Rentoudu ja pelaa tässä 2 makuuhuoneen yhden kylpyhytissä, josta on upea näköala järvelle. Tila lapsille pelata tai syöttää peuroja (järven koiria) tällä suurella ruohoerällä. Vain muutaman minuutin ajomatkan päässä Canyon Parkin venesatamasta, ravintoloista ja supermarketista. Voit viettää päivän letkun Guadalupe-joella ja sitten Bar B Q -hiilen päällä grillillä. Illat voidaan viettää paloputken ympärillä jäähdyttäen tai patikoimalla patikoimalla Overlook Parkissa. Seikkailunhaluisempi voi osallistua näytökseen Whitewater-amfiteatterissa tai tanssia historiallisessa Gruene-salissa. On Schlitterbahn 14 mailin päässä päivä vettä ratsastaa. Shoppailija löytää antiikkia Grueneista, Wimberlystä tai muista alueen pienistä kaupungeista. San Marcusissa on kaikki myymälät, joita ihminen voi haluta.

Couples Retreat

We had a great stay! This house was decorating nicely, spacious and lots of land with seating. There are 3 different styles of grills, jumbo jenga, cards and more. A great surprise was that they had a bucket for deer feed to feed the deers that came up to you. We highly recommend this house and will come back!

Peaceful lake stay

This house is so fantastic! Inside is so lovely and has everything you need. Comfy beds - well stocked kitchen - great living area. Outdoor space is incredible with hammocks and plenty of chairs and outdoor dining. Such a peaceful and beautiful place to enjoy the outdoors. We also loved the screened in porch. We hope to stay again soon.

Great for a weekend getaway

We stayed here for a Mom’s getaway in mid October and it was delightful. The house was well appointed and there were so many great touches. Both the indoor and outdoor sitting areas were cozy and perfect. The screened in porch was a delight. We were able to walk down to the lake. We had everything we needed. Rick, the host was also great. We all said we want to come back!

Totality 2024

We picked this house because it was along the line of totality for the 2024 eclipse. The house is clean and well kept. The yard is lovely and shaded with grazing deer all the time. You have a view of the lake which was 22 feet low at the time. Rick was a very responsive host. I would definitely recommend this property

Beautiful and relaxing getaway

This was our second stay at this wonderful little cottage at the lake. The home is clean and well appointed. The lot is spectacular full of trees and a view of Canyon Lake. Morning coffee with the deer was amazing. We will visit this place again and again. Thank you for a relaxing getaway once again.

Lake Cottage

Canyon Lake Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lovely cottage. It was a quiet weekend away from family and taking care of others. The wildlife was abundant. Quite a few deer. Great location, wonderful view of the lake, shade and trees, a superior Host, Richard. Highly recommend this cottage if you are traveling to Canyon Lake, Texas.

The Perfect Cabin

This property offers a nice and relaxing stay. We enjoyed the beautiful outdoor view and the nice big yard. The cabin has essential items for the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. Our kids enjoyed playing some of the board games and the outdoor activities with the sports items that were provided. Our favorite part of our stay at this place was the “Visitors” (deers) they came out early in the morning and afternoon. We will definitely try to book again.

Just want we needed

Driving up to the property you can see this place is some special, and as soon as you walk in you can see all the charm that this place as to give. The dacor was cute and make you feel like you was in a old lake cabin from the 60’s. We spend all our time in the screened-in porch ate breakfast, lunch and dinner out there. The only time the tv came on was just to see if a college football was on. The deers was my wife favorite part she made a friend with one special deer that would come in the morning so she can eat out of her hand. Before we left we was already looking at our work calendar to see when we can come back and spend time here again. Rick you have a special place and we will be back thanks again for a wonderful weekend.

My favorite vacation!

The property was beautiful on line, but it was waaaay more beautiful in person. I can’t stress enough how much we enjoyed every detail of the house and the property. Great communication with the owner. The deer made it extra special 😁. We can’t wait to come back!

Great relaxing place to stay!

We loved our stay here. Our favorite part was every morning and evening we would have 8 to 11 deer come within 10 feet of us and eat the corn we put out. In fact one of them would eat our of our hand. The house was very comfortable and relaxing just as a lake house should be. We would highly recommend it!

This was a very nice property if you want a remote getaway

Check in was easy. Property was clean and had everything we needed! Was not impressed with the lake access or having to wait in line for hours to get down to the lake to be turned away due to being over crowded, but this was not the property owners fault obviously. We enjoyed the relaxation of the property. Beds were comfortable and really enjoyed the screened in porch and watching and feeding the deer. My 21 yr old son and his friends don’t like to be around crowds so they stayed local while my friends and I explored the river and other areas. Overall was a great getaway weekend that was much needed! Thanks

Rick and Jacki live in San Antonio where Jacki works for the state, Rick is now retired and has been loving coming up to the lake to continue improving the property. Both have enjoyed sharing our peaceful lakeview cabin with so many. Families have enjoyed the place so much and we are humbled when they keep returning. I try to foresee any possible issues so your stay will go without a hitch. I will admit the raccoons and myself have not been seeing eye to eye the past year. So, book and enjoy our cabin as much as we do and let the stress melt away.

Want to share a wonderful Email I received 7/6/17

After our time at your place in Canyon Lake in March, we decided to take our 20-something kids with us for Fourth of July. One of our girls wanted to bring her dog, so we stayed at another place on lake on Parkview, since you don't allow pets. However, it just wasn't the same. :( Your hospitality is far superior to other VRBO/HomeAway places that we have stayed. The whole time we were in Canyon Lake (July 1-5), my husband and I continually talked about your place and the lovely screened-in porch. Just wanted to let you know that you have a wonderful place and your thoughtfulness makes stays refreshing. We hope to get back in to the area in the fall and we will definitely be booking your place. (We'll make our daughter find someone to watch her dog.) We love your place, so if you ever want to sell, let us know. :)
