climb to get to them, but not great if you have little ones that might wonder outside. The cleaning of the cabin was my main issue, cobwebs in the master bath and other rooms. Also found a few loose items throughout out the cabin which show that it was not cleaned thoroughly, especially for the price they charge. The cabin itself was nice and the views are simply amazing. Beds where all stif, but they have been at every other cabin we have stayed at in PF, so that is to be expected. Not sure I would recommend this property due to the cleaning issues, the property owner did respond, but did not provide any solutions since it was Thanksgiving weekend

Amazing

This cabin is absolutely beautiful and the views are breathtaking! The beds were great and all of the furniture was very comfortable. The hosts were great to communicate with and very accommodating. You can not go wrong with this cabin!! I will say that the road going up to the cabin is steep in one place. We made it up with our van but we were pushing it's limit lol Other than that the stay was fantastic!

Large family weekend getaway

This cabin was perfect for our large family!! While not close to town, it only took us about 15 minutes to get back down to the parkway. The cabin provided all of the space that we needed and was very clean. Our only complaint was that the cleaning people were still in the cabin when we arrived at check in time and we were delayed getting into the cabin by more than 30 minutes. While this seems petty, there is no where close by to wait so we had to wait in the driveway in our cars. Otherwise we had a great trip!!

Unexpected Extra Charges

The host exploited Vrbo rules and regulations to charge me extra money without my permission or evidence of any damages. Everything was fine until 14 days after my stay ended. I received a message from the host that they would charge me an extra $500. The host claimed the cabin was left unclean, which is not true. We spent extra time cleaning all the rooms and tidying everything up, even though we should not do so since we are paying separately for cleaning.

Beautiful Mountain View!!

Overall this was an amazing vacation at a beautiful cabin in the mountains!! Our group consisted of 13 people ages 1.5 yrs to 66! We had small kids, teenagers, and adults. The setup was great, with enough room to spread out on three floors. We experienced a few technical difficulties with one thermostat and one fireplace, but were assisted immediately by the owners and things were corrected. The place could use a good deep cleaning but we understand the owners are working with a new cleaning service and have to get the kinks worked out. We have a few tips and recommendations if you will be staying at Black Bear Ridge cabin in the near future…. * Bring binoculars because the views are AMAZING!! * The main floor fireplace really warms up the upstairs, as heat rises… so the master and loft get pretty warm pretty quickly. Just keep in mind for sleeping arrangements. * The driveway has plenty of room for 4 vehicles, but is best to back into for easy exiting. * The town close by (maybe called Wear’s Valley?) is very cute, with neat shops, wine & moonshine tasting places, and a great coffee shop. There’s also a Dollar General and Subway! * Cabin is very convenient between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Our running joke was “it’s just 20 minutes” because basically everything is 20 minutes away! * Don’t miss out on visiting the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Go towards Sugarlands Visitor Center and you might even see snow. Thanks so much to Dave & Jessy!

Beautiful cabin but issues during trip

Overall the cabin is beautiful, it's spacious for large families - that was not the issue. We arrived Christmas eve and the cabin appeared to be clean and ready. Was disappointed in the Christmas tree that was up, it had star fish on it for a mountain tree and very little decorations. The owner stated in my previous email before arriving it would be a big beautiful tree, not at all. Christmas morning we awoke to a mouse in the food on the kitchen counters followed by catching mice every morning of the trip. The owner answered our calls each time, but the response of its "Christmas and everyone is off" or "you are in the mountains" is not what I wanted to hear (housekeeping, maintenance, exterminator- off) maybe the cabin should not be rented if there is no support personnel to address issues during the holidays. VRBO no help other than contacting the owner, which was disappointing as well. We took the trash to the landfill per the owner since housekeeping was off to be turned around it was full. It was one thing after another. The owner called back each time but when I sent a email requesting a refund to offset the food / gift damage from the mice (sending pictures and video) no response which is disappointing. I am not one that likes to leave negative reviews but this was not an enjoyable trip. I have tried to allow the owner and VRBO to respond to the request for the refund before posting but no response.

Anniversary trip

We had a family trip for our parents 50th wedding anniversary. The views from the house were absolutely beautiful. We were close enough to everything but far enough to feel removed. There were 9 of us and the house was plenty large enough for us all to feel comfortable. We would recommend this property to anyone looking to spend time in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area.

Breathtaking Views in Every Direction

Just got back from our week-long stay at the Black Bear Ridge cabin and nothing but great times and forever memories for all. What a beautiful cabin smack dab in the middle of the Great Smokey Mountains with something for everyone regardless of the age. As a family, we will remember this trip for a long time. Thank you for sharing Black Bear Ridge with us and all of your hospitality.

Motorcycle friendly

I will say the bears are out. Knocked over two bikes and slobbered all in a saddle bag. Do not leave empty wrappers on bikes or smells in bags. These bears are cleaver. I would say there wasn’t any coffee in the cabin and made for a rough morning with 10 people. I had a pick up ready in Walmart for 7 am. Just pack your coffee needs. Great host nice cabin. Oh and we had a little mouse that stayed the whole time in the cabin. And carpenter bees are tearing up the front porch and woodpeckers. Wood will just fall on ya. All nature happenings nothing to scare away. The views are breathtaking.
