KÀvele 100 metriÀ pulahtaa merelle tai snorkkeliÀ kalojen kanssa. Voit todella nauttia paratiisista poistumatta lomakohteesta. Papakea Resort sijaitsee North Kaanapalin rannalla. Papakealla on 13 hehtaarin vehreitÀ trooppisia puutarhoja, joissa on jalka-sillat ja Koi-lammet. TenniskentÀt, vihreiden, shuffleboardin ja 2 uima-altaan / 2 kylpytynnyrin asettaminen tekevÀt ajastasi rentouttavaksi tai kiireiseksi. Lapset nauttivat erityisesti uima-altaissa ja meren rannalla. Sinulla on mahdollisuus ruokailla uima-altaalla tai grillaamalla tai menemÀllÀ mihin tahansa lukuisista ravintoloista viiden kilometrin sÀteellÀ.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our rental experience was pretty amazing! I WISH the check out was one more hour (10am check out was a challenge) but the clean up list/requests wasn’t crazy. The condo was stocked with lots of essentials in the kitchen. They also had several hairdryers and curling irons, so save room in your bags and leave yours home! Was kinda bummed both snorkel masks in the condo leaked. The umbrella was also flimsy and just blew inside out. One of the lawn chairs was also broke. The boogie boards were fun! Definitely check out the gear first day so you can go rent gear that you need. The place was clean and was in a great location! Bed was a bit uncomfortable, and had a piece of plywood to give it more structure? Living room couch SUPER rock hard and uncomfortable.

The unit was in good condition & comfortable.We liked having a garden unit especially with kids.There were beach chairs & towels which made it very convenientThe air conditioner was only in the front room, but the ceiling fans and box fan kept the back rooms cool.The window coverings were nice & were sufficient for blocking out sun & lightThe screen door for the slider was very difficult to open & close. The patio was a bit crowded as there were several chairs and 2 tables. We think it would be easier to navigate with a couple less chairs or a smaller table. We had a great stay and would gladly return.

We loved sipping coffee on the lanai each morning watch the sea and sunshine and sometimes rainbows. The beds were very comfy. We did not have a problem but travelers need to know that the bedrooms are not air conditioned. The option of fans and open windows worked well.

Excellent location

Nice condo with ground level access and the lanai opens out to a koi pond. It is close to the pool that has bbqs and also about 200 yards from the beach. Awesome place and location!

Great place to stay

Came for a few birthdays with friends and the pool area was great to bbq and celebrate. Great location. We have stayed at papakea 4 times now and our kids love it. If you love poke go to food farm's store by Ross. So much cheeper and easy better than maui fosh market. Also love the medditeranian pizza place by the times market. Over all great stay

Beautiful location

Perfect ground level for my 81 year old Mom with mobility issues; peaceful property. Kitchen stocked with everything we needed including a blender! Awesome to have two boogie boards and beach towels and beach chairs to use. We had 7 total people and were very comfortable.

Everything we needed

Our family had a great time at Papakea. The condo had everything we needed for our stay in the Kaanapali area. There is no beach directly in front of the condo complex, but you can access some a smaller beach directly next to the condos and then the larger Kaanaapali beach and boardwalk in a 10-minute walk. We watched beautiful sunsets and saw whales in the distance and turtles swimming by - all from the seawall / grassy lawn area! It's a nice, quiet condo and a great home base to explore the area.

Maui is the Best

Love the resort! Safe, Clean and people friendly. Accommodations were exactly as advertised. 1st floor is a bonus as you do not have to take the stairwell to get to the pool you can just walk out the patio door. Had some issues with the sofa sleeper but the maintenance addressed it right away. Would come back to this resort for sure!

Very comfortable and relaxing

Our condo was excellent. Perfect spot right next to the koi pond and a short distance to the pool and ocean. We loved being on the bottom floor. The use of beach chairs and towels were convenient. Having ice ready in the freezer a plus! Everything we needed was there. The beds were very comfortable. We would love to come back and stay there again! Highly recommend.

Great location!

Place was very suitable for our group. It was clean and well-appointed. The out-dated pull-out bed mattress was not good so we ended up putting it on the floor. It was much more comfortable but really, you need a new sofa bed. Also, you only have 2 beach chairs for a place that accommodates four people minimum. It would be nice if all members of the group could have a beach chair. Thanks!

It was clean and quiet and a neural location for West Maui adventures. We utilized the barbecues often with the ocean view while our food cooked! It’s not advertised with an ocean view, but from the lanai there is a decent view. There are three TV’s in this unit but not a one was turned on during our stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been staying at Papakea for a couple weeks in the winter for over a decade with the exception of winter 2021 due to covid. We've stayed in several different units, we always enjoy our time and love this low density resort. This unit is fine, adequate, will do. It definitely has some deferred maintenance that is pretty disappointing with a unit in this price range(the stove is missing buttons, the towel rack in the master fell off the wall if you touched the towel on it). The appliances, finishes and furniture were likely part of the original "package" that could be purchased to furnish the unit and are very overdue for an upgrade. Will we be back to Papakea? YES! Will we rent this unit again? No. We moved to another unit (we added another week and this one was booked already) and for a lower rate have a signficantly upgraded unit.

Overpriced for what you get

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd year renting J103 for a 3 week holiday stay. In 2018, the price we paid for the unit was in line with the condition. When we rented for 2019, the price greatly increased, but we assumed it was due to updates coming. When we arrived on 12/13/19, we realized updates had not been done.Master Bedroom - Mattress does not fit on the box springs due to the headboard being attached to the wall and not the bed frame. The mattress pad does not fit, causing lumps under the fitted sheet. The bedspread is very old, luckily it is warm enough we did not need it. Master Bath-Shower curtain is very old and covered in black spots. Door does not open fully due to the location of towel rods.Living Area-GREAT TV. Furniture is ok, but outdated and worn. Dining Table is large enough for 6 people but does not feel stable.Kitchen-Stove top is not fully working. The control switch for the adjustable burner has been broken for over a year. The cups are all plastic that have been run through a dishwasher way too many times. There is a drawer full of knives but none are very sharp.Storage-The shelf above the old washer/dryer is full of floor tiles and paint cans. There are paint cans stored in other cabinets as well. This makes long term stay very difficult due to limited places to store food and/or supplies.Art work on the walls is wonderful and bright.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying here! Location is ideal! We loved walking fom the unit to the beach, to the pool then to the food trucks for dinner. The unit was clean, quit and private with a beautiful view of the koi pond and the beach. We highly recommend and will be back!

The views and proximity to the beach was amazing. We loved the convenience of parking and we enjoyed the community. The food truck park was a great bonus.
