Hyvin suosittu itä on keskellä kaikkea, kun pysyt kodikkaassa mökissä! Erinomainen sijainti, kävelymatkan päässä kaupoista, ravintoloista ja järvestä. Shaver Lake on täydellinen paikka loma. Ilmasto on ihanteellinen viileillä kesillä ja leutoilla talvilla. Toimien luetteloon on pitkä ja sisältää, vaellus, kalastus, hiihto, kelkkailua, veneily, moottorikelkkailu, ratsastusta ja enemmän! China Peak hiihtokeskus on vain 30 min ajomatkan päässä mökistä.

Olemme varustaneet mökin modernin lomailijan tarpeisiin. Kaunis uusi parkettilattia koko! Täysin varusteltu keittiö tarjoaa helppokäyttöisen tilan kokata aterian. Hytissä oleva aluslevy ja kuivausrumpu ovat täydellisiä rentouttaville hiihtovaatteille. Viihdetarjonta, kuten taulutelevisio, tarkoittaa, että voit viihtyisällä hyvän videon kanssa takan vieressä! Suuri kannella, jossa on pöytä ja tuolit kesäisin, ja hyvä kupin joe kädessä (ilmainen kahvia ja kuumaa kaakaota tarjotaan tietysti).

Meillä on crockpot, vohvelirauta, ja tasainen grilli loistava pannukakkuja tai crepes! Meillä on mukava peitetty BBQ-alue hiiligrilliin. Sinun täytyy tuoda puuhiiltä. 2 taulutelevisiota, vhs / dvd-kirjastoa ja lautapelejä. Meillä ei ole wifi-yhteyttä. Me löydämme enemmän aikaa nauttia ulkona sen ulkopuolella! On kahvila aivan nurkan takana (5 min kävelymatka), joka tarjoaa ilmaisen WiFi-yhteyden.

Unforgettable Girls' Getaway—Perfect in Every Way!

The Elderberry Retreat was the perfect place for our girls’ trip with 8 cousins! From the moment we booked, our host went above and beyond to make our stay special—including generously offering both early check-in and late checkout, which made our trip so much more relaxed and enjoyable. The cabin is beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The layout was ideal—plenty of room for all of us to gather, while still feeling comfortable and never crowded. We especially loved hanging out on the deck surrounded by trees, cooking big meals together in the kitchen, and playing bocce ball. The location is picturesque—tucked away, yet just a short walk to restaurants and shops. The host’s thoughtful touches and genuine care made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. It’s clear they truly value their guests’ experience. We left with amazing memories—and we’re already talking about making this an annual tradition! Highly recommend The Elderberry Retreat for any group looking for comfort, charm, and a peaceful mountain escape.

5-star Vacation Cabin!

Our long weekend getaway at the Elderberry Cabin was absolutely perfect. My husband and I treated our family to a Shaver Lake vacation, and we had the best time. We’ve stayed at several different places in Shaver over the years, but this cabin was hands-down the nicest. Everything was updated and in perfect working condition—heat, running water, and all the top-notch amenities we could ever need. The views were stunning, location was easy- walking distance to town, and we especially enjoyed some fun exploring the area. A surprise highlight was the bocce court—we had such a great time learning and playing the game together. Just a short, scenic hike away, we found the lake, which was peaceful and serene, providing the rest and relaxation we were craving. We’ve stayed at a few of this host’s other cabins, but this one was immaculate. It truly made for our favorite vacation yet. Thank you to our incredible cabin host—we’ll definitely be back!

Perfect Family Cabin

We stayed at the Elderberry House for a snow weekend with the grandkids. The home was perfect! The check in instructions were helpful, bedding and furniture were comfortable, and the location was perfect. Everything was provided. We will be back.

Great Place

Our family had a wonderful time at this cabin. Jamie was very responsive to any questions we had. It has an extremely well stocked kitchen and plenty of room upstairs for the kids. Since we were there during a heat wave, the A/C did make us comfortable in the afternoons. Plenty of room to park boat trailers. Bocce ball was a very big hit!

Elderberry Retreat

Our family has stayed in the Elderberry Retreat for two winters in a row now and we cannot recommend it enough. The location is great as its an easy walk into the village to restaurants and coffee shops. The cabin itself is great for a family. The kids love the loft and the front yard is large and the perfect place to play in the snow. The host is fantastic and very easy to work with. We cannot wait to return again next winter!

Great cabin!

The Elderberry Retreat is a wonderful cabin. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. The kitchen was well stocked, clean, and overall felt very homey. Located is a quiet neighborhood just down the street from the main road. The Foosball table and games were a big hit.

Lovely Elderberry Retreat

It has cute little touches that enhance the ambiance of the cabin. The Cabin Host provides within the cabine everything you need to enjoy your vacation. We just had to bring our food and clothing and the rest is there. I love that we can walk to town and the lake from the Elderberry Retreat location. This was our second stay in this cute cabin and we'll be back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great cabin for ski weekend with friends/family.

We stayed for a long weekend with 2 families with small kids. Great loft for kids to sleep in with 2 rooms for the adults. Short drive to China Peak. Appreciated all the cooking extras in the kitchen like small appliances, spices, and condiments. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location - Fun Place

A clean, bright cabin-home, filled with fun games including bocce ball, foosball ball, all the necessary things (laundry, kitchen, good beds), plus a bottle of wine. A very relaxing spot and lovely neighborhood. The games were a big plus. We laughed so hard we cried! Highly recommend.

Super Stay in Shaver

Jamie went out of her way to help us book a last minute getaway for New Year's. Shaver was beautiful with the recent snowfall and the Elderberry Retreat was perfect. In a great location with a 5-10 minute walk to restaurants and the pub. There were families sledding all around the neighborhood. Enjoyed the fireplace with hot chocolate every night. Jamie-The Cabin Host manages a number of cabins and I would definitely look at renting one of the others if this one is unavailable for the time you want. Thanks again Jamie!

Updated and well stocked cabin

My family had a wonderful stay at this updated cabin. It is very close to the lake and the main area of town. The cabin is stocked with many items (large pots/pans, spices, wii, movies, foosball, bocce ball) and has an open floor plan for all to gather. I have stayed at many Shaver lake cabins over the years, but this cabin has been the best by far. I hope to rent again next year.

The Perfect Getaway

Such a perfect stay. We had such a wonderful time at this property. Everything is actually as pictured! The home was so cozy and definitely a home we will be returning to. Any questions I had, Jamie was sure to respond within minutes to make sure we had the perfect stay. Such great hosts and such a beautiful home. Thank you Jamie for this perfect getaway!

Comfy cabin

The cabin was so comfortable and had a perfect floor plan! The kids loved the upstairs loft with the games! A little disappointed in the WiFi/cable (not sure) connection to the TV....we were unable to watch a movie all the way through because it kept buffering all the time. But overall the stay was great 👍

Cozy and clean right next to Shaver Lake

This listing was the perfect place for our getaway! Very close proximity to Shaver Lake and the shops in town. We could walk to both. Quiet and warm with the old school fireplace. Can cook s’mores inside the living room. Jamie and her husband were the best hosts who could be reached on my first call. They both checked in to see how things were. Thank you both!

We’ve been coming to Shaver for 30+ years and this by far was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed

We loved our stay and it was a wonderful cabin and Jamie ( the owner) was wonderful! We will definitely be back and look forward to staying here again ! Wonderful trip!!! The bocce ball was awesome too !

Gem in the middle of everything

Beautiful cozy cabin that was great for a family getaway. Everything we needed was provided. Stove in fireplace provided warmth for the whole cabin and was supplied with ample wood we appreciated. Centered in the middle of shaver village, we walked around frequently enjoying the neighborhood and town. We look forward to returning, thank you.
