Amazing location!

Our family spent a week in this lovely condo, and it was perfect. The first floor unit opens to the view you want to see when you come to Hawaii: blue sea, crashing waves, gorgeous sky. The condo was very comfortable with everything we needed: comfortable beds, nice linens, good cookware, sharp knives, and plenty of dishes. The gas grill in the pool area is a bonus. There are also beach chairs, boogie boards, and pool noodles. The location is walkable to shops and dining in Wailua and fairly central to the other parts of the island that we visited. We would happily return here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had plenty of space for our 3-generation family trip. Two bedrooms have window A/C units. The third bedroom stayed comfortable with the window open and the ceiling fan on. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are outdated and have some water damage, but they are clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, cutting boards, large bowls, baking dishes, etc. There is no foil or plastic wrap, but there are some storage containers. There are no spices or condiments other than salt and pepper. There are condo units above, and sometimes our neighbors walked heavily. The pool is very close (can be seen from the lanai), and the path for other guests to get to the pool crosses the yard in front of the lanai. Most of the time, it felt like we had our own front yard right to the beach. The grill is in the pool area and is community use. You can walk down to the small beach, which has a baby pool. We enjoyed the sunrises and the shade in the afternoons. It is very relaxing to sit on the lanai and look out across the yard to the waves.Mahalo!

Amazing Find!

My family and I were looking for either rooms close or a big enough spot to fit 6 of us. This is the perfect spot! Plenty of room for everyone. Easy access to the pool and the ocean. Quick 15 min drive to Lihue (with traffic). Would definitely rent again if we come back to this island

Lani Kai 111 in need of a remodel

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 111 is ground floor with an unbeleivable ocean view. A well manicured lawn is right out the back sliding glass doors. Great layout, 3 bedroom and 3 bathrooms. The interior is pretty much original decor. The entire unit needs to be remodeled. Bathrooms really need to be redone. Tile is dirty, caulking everywhere. Shower floor is heavily stained. You are given rolls of the cheapest toilet paper ever made ( we had to go buy our own) Kitchen has ok amount of pots and pans, but several were falling apart and not safe to cook with.There are no spices/oil/foil/plastic wrap. All they had was salt and pepper👎. Kitchen grout dirty. Unit has rugs that are old and worn. Currently this unit is a 2-3 star. If it was to get remodeled it would be a 5 star!

The place itself was roomy and handled the five of us quite easily. Lots of pots and pans and utensils which allowed us to cook a few meals -- including using the community grill. Also really enjoyed watching the sunrise!

Beautiful spot

This vacation rental was perfect for our stay with our adult children. We loved the location. Beach access and amazing views and having a pool made it so nice. It was absolutely perfect having the 3 bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Couldn't have picked a better spot.

Great little hidden condo

The views were amazing from the deck and pool. The location of the condo was perfect. Lots of shops, restaurants in walking distance. Parking was great and the size of the condo was large. Condo needs some updates and a good deep cleaning. We all enjoyed our stay and appreciated having our own bathroom for each room. Thank you Gloria for all your kindness and help!!

40th in paradise

We originally had another rental in Koloa but wanted to be closer to the beach and boy were we surprised. The pictures do not do this place justice! As you walk out of the back door onto a grassy yard, there is a pool 20 feet and a private walkway down to the back just beyond the pool area. Each morning we could walk out into the grassy area and watch the sunrise with a picturesque view over the water. The condo itself is a little older but the decor and laidback aesthetics really made it such a pleasant stay. The rooms were all good sized and best of all, each one had its own bathroom. We will definitely be back, I highly recommend for those traveling with friends or family. The neighbors were really nice, very chilled and laid back.

It was the perfect spot for two couples and two grandmas and a 16 month old baby who is still crawling (family vacation). The grandmas shared a room and had their own queen beds and bathroom and the two couples each had their own bedroom and bathroom. The baby slept in a walk in closet in one of the bedrooms. We rented a crib, high chair and baby hiking backpack through a baby rental company called Babylicious that was listed on Kauai Vacation Rentals’ app. So everyone had their own space and there was a fully stocked kitchen and large living area and dining room. The best part about Lani Kai 111 is that is on the ground floor with a large lawn out front and an ocean view. We spent all our time outside on the patio as there is a big table to eat on. The lawn was perfect for our baby to crawl around on while the grownups were hanging out. The pool is just to the left and you can very easily access the beach by going through a gate right off the pool. In a few steps your toes are in the ocean. No road to cross. There is an enclosed pool in the ocean just a few steps down made with lava rocks that was perfect for our baby to play in. A short beach walk away (about one complex over) is the Lava Lava Club where you can sit outside and have a strawberry daiquiri and listen to live music. We visited Kauai at the end of April/beginning of May 2021 and the weather was great. Shops were just starting to open up again and there is a whole marketplace within walking distance where the grandmas had fun shopping. You can also walk across the bridge to Lydgate Park and stroll along the water. Good swimming for kids and a big playground. The East Side is a great place to stay because it’s easy to go to the North, South and West sides of the island. Overall I loved loved Lani Kai 111.
