Pelican Point Lake Estate on Texasin yksityisten pakopaikkojen luettelon kärjessä. Talo on 7600 neliömetriä ja siinä on 7 makuuhuonetta, 6 täyttä kylpyä, 2 puoli kylpyä ja nukkuu 20 ihmistä mukavasti (* 2 ylimääräistä henkilöä @ 50 dollaria / yö / kukin on sallittu, enintään 22). Kalusteet, sisustus, sängyt, liinavaatteet jne. On suunniteltu tarjoamaan ylellisyyttä, mutta eivät kuitenkaan ole liian muodollisia rentoutumiseen ja nauttimiseen. Siellä on poikkeuksellinen gourmet-keittiö, pelihuone, jossa on englantilainen pubibaari, biljardipöytä, pokeripöytä ja iso näyttö-tv. Ulkopuolella katettu terassi on erinomainen grilli ja ruokailutila, täydennettynä upea suolaisen veden uima-allas ja poreallas.

Paikan päällä tapahtuvaa toimintaa varten meillä on vuokrattavissa 2 ponttoonivenettä ja 2 kajakkia, jotka kaikki sijaitsevat hissillä varustetussa venevajassa. Ensimmäisessä venevajassa on poikkeuksellisen suuri oleskelualue ja hyvin kalustettu, mukaan lukien keittiö, jossa on jääkaappi. Vuokralaisillamme on myös yksinoikeus käyttää toista venevajaamme, joka sijaitsee lähellämme olevaa toista järvenrantahotellia, kauniissa, 3/4 hehtaarin maisemoidussa puistossa, johon on hiljattain istutettu persikka- ja pekaanipähkinäpuita. Venevajassa on rakennettu moderni muotoilu. Siinä on kymmenen jalkakattoa, joka mahtuu ammattihiihtoveneisiin, joissa on tornit ja keskitetyt potkurit, jotka vaativat kehtohissejä; siinä on myös superkokoinen vesihiihtohissi. Kauniisti sisustettu jääkaapilla, se on ihanteellinen onnelliseen tuntiin ja / tai vesiesitysten järjestämiseen.

Haluttaessa voit tuoda omat hiihto- ja bassoveneensä. Kahden venevajamme välissä meillä on kyky sijoittaa 4 venettä ja 4 vesiskootteria, jolloin sinulla voi olla oma kelluva armada, jolla on sormenpäällä pääsy vesiurheiluun!

Niille, jotka eivät ole niin aktiivisia, käy kävelylle Pelican Point Lake Estaten puiden peittämiin puutarhoihin, joissa on atseleaa, koirapuuta ja magnolia, tarkkailemalla lintuja ja muuta villieläimiä (pelikaanit, Kanadan hanhet, haikara, egretit, kalju kotkat ja pöllöt ovat vain muutamia monista linnuista löytyviä lintuja). We are frequent visitors. This is our third stay at Pelican Point. The house is magnificent, the location is calming, the views are wonderful. The home is well stocked in the kitchen. Pool, hot tub and grill are all functional and well maintained.

This house is a great spot for a big group to gather. Our group of approximately 20 ladies has stayed here the last four years and we love it. Plenty of sleeping accommodations, bathrooms and TONS of space to gather. Beautiful setting, lovely pool and hot tub. Two inside kitchens and one outside. It honestly has everything you need. We are already planning a return trip next year.

Family Vacation

Awesome house and property for a large family gathering. I don't see how there could be a better property on this lake when you consider the large space, great views, pool, hot tub and covered boat dock for fishing or watercraft. This was our second time here with a group of 16 people and will be coming back again in the future.

Pelican Point Paradise

Pelican Point was the perfect location for our annual family lake trip. The home is beautiful, spacious and well appointed. Amazing well equipped kitchen with ample dining and living space. The pool and waterfront were big hits.

Wonderful. We are repeat guests, and the grandkids love the place. It is an absolutely beautiful location. The house is designed for easy living. Has private areas and gathering areas. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and utensils. Pool was cleaned twice while we were there for a week.

Perfect for a Family Reunion

Beautiful home right on the lake in a very private area. Enough bedrooms, bathrooms and communal space for everyone. Kids love fishing off the dock in the boathouse.

Perfect house for a party

We were a group of 15 that stayed in the house and we hosted a birthday party for about 50. The house was amazing and very well stocked. So many indoor and outdoor spots to spread out in. The pool was awesome and the lake was gorgeous. Jerry and Bill were very easy to communicate with and helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend this house.

Beautiful weekend!

This property worked perfectly for our family celebration of my father’s 90th birthday and Easter. The grounds are so lovely, especially with all the azaleas in full bloom! All generations flew kites, hunted Easter eggs, swam, fished, explored the property and had a fantastic few days. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans and SPACE! Excellent for feeding 22 people! Also there are plenty of areas for smaller group conversations, reading or relaxing apart from the main living area. We had a wonderful memory-making weekend!

Wonderful house for large group

We have a group of approximately 20 ladies who get together once a year. We are all age 69-70. This is our third year at this house and we hope to come again next year. It is the perfect property for a large group. Plenty of comfortable sleeping options, but also plenty of huge areas to congregate and have fun. Lovely spot on the lake, very private. Highly recommend

Beautiful Lakeside Family Reunion

My husband and I rented this expansive property so our family, my parents, my siblings, and their families could reunite for a long weekend. It was the perfect space, with so many bedrooms, including the bunk room (where we filled the beds with little cousins), and such comfortable and luxurious common spaces. We took walks on the land on the point, used the hot tub every day (unfortunately too chilly for pool or lake, though a few brave ones did a polar plunge). The views were spectacular. Everyone was so impressed with the place and so happy to have had the opportunity to be together.

Family vaxation

The house was beautiful. Disappointed with the “cleanliness” of it. Such a beautiful property but not well taken care of. We had men working in the house two times while we were there, which was a bit disruptive. Plenty of space. Overall a good experience, but would encourage owner to focus on a better cleaning service and just generally take better care of the property.

Beautiful property but lacking in some areas.

This property is beautiful with large spacious common areas, lake access, a beach, boat dock, the large luscious lawn, pool, and hot tub. We also rented the pontoon boat as an add-on which was VERY disappointing. The first time out, the check engine light came on repeatedly. We called the property manager and he said the boat has been doing this since it was purchased and pretty much blew us off. We ended up not using it like we had planned for fear that we would get stuck in the middle of the lake. pool fountain did not work, no pool toys, no beach towels, and ping pong table was covered with dust and the paddles and balls were in a drawer that was infested with insects. We only got one bath towel and wash cloth per person and some linens provided looked like cleaning rags and a some of the bathmats were dirty. There was no soap, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryers in baths/showers and a very sparse supply of paper towels, dish soap, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies. There was a lack of wine glasses, cookie sheets and the blender gear was stripped and not in working condition. This host needs to work on cleanliness and providing basic necessities for travelers and would not recommend renting the boat. Other than that the property is beautiful and offers lots of options for guests.

just a tad short of perfect

My family of 10 (including 5 grandkids, ages 3 to 11) spent 4 nights at this property and found it to be outstanding. As I read through the previous reviews I find the accolades are deserved and feel there is no value in my making the same points but I will share an observation or two. I brought along any number of things that I knew the grandkids enjoyed to keep them occupied (ie: ladder golf, dart game, baseball, football, fishing gear, etc). Other than the fishing gear very little of what I lugged around was touched as Pelican Point was a natural kid's paradise providing an environment and facilities that just swept the grandkids into play (ie: exploration of the grounds, the comfortable hot tub, great pool, pool table, safe lake swimming, ping pong, etc). I should note that the size/quality and layout of the home itself provided secluded/quiet areas for those kids who had on-line school to "attend". This indeed was a blessing as those not thus working could go on having fun without disturbing those who could not participate. To be fair to other's considering this property I feel compelled to mention that the only tarnish on our stay was an occasional odor that floated across the property for several minutes now and again. That bit of disappointment was minor in our overall experience thus I stuck with a 5 star rating. The owner is well aware of the problem and based on other actions he has taken to make/maintain Pelican Point as a first class property I have complete confidence that it will be resolved in a timely manner. I found the owner and his nearby manager most anxious to not only make our stay great but to listen and act on suggestions for future improvements. As a matter of fact a family member is considering the property for an event next season and I would not hesitate to return as well. You'd be hard pressed to find a better property for any family outing.

Six military families started camping in tents 48 years ago. We have progressed to this lovely home on a lake with 7 bedrooms and 8 bath rooms. This is the ideal setup for a group get together. Large spacious kitchen connected to a large living room with plenty of seating to remember the old times together and create new memories. The property has large windows in many of the rooms facing the lake which provide a scenic picture. The property also has smaller screened in rooms facing the lake that can be used for quiet time, small group talks or reading a book. We saw eagles catching fish, ducks swimming around the boat house and fisherman trying their skills along the bank. The property is well maintained and looked after as some members walked the property and enjoyed nature. The pool and hot tub were used and enjoyed. This property has everything you need for a group get together. It could become our permanent reunion spot.
