Nice property – quiet, good view, lots of space. Pet friendly, with dog run next to house. Clean. No dishwasher, bring your own sheets. WiFi frequently lost connection, but ok cell service. It’s a wood cabin ,which can get hot, but air conditioner and ceiling fans kept it comfortable despite it being 90 and humid outside. Fine for a 2-night stay.During our short stay, the owner was courteous enough to notify us that they would be on property removing a fallen tree, but not likely be in our way. We were out all day and did not see them. However, they also showed up exactly at checkout time and sat in their car watching as we were loading up our car and made a final round in the house. We always view our stays as guests of someone sharing their home, and treat places as if they were ours; we leave places spotless. But at some level, we paid for the privilege of staying; show a little courtesy. Should we have been 100% packed up and driving off by 10? Technically. But we’ve never had any place (hotel, AirBnB sitting outside waiting for us like that. Who of us doesn’t actually check out sometimes at 10:10. And we’ve had AirBnBs give us extra time (e.g., we are going to breakfast, can we be out by noon in case we are a little late?” Never had a problem. So this falls under “not wrong, but a little odd.”Even with no dishwasher nor laundry, they wanted everything spic and span.
