Great house

We had a great time at Cupcake. The house was clean and well appointed. The pool area was one of the best we ever had at Captiva. We will definitely be back.

Excellent set up right in town. Short walk to beach restaurants coffee shops.

Pool is heated and has a great hang out spot with Sonos in house and pool area. Probably the closest thing you'll find to staying in the tropics. We did a few morning trips to local attractions and became beach bums after lunch. RC Otters great food and spot with live music every night.

We love the Cupcake House!!

The house is absolutely beautiful! The pool and hot tub were perfect! There were outdoor games and a grill. We spent most of our 2 weeks around the pool! The kitchen was nicely equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us. Marsha is a wonderful hostess! We will definitely be going back to the perfectly located Cupcake!!

Perfect little paradise

Reasonably well protected from the storms (knock on wood!) the house is mostly surrounded by taller houses and good vegetation. The pool and hot tub are ideal for small groups and the hot tub overflows into the pool to make it very enjoyable even in January. The colors and furnishings are totally VACATION AT THE BEACH.

Life is sweet at Cupcake!

This house was absolutely perfect for our family getaway! The owners have thought of EVERYTHING to provide a comfortable and wonderful environment. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, the pool area is equipped with everything you would need to hang out and relax. There is a nice bathroom in the pool area, too! There are too many pluses to describe in a short review.This home is very beautiful and thoughtfully designed. The hickory floors throughout are just one beautiful example. We’ve already booked our stay for next year and hope to come for many years!

Holiday Away!

Our family had the most special time at the Cupcake House celebrating Christmas and a birthday! The house was so well stocked and appointed with everything we could have ever needed! We swam every day in the pool, took the beach chairs down to the beach, had evening meals on the deck … it was more than we could have hoped for. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Cupcake Review

Cupcake was a magical place to stay enjoyed by 3 generations of my family. Excellent accommodations and easy walkable to beaches, restaurants and shopping. When we return to Captiva, we will definitely want to stay at Cupcake again if available.

Awesome house in Captiva near village

Our family of 4 enjoyed a week at Cupcake house. The layout was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the beach cart and supplies in the activity closet were great for the short walk to the beach. Great proximity to walk to restaurants in the village. We'll definitely stay here again!

Perfect stay in Captiva at Cupcake

Cupcake is Amazing ! My parents, I and my 2 children (11 & 5) had the most perfect spring break swimming in the pool, hanging in the hot tub and relaxing. The house is beautifully decorated and is equipped with anything you could need for your stay. The beach is amazing and just a quick walk away. We had the perfect vacation at cupcake and can not wait to come back !!!!

Life is sweet at Cupcake

Our family of 6 (kids aged 8, 13, 16, 18) had an amazing time at Cupcake. The property was clean and had everything we needed and more. The outdoor area is awesome with the pool, games, and spacious lounge area. We ate dinners on the upper deck with the fans providing plenty of breeze. The location is perfect with just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Each morning I walked to the marina to see the manatees as the sun rose, then hit Boops or Starbucks for coffee. Evenings were spent on the beach watching the sunset. You can’t go wrong staying at this property!

Perfect getaway

We had an amazing stay in Captiva! We loved everything about the cupcake! It was a short beautiful stroll to the beach, we used bikes to get anywhere we needed, we walked to dinner at the bubble room and Keylime. We came home every night to a beautiful, spacious, clean home. We loved the pool and hot tub. We used them every single day! They have games and everything you need for the beach. If you’re looking for a house that has it all, look no further!!

Wonderful family friendly home and location.

This house is simply perfect for a vacation with family and children. It was clean, wonderfully situated (attractions and beach). The house, pool, and grounds were in wonderful shape. The kitchen had everything we needed, the pool and hot tube were used nonstop. The heater and AC were in excellent working conditions, and the neighboring houses were family friendly so sleep was even possible during ‘Springbreak’. The restaurants and amenities were literally around the corner, and the beach was an easy walk away. I would say this vacation to Captiva was our best, enjoyed by all, and if the opportunity arises for a return we will definitely know where to look first. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Adorable!

Just came home from the cupcake house with my husband and 3 kids and we all had a great time! The house was so adorable and colorful and very clean. The pool was heated to the perfect temperature so it always was easy to get into, unlike many other homes I've rented. The jacuzzi was a nice plus also! The only thing I was surprised by, was that the master bathroom has no door? Other then that, the house was perfect!

Cupcake was a dream!

The cupcake house was everything and more. Perfect location- a very short walk to the beach that my 3 year old could do no problem. Tons of sand toys, coolers, umbrella, chairs, swim rafts, baby floats! Literally you need to bring nothing for the beach or pool. The pool and hot tub was seriously the best. The water temp was so comfortable not too cold at all! Hot tub amazing. The house was beautiful. Again has everything. Baby chairs for meals, toys, books, games, all the kitchen utensils. The kids and adults had literally one of the best vacations ever. Can’t wait to visit again!!!

Cheerful Retreat!

We had a wonderful Christmas at this cheerful property! It's located on a lovely lane with plenty of privacy due to the beautiful palms and mature tropical foliage! It was perfect for the season and convenient to everything - restaurants, shops, biking, boat rentals, etc. The beach is just a block away and a beach cart is provided to take chairs, cooler and umbrella (also provided). The house is well-stocked as well and the heated pool/spa are beautiful and relaxing with a half-bath and plenty of seating to enjoy. We loved the whimsical decor and colorful accessories! Perfect for chasing away the winter blues!! Thank you for a wonderful stay! (P.S. We saw absolutely NO sign of red tide and we had monitored closely leading up to our visit. Beaches were beautiful and waters were clear.)

Perfect vacation house!

We loved the cupcake house! The back deck and pool/spa area were perfection. So many places to relax with privacy. Any kitchen utensil or dish I looked for I was able to find and plenty more. Great location. Cupcake overall feels like a home away from home. Thank you!

Great property great location

We have stayed on Captiva and the Santiva portion of Sanibel many times. This property was perfect for all our needs. Four weeks and have reserved if for winter 2025.
