TÀmÀ viihtyisÀ kolmen makuuhuoneen, kahden kylpy koti on Cedar aksentti, holvikatot, kattoikkunat, ja suuri lattiasta kattoon kivi puun polttaminen takka, joka lisÀÀ Sunriver tuntea tÀmÀn perÀÀntyÀ. Mukana on myös oma kylpytynnyri ja kahdeksan SHARC-passia!

Rauhallisella alueella Ponderosa-mÀntyjen keskuudessa, tÀmÀ on tÀydellinen paikka rentoutua. Bend on vain 17 mailin pÀÀssÀ, ja Mt. Kandidaattiin pÀÀsee 22 mailin kuljetusmatkalla (pieni maksu).

Katso televisiota lÀmmin tulipalo tai kirjaudu wifi-yhteyteen tarkistaaksesi sÀhköpostin. TÀysi keittiö on hieno kÀyttÀÀ, ja siellÀ on jopa kaasugrilli!

Tilavassa ylÀkerran makuuhuoneessa on queen-vuode ja oma terassi, josta on nÀkymÀ mÀntyihin. Alakerran kuningatar makuuhuoneessa on oma pÀÀsy kylpyammeeseen. Kolmas makuuhuone on myös pÀÀkerroksessa ja siinÀ on kaksi erillistÀ vuodetta. Olohuoneessa on kuningatar-vuodesohva, jonka avulla Awbrey Lane 08 voi nukkua jopa kahdeksan vierasta.

Nice Stay, Good Location for kids

Perfect for a stay in Sun River

Overall, the property was an excellent choice of a place to stay. The decks cold have beed cared for a little more. The downstairs toilette had little head room I banged my head a dozen times. No A/C. Cool enough at night to cool the place however. It was suitable for our group.

Decent little house.

The location was great for little kids. It’s across from the park and in a cup de sac. So the kids could ride bikes in front of the house.

Not maintained, poor customer service

This house has been poorly maintained, and Vacasa did not make good on their promises of assistance. -The dishwasher was broken - a note from a service crew dated July 19 was left in the top rack. The note stated that they were not able to fix it. We checked in to Awbrey Lane 08 on July 28, expecting a dishwasher as advertised. When we called Vacasa, we were told a new dishwasher was on order and would likely be installed toward the end of the following week (long after our departure). No apology, no compensation offered. -The downstairs twin bedroom had no window screen, so the window had to stay closed the entire stay (during a very hot weekend). The screen in the downstairs bathroom is torn, allowing bugs into the unit. -The water heater (housed in a closet in that same unventilated twin bedroom) had been leaking for a long time - long enough to make the floor spongey under the stained carpet. -Without AC, there should be fans at least for each of the three bedrooms, but only two box fans were present for the entire two-storey house. -The downstairs toilet did not flush because of a broken handle/flap-lift mechanism. -There were huge cockroaches that appeared late in the day, climbing the walls and were mostly upstairs. -Ambiguous/inconsistent wording in the fine print in the ad and the confirmation letter led us to believe there would be AC. -When we asked the management group to be moved to a different unit that was fully functional as advertised, we were first told there were no available units. When we told them there were several showing as available online, they agreed to move us, and then we never heard back from them, -With fees, this house cost us $600 per day. No dishwasher, one working toilet (upstairs), roaches, no AC, non-responsive management - I would not use or recommend Vacasa again for any rental property.

Spacious home perfect for extended stay

The home was nice, clean, spacious, and had most everything we needed. Overall would stay again. Price was good, easy check in/check out, and location was convenient with access to shops & Mt. Bachelor. First time staying through Vacasa - they were helpful and friendly. A few odd aspects: one bedroom the light switch didn't turn on the lamp, some of the outlets were squishy (electrical safety!) and plugs didn't stay in, a hatchet would be better for splitting the logs for kindling vs. the axe provided but it worked. This was fine for me (woman, 5') but the downstairs toilet was below the stairs, so for the taller men using that bathroom it was not ideal positioning. Would have appreciated some instructions around the fireplace use and where to find the firewood added to the welcome binder.

Family vacation

The house itself was fine, although there were a few things that could use attention. The shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom is mildewy and needs to be washed or replaced. The bathroom fan did not work upstairs. The selection of bicycles was a bit disappointing as there were only a few older adult coaster bikes. Our kids enjoyed the hot tub, children’s books, TV and Fort Rock park right across the street and the bike paths. We always try to rent a house with SHARC passes because that is the kids’ favorite activity in Sun River. Well our kids were disappointed when we tried to go swimming on Monday afternoon and they were at capacity with a long line wrapped around the parking lot. They were closed Tuesday and Wednesday, and we were leaving Thursday, so I called Vacasa to see if we could borrow the swim passes for a few hours in the morning after we checked out at 10:00 am. We got there 25 minutes before the SHARC opened and the line was so long. We didn’t make it in right away, but we waited in line for 18 people to leave and then got in about 45 minutes later. So we got two hours of swimming in the whole time we were in Sun River. If you are planning on going to the SHARC, be sure to plan ahead and plan your vacation on the days they are open (not open on Tuesdays or Wednesdays) and get there at least 45 minutes to an hour before they open to have a chance at getting in. I have never seen so many people there in all the years we have been going. 😏

This home needs attention

Overall, the location is great and we had a nice time but this home needs attention. The upstairs bath fan was very loud and then stopped working altogether shortly after our arrival. The heater was also very loud and the knob fell off. The shower curtain liner definitely needs to be replaced. The water pressure should be addressed as well - the water shut off halfway through one of my showers. The dryer doesn’t work properly and we believe it’s because the vent needs to be cleaned. The downstairs toilet seat was broken upon arrival. There was food left in the refrigerator. As I’m leaving this review, I discovered that the furniture in the photos don’t even match! Would recommend updating photos and addressing the issues listed above.

Time for an update and cleaning

Our family of four spent part of our holiday break at Sunriver with the intention of relaxing and getting away from home for a few days. Although we enjoyed our time in the Sunriver area and at Mt Bachelor for some skiing, our time at Awbrey Lane 08 did not meet our expectations. Unfortunately the house was not clean upon our arrival and the number of small individual issues described below collectively added up to frustration for all of us on the trip. Examples of maintenance needed include red/purple stains in the carpets (master bedroom upstairs carpet, carpet down the stairs, and carpet in the front downstairs bedroom), spider webs dropping down from the front room ceiling to the fireplace, and a curled up floor rug edge between the sofa and chair that was a tripping hazard. Additionally, we found someone else's underwear in the dryer unit. The furniture is dated and the main living space matching sofa and chair have no seat support making it uncomfortable to sit and difficult to get out of the chair and sofa. An old lamp in the main room had water stains on the lampshade and lamps in the upstairs bedroom and downstairs bedroom did not work. As I said, each of these items is small in isolation, but in combination too much for us to want to return for a future trip. This was our only family vacation for 2020 due to Covid-19 concerns and we tried to make the best of it. Hoping for a better 2021.

Sunriver Scouts

We loved the place. Comfortable and great hot tub. Convenient to enjoy all that Sunriver has to offer. We would stay there again. We were scouting out a group trip to Sunriver next summer and it was a perfect spot to call home base.

Nice place

House was good. Really appreciated the fan upstairs as the a/c didn't do much up there . Only downside was Vacasa, not the property. Wouldn't let us late checkout a half hour .

Fantastic Location and Cozy!

We loved how close this property was to the park.. the short walk made playing outside even easier!! The house was clean and cozy.. the upstairs deck off the bedroom was perfect to sit out and look at the stars.

Cozy and clean!

We loved this home and will likely be back. Inexpensive, clean and cozy. The only funky thing was a little low water pressure but didn't affect much. Thank you for letting us enjoy the home! We loved the décor too.
