We had a wonderful stay at Gwen’s cabin. the fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs and all of us to relax and look at the little lake. We loved rocking on the front porch and watching the storms roll by. Gwen made an adorable little welcome package for the doggos which was so appreciated. Very hot good pressure shower and everything you need in the kitchen. If i had one suggestion, it would be to upgrade the sofa. We loved it here

Beautiful, cozy cabin on a peaceful lake! Gwen went above and beyond to make us feel welcome ! Fabulous location near many state parks , National forests great for hiking , kayaking and many outdoor adventures. Our pup really enjoyed the fully fenced in backyard.

Loved Gwen’s cozy cabin! She literally had anything you could think of there, if you forgot anything. The lake was peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed kayaking and lighting a fire in the evening. We celebrated our anniversary there and Gwen made it extra special! Our dog loved it there too!

Absolutely amazing!!!

This is now one of my all time favorite places! The property is absolutely gorgeous and soooo relaxing. This came at a time that I needed a refreshing break from everyday life and believe me...it couldn't have been any better! Gwenpaid attention to every small detail and truly made this a trip to remember and most importantly we will do again! If you have the chance to stay at this location...do it! Great Getaway!

The cabin was wonderful! We enjoyed the beautiful lake view while sitting on the porch sipping a glass of wine. We were so happy to be able to have our dogs stay with us. They loved the large fenced yard! There is no negative evidence that any dogs have ever been in the cabin. It is immaculate!! Very nice relaxing getaway.

Peaceful Cabin

Gwen is an incredible host! She had absolutely everything we needed. My husband and I stayed Fourth of July weekend with our two dogs. It was the perfect place to spend the holiday weekend! Very peaceful and little to no fireworks (our dogs are afraid of the noise). Our two year old lab even learned to swim in the lake! The cabin is perfectly decorated and extremely clean. We definitely plan to visit again!

THE MOST PERFECT MOUNTAIN CABIN!!

I cannot say enough about how BEAUTIFUL, PEACEFUL and AMAZING the property and our experience was. Gwen is an spectacular host. We travel with our 2 dogs and are selective to choose the right property to keep them safe. We hit the jackpot! This by far has been our best trip. The quite mornings on the porch, access to canoe and kayaks, fishing and watching the most beautiful FIRE-FLYS in the evenings. This cabin had everything to make our stay convenient and comfortable from a well stocked kitchen, coffee, charcoal and firewood. It was the easiest packing trip we had, allowing us more time with the family. We cannot wait to come back. Thank you Gwen - we made so many memories!

Christmas in the Mountains

The cabin was just as pictured and described. Gwen is a wonderful hostess, and she has equipped the cabin with all of the items needed from kitchen appliances, spices, and utensils. Gwen is a great communicator and checked in with us to make sure we arrived safely.The lake is picturesque and she has a canoe and kayaks. The waterfalls in the area are phenomenal. We couldn’t have picked a better place to relax. Definitely worth a second stay.

Beautiful

Words cannot describe the peace and tranquillity of this property, the property pictures don’t disappoint. The yard and lake are simply perfect! Gwen is very kind and if you forgot it, she has it. Stocked kitchen, bathroom and extra blankets. The radiant flooring is irresistible for warm cozy feet and feel! The porch is perfect for a hot cup of coffee and quite/book while the dog can play around safely in the yard. We loved it !

Sweet and cozy cabin on the lake

Our stay at Gwen‘s cozy cabin was delightful in every way. Gwen was attentive to our every need and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was both comfortable and enjoyable. Our car battery died in the cold weather and Gwen‘s husband Dan came immediately to our rescue so we were able to get on the road home as scheduled. Five star hospitality in all regards! Anniversary getaway

From the moment we walked into the cabin, we felt so welcome. The attention to detail (personal and to quests) is impeccable. From music playing and candlelight to the personalized gift table, shows how much she cares. The cabin was spotless, both inside and out. Pictures do not due this place justice. It is so cozy and is decorated so well. I absolutely loved the decor, especially her hand made metal art, which she sells. (of course we bought one). Such a nice souvenir. And best of all, we were able to take our dogs. The yard is huge and right at the lake, so they could swim. Tired dogs are happy dogs. The view, spectacular. Qwen thought of everything. You never have to leave-but if you do, she has a quest book that has a list of things to do around the area. This place set the bar pretty high. Will definitely go back.

Little slice of mountain heaven!

From the minute we walked into the cabin, we felt welcomed and at home. The lamps and battery candles were on, and the TV was on a music channel. We booked it for me birthday and Gwen had a birthday banner hanging from the bedroom loft. She also had treats for us and our dogs. Her attention to detail was evident throughout the charming cabin. Even had art hanging under the bathroom sink that you can see when soaking in the tub. We will definitely be back!!!

PERFECT!

Gwen’s cabin is perfect, and exactly as described in the listing. It’s like walking out of our house and into someone else’s, with a well equipped kitchen, has everything you could possibly need aside from your own food and drink. This has been THE BEST VRBO we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The special welcoming with a basket of goodies specifically dedicated to my husband and I, as well as special goodies and welcome message for our two pups. đŸ¶ Gwen’s cabin is spacious, comfortable, ( slept so sell ) VERY clean, beautifully decorated, and on the lake. Such a serene setting. The large furnished deck overlooks a gorgeous lawn and lake. Was such fun being able to take our pups and having them safe inside the large fenced lawn. So much to do! Fishing, swimming, canoeing, grilling, and relaxing on the deck. Gwen provides all the gear for these activities! 😎 If you go into the quaint downtown of Brevard, that’s @15 min drive. Loads of shops and restaurants. For outdoor adventures, many places for hiking, fishing, tubing, and photography of gorgeous views @30 min drive. Gwen was great at checking in, and readily available. We are looking forward to returning in the not too distant future 😊

Gorgeous property

Gwen is about the easiest & nicest person to work with. Very friendly and helpful with anything you need. The cabin is beautiful and well stocked with anything you need. The property is clean, the bed is very comfortable and the lake is stunning. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a pet-friendly, beautiful property.

Wonderful anniversary getaway!

My husband and I loved our stay at Gwen’s Cozy Cabin. Gwen is such a wonderful host and went above and beyond. We thoroughly enjoyed our days on the lake and nights by the fire. Would highly recommend Gwen’s place and hope to go back!

Beautiful

This is a lovely cabin. Perfect for the two of us and our dog. Located near lots of hiking and waterfall areas. There is a canoe and kayak available for use on the lake for days that you just want to stay at the cabin. Awesome

Relaxing and Cozy

From the minute you pull up to the cabin it gives you a sense of comfort. When we walked in the overall welcoming charm made you feel like you would not want to leave. The welcome basket and goodies for our dogs speak volumes of Gwen and her desire to make you feel welcome. The cabin is so passionately decorated with love and all the comforts one needs. Clean, and stocked with all the essentials. The view of the lake from the porch is a spot that will be difficult to move from and not want to sit all day and evening. It's so relaxing—a well-stocked lake for catch-and-release fishing. Gwens' metal artwork around the cabin is something everyone should take a look at. We purchased 2 of her metal flag pieces, reminding us of our wonder time. This cabin warrants a return visit which we will do. Gwen thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin and being an outstanding host. We will be planning a return visit!

Cozy Cabin Getaway

We really enjoyed the cabin, the lovely property and nights around the fire pit. It was perfect place for the two of us to stay for a mountain getaway. This was our second vacation at Gwen's cabin and we will definitely be back again soon.
