It was a beautiful place with everything we needed. We walked regularly to different restaurants every night. Felt very safe. Provided water bottles and filtered water system. Would stay there again!

Great location for experiencing Condesa. Easy walk to notable restaurants and other amenities. Close enough to Roma to enjoy there too. Great CDMX experience.

Charming Stay

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this quaint home in a great area in CDMX. The home has a very laid back and casual lived-in feel with plenty of room to spread out and super comfy beds. Andrea was very attentive to our needs and provided a detailed guide to make things easy. All the shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby made our daily strolls so enjoyable. One word of advice is that you keep a tidy kitchen to prevent ants from showing up! We learned that early on and never had another issue. All in all, it was wonderful vacation!

Perfect Mexico City Visit

Andrea was an amazing host with an immaculate property in the beautiful Condesa neighborhood. We cannot say enough great things about our stay and Andrea! She welcomed us on our arrival and checked in frequently with us during our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. She provided us with an extensive handout listing recommendations of things to do, places to see and restaurants to visit. We definitely will be staying here again!

Review

The property was exactly as described by our host, Andrea. It is perfectly located near restaurants, shops, parks, etc. in a busy neighborhood but on a quiet street. Inside the apartment was perfectly quiet. It was beautifully appointed with everything one needs and, in addition, we all loved the decorative plants and artwork. Andrea not only responded almost immediately to all our questions, she checked in with us daily to be sure were doing well. We look forward to staying in the apartment on our next visit to Mexico City.

Lovely Stay in Condesa

My sister, a friend, and I recently stayed at this spacious and comfortable apartment. It is perfectly located on a quiet street in a safe and beautiful neighborhood. We were able to walk or easily Uber to all our destinations. Andrea was a wonderful host who initially supplied a very thorough guide to the apartment and the neighborhood. She also arranged a trip to the ruins with her driver and suggested tour guide. Andrea met us at the apartment when we first arrived and kindly provided a bottle of wine and fresh flowers. She was always communicative and helpful. We were pleased with our choice and would happily stay there again.

Great location but inconvenient for a longer stay

The property does not have laundry facilities in the unit. We stayed for ten days and wanted to do laundry, which required walking up four flights to the roof and using an extremely small washer, then hanging clothes to dry. The unit was very damp. We actually smelt mold in the back rooms. We had tp hang our towels by the space heaters to get them to dry out. Because the unit is on the first floor, it was somewhat dark. YOu can't really open the bedroom blinds because the bedrooms are right at sidewalk level. There is one skylight window in the dining room that provides the only dayloight. That said, the apartment is well equipped, and pleasant. The manager was very helpful and her pamphlet about the apartment and the neighborhood was very useful.

Exceptional Stay for the Whole Family – Highly Recommend!

My family and I had a fantastic stay at this property and cannot recommend it highly enough! The location is perfect—everything we needed was within walking distance, making it easy to explore the vibrant neighborhood together. The host’s hospitality was truly extraordinary, ensuring every detail of our stay was seamless and comfortable. One of the standout features was the warm shower water, available in abundance—a rare and delightful treat in Mexico City. After a long day of sightseeing, it made all the difference. While the beds were a bit firmer than we typically prefer, it was a small detail compared to the overall comfort and quality of the experience. A special shoutout to the host’s driver, Eric—having him pick us up at the airport was a fantastic decision. He was professional, punctual, and made our arrival stress-free. This property is an excellent choice for families, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! Highly recommend!

Great ground-floor apartment in an excellent location, with a super-helpful host

This is a very nicely appointed and comfortable apartment with three bedrooms and two baths (no en suite baths, however). It is on the ground floor, so easy and fast to get out to see the neighborhood or head out for more distant locations via Uber or other transport option. Andrea (our host) was very helpful and attentive, with great suggestions for local restaurants (especially the night we arrived), and letting us know of local events occurring while we were in town. She also checked in occasionally to make sure we found everything we needed and were doing OK. It was also very nice to use her driver, Eric, to pick us up at the airport when we arrived during rush hour. Despite the crazy traffic, Eric was waiting for us as we exited the terminal, and got us comfortably to the apartment without incident. The apartment was very comfortable for the four of us (one couple and two singles), and seemed like it could easily accommodate up to three couples. The apartment has a water filter so that we always had plenty of drinking water, a coffee maker (with a couple days worth of ground coffee), and plenty of dishes, pots, and pans. Also, there was a 7-11 nearby for basic groceries, several cute coffee shops (plus a Starbucks), and cafes just steps away, and an outstanding taco place a couple blocks away. This was our second time in Mexico City, and both times we stayed in excellent VRBOs in the La Condesa neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience in Condesa

We are very pleased with this apartment. It was quiet, clean, comfortable, and we felt very safe. Sophia, the owner was extremely helpful from our time of booking until our departure. Her personal guide that she sends when you book was very helpful for finding stores and restaurants and other locations in the neighborhood. Eric, the driver she recommended, was on time, handled México City traffic like a pro and was very personable. He was an invaluable resource the day we went to Casa Azul and other locations. He also picked us up and returned us to the airport. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Mexico City.

Best VRBO ever!

As a family we have stayed at many VRBO's and this one has been the best by far. Andrea is a wonderful host who responded quickly to any questions. Prior to our arrival she provided an entire information packet with restaurant recommendations, things to do, shopping in the area. Even helpful advice on public transportation, tipping, weather, ATM's/money exchange, etc. The unit was clean, quiet, and is a safe residential neighborhood. Well stocked with coffee, cooking utensils, spices. Throughout the unit Andrea had helpful instructions (how to use the stove, water filter system, etc). Andrea also has an independent driver (Eric). You pay him directly. We used Eric to pick us up at the airport, Xochimilco, and Teotihuacán (Uber was perfect for everything else). He was always on time and definitely recommend him for the airport pickup. We also recommend using the guide Andrea suggested for Teotihuacan whose name is Alejandra. We got so much more out of our Teotihuacan experience by using Alejandra. Finally, Andrea was able to accommodate our request to check in early and check out late. Our stay was absolutely perfect!

Great apartment in an excellent location

This was our first trip to Mexico City and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Sophia was so helpful with preparations and answering questions, the apartment was very clean and nicely appointed, and we loved the Condesa neighborhood. Such a great find!

Amazing stay

We had an incredible stay in CDMX, with Condesa being the perfect neighborhood to call home during our visit. The location was ideal, offering a relaxed atmosphere, full of charming tree lined streets, and a number of delightful cafes and restaurants well within walking distance. What truly made our experience exceptional was our host Sophia. From the moment we arrived, Sophia was incredibly hospitable, providing a space to store our luggage as we arrived before 3pm, and a providing a wealth of information about the area. She was always available to answer any questions we had, making us feel comfortable and at ease throughout our stay. As first-time visitors to CDMX, we had some travel anxiety, but Sophia alleviated our concerns by offering detailed recommendations and tips on navigating throughout the city. She is such an amazing resource, making our exploration of Mexico City smooth and enjoyable. Overall, our stay in Condesa was fantastic, thanks to the amazing location and to Sophia. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Mexico City, especially if you're looking for a welcoming and informative experience.

I am bicultural: an American-born father of Polish parents, and a Mexican mother. Have lived in the U.S. east coast, San Francisco, Paris, and the rest of the time here in MC. Live a 15-minute walk from the apartment. Worked in journalism covering Mexico's politics, economy, social issues for foreign publications, such as TIME magazine in the 80s when it was still a somewhat in-depth analytical magazine. Also worked for The Washington Post, the San Francisco Chronicle, WGBH radio in Boston, among others. For years now have worked as a simultaneous conference interpreter and translator.

Have lived in Condesa for 40 years. It's been amazing to see its transformation, from a purely residential neighborhood to one bustling with shops, restaurants, bars. I love the fact I can forget the car and walk to get anything I need: excellent coffee, French and Spanish cheese, artisanal bread, gourmet goodies, wine, ice cream, the best pastry shop, flowers. Plus, we also have a cobbler, sewing repairs shop , hardware stores, ATMs, pet shops. Parque Mexico, is a jewel a lush green oasis in this city. I would not consider living anywhere else in town.
