Ilmava avoin konseptin pääkerroksessa on keittiö, ruokailutila, suuri huone ja suuri Lanai, jossa on ulkokeittiö. Ruokapöydässä on mukavasti majoittua 6 henkeä ja lisäksi 6 lanai-ulkotilaa tai 4 laajaa keittiötilaa. Suuren uskomattoman mukava sohva ja tuoli mahtavassa huoneessa on täydellinen rentoutumiseen pitkän päivän jälkeen, kun hauskaa auringossa! Suuri huone sopii erinomaisesti rentoutumiseen, pelien pelaamiseen, musiikin kuuntelemiseen äänipalkissa, pelin katseluun tai elokuvan rentoutumiseen maksuttomasta NETFLIX- tai Apple TV: stä.

Pääkerroksessa Lanai, varustettu BBQ, ulkona olohuone ja ruokailutila on täydellinen paikka nauttia koko päivän. Jokainen Lanai on sisustettu tyylikkäästi mukavuutesi ja nautintoasi varten. Olitpa juhlia syntymäpäivää, vuosipäivää, uutta työtä, eläkkeelle jäämistä tai yksinkertaisesti juhlia auringonpaistetta, kotimme on varmasti loistava kokemus.

Elegantin, mutta viihtyisän kalustetun kodin rakentamisen jälkeen tunnemme sen usein pienet yllätykset ja mukavuudet, jotka tekevät kaiken eron.

Rakastamme rakentaa todella suuria hiekka linnoja. Kohalan hiekka on tästä poikkeuksellinen, ja meillä on sekä lapsille että aikuisille tarkoitettuja työkaluja. Päiväsi rannalla löydät

• Mukavat rantatuolit, rantamatot, sateenvarjot, hiekkalelut ja hiekkalaatikkolaitteet, lentopallo ja jalkapallo

• Suuri kokoelma snorkkeli-vaihteita monikokoisina, jotta voit jakaa meren ihmeitä

• Boogie-levyt nauttivat pelaamisesta aaltoissa

Nauti kokoelmastamme (aikuiset, nuoret ja lapset, joilla on kypärät ja lukot). KaMilossa oleskelu tarjoaa täyden pääsyn vapaa-ajankeskukseensa, jossa on kuntolaitteita ja useita kylpytynnyrejä ja kierrosta, vapaa-altaat ja lapsi-allas.

Voit myös hyödyntää puhdasta yksityistä rantaklubia, jossa on hengenpelastajat ja Na Pua -ravintola, joka sijaitsee vain kahden kilometrin päässä. Erinomainen snorklaus rauhallisilla vesillä!

Lyhyen ajomatkan päässä on kuusi (6) Havaijin upeimpia rantoja, kuten Beach 69, Hapuna-ranta ja henkeäsalpaava Mauna Kea -ranta.

Kohalan rannikko on golfin paratiisi, jossa on seitsemän (7) haastavaa kurssia, jotka sijaitsevat 7 kilometrin pääss�� huvilastamme.

Not a place I would recommend to any family or friends.

The parking and endless texts regarding how and where to park given we did not have adequate space to park our vehicles. Our refrigerator did not have a working freezer and we ended up with a refrigerator in the garage. I feel the listing did n was not truthful regarding the accommodations. I would not recommend it to my family or friends.

Wonderfully Equipped Home

This home was perfect for our three generation family. It was the best equipped kitchen I have ever experienced. You could prepare and cook a large family thanksgiving or celebratory dinner. Every tool I needed it had. It even had a salad spinner so the owners definitely use it themselves.Sports equipment for all ages in garage, bikes, boards, helmets, life vests, cooler, etc etc.

Family Vacation at Kamila

This was our second time to stay at this same property. Excellent experience again. The property is clean and spacious. It is well stocked with beach amenities as well as equipment for snorkeling. Bikes were available for use as well. The beach club pass is very nice feature as well. Communication with the host for a couple of minor issues was very easy and timely, with any concerns quickly addressed. Will definitely stay here again for our next trip to the big island!

AMAZING property!

We had the best stay at this property. We were there with our large family of 8 kids ( 21, 16, 15, 12, 9, 6, 4, 2) and there was comfortable sleeping arrangements for all of us and my husband and I. I loved having the playpen which we set up in the walk in closet with the baby monitor for the 2 year old. The snorkel gear, life jackets for the littles and bikes were so appreciated. The pool was a delight and the fitness center was used everyday and was just a short 3 minutes walk down the road. Costco delivery was available and super handy. We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone!

Little slice of paradise

Our family vacations annually in Hawaii and we have stayed in the Ka’Milo association before. When others were charging an exorbitant amount for high peak season, this condo was appropriately priced. The location is perfect for what we want to do- beach, swim, snorkel, relax. The community pool is just a few minutes walk away and having access to the private beach club is a huge bonus. The condo was clean and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We cooked most meals there so having a well stocked kitchen was great. Beach towels, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas all provided and in good shape. Bikes were a plus and helpful to get around, although all of the bikes could use a good tune up. With our group of 7, there was plenty of room in the condo to spread out. The beds are clean and comfy and having two of the bedrooms with their own private bath was so nice. The lanai is peaceful with a large table and gas grill to enjoy outdoors meals and morning coffee. I really appreciated the attentiveness of the management company, if I emailed them with a question or concern, they responded within an hour to answer my questions. I would stay here again without hesitation and recommend to others.

A week in paradise.

Our stay on the Big Island will forever be one of our favorite family trips. We were first thinking about staying on a resort. I found this listing and thought that Mauna Lani could be the best (or better) of both worlds - walking distance to a beautiful pool, access to a quieter "private" beach, and lots more space. We loved cooking in the spacious kitchen, enjoying our coffee on the lanai in the morning while listening to the chorus of birds, and the proximity we had to so many things (pool, beach club, Fairmont Orchid, the Auberge, shopping center). I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Scale of 1-10: 7 Maintenance of property below average: holes in walls/ceilings on lower level; exterior obviously meets HOA requirements, but interior shows lack of good periodic investment Interior furniture dated and inadequate for large group use; sitting area needs more chairs, consideration of different layout, lighting inadequate Deck furniture good but cushions need to be replaced as lumbar pillows missing and seat cushions are worn out and uncomfortable Grill broken: starter not functional; knobs don't work ... dangerous; as a result only used one time Ice maker non-functional Dishwasher noisy ... sounds like a grinder operating Kitchen stock: only 2 wine glasses; other items okay Water sports gear ... some items broken; no life jackets etc. provided as stated; periodic review of these items is not adequate TV: directions for accessing Netflix/Apple TV inadequate ... multiple remotes make things difficult to say the least Some promised kitchen ammenities (e.g. popcorn, other minor things) did not exist Nice neighborhood; pools & exercise room are great; access to beach club a big bonus; home property beautiful

Amazing family vacation

My wife and kids had an incredible experience in Hawaii and booking Jeff and Suzanne’s beautiful home in Mauna Lani was the main reason why. Home was large with wonderful accommodations. Location was fantastic, walking distance from a beautiful beach, restaurants, grocery store, shops, golf course, a pool and hot tub. I highly recommend booking Jeff and Suzanne’s villa to anyone with a family looking to visit the Kona area and experience luxury living accommodations.

Super Place for a Vacation on the Big Island

There were nine of us overnighting in the house, including two super seniors and three teenagers. The house is superb for a mini family reunion with enough comfortable bedding and areas for relaxation to accommodate everyone. Kitchen facilities were adequate for preparation and service of various cuisines, although, because we preplanned menus, we did bring in from home our own rolling pin and K-cup coffee maker. [Our primary residence is on the East side of the Big Island so bringing the extras was easy for us.]

Cozy Hawaiian getaway

This house if very cozy. Enough room for my entire family who are all adults. It was nice that there is an additional on suite bathroom on the second room and a lanai on the 3 bedrooms downstairs. It was very comfortable and convenient as far as mostly everything a family needs are available especially in the kitchen. There are minor things that need to be updated. The refrigerator ice maker does not produce enough ice which is so badly needed in a hot, humid day. The lint filter on the clothes dryer needs to be cleaned after each renter leave and there’s some gouging on the wall in one of the bedrooms downstairs.. the shower glasses weren’t cleaned very well and couple of beach chairs are broken.

Fantastic until checking out

This property is great, they sent a book about the big island to help us plan our trip unexpectedly and provided great service while we were there. Then checking out the property manager said the beach key card, $150 to replace, was missing. They said it wasn't in the bowl with the garage door opener and pool key that we verified were there before we left. Luckily our flight wasn't leaving until later in the day so I went back to the house. The cleaners were there and right after I walked in, they says they found the card. None of the cleaners stories lined up. I asked where they found it and they said they didn't know or couldn't remember. The woman who appeared to be the cleaning leader wasn't sure of where it was either but it just miraculously showed up when I walked in. I asked if she had told the property manager yet they found it and they hadn't. It was right in the bowl right where I left it. They said it wasn't in the bowl when they walked in but I know that's a lie. It's physically impossible for them to have found the pool key and garage door opener without finding the beach card in the bowl. This felt like a shady shakedown for $150 that I showed up and called their bluff and they lost. I'm glad it's all resolved now but this has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth after what was a great stay up until this checkout fiasco.

It’s all about the Island View

Our family of 10 had a wonderful time in this well appointed home. Everything we needed for the beach was provided and the gear was in perfect condition. The home is masterfully presented as the perfect VRBO vacation rental. Other VRBOs need to take notes. This is how it is done. The view from the lanai really set this place apart from the many other similar appearing options. We also rented a golf cart from Resortcart which gave us so many options and we had a great experience with them. We will be back.

Beautiful house

We enjoyed an amazing week at this property. The house was gorgeous and very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with basics such as olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. We cooked a lot and I had never used a conduction cooktop before but it was great and we had all the cookware we needed. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner on the lanai outside one night. The pool is huge and a 2 minute walk away, which the kids loved. The house was well-situated to some wonderful beaches a close drive away. There is a full supermarket about a 3 minute drive away which we visited often. It does seem like the community is a little strict. My brother-in-law rented a sprinter van without my knowledge and parked it on the street when I asked him not to. The owner stopped by and was palpably upset since he had received lots of complaints. I felt terrible about it, but luckily he let us know where to park the van. But we really enjoyed this gorgeous house and it made our whole vacation great.

Great Family Home!

Our family of seven really enjoyed our stay at Hawaiian Jewel. The home was well appointed and spacious. The pool area was an amazing oasis. We enjoyed the Beach club and made good use of the beach equipment included in the home. Contact with the management was met with prompt replies and exceptional service. We appreciated the generous offer for late checkout. Clear and comprehensive explanations are provided for all equipment and checkout procedures.

Amazing home!

We loved the house - the location was great, the amenities were wonderful, and the layout was absolutely perfect for our two families traveling together. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to the big island who wants more space and amenities than a resort can offer (the kitchen and individual bedrooms were a BIG PLUS when traveling with kids). We loved it!

Perfect for our family group!

We had a great time staying in your home and visiting the Big Island!! We couldn't believe the weather: 80 degrees everyday and we had to return to -30 in Minnesota! I would give your home 4.5 stars if VRBO allowed that rating! If all goes as planned, we hope to return in 2 years, and will definitely look at your home again!

Comfortable house with access to great beach club.

We surprised my father for his 80th birthday by taking him to the Big Island. The Hawaiian Jewel had plenty of space for all 9 of us. The AC works great, the neighborhood is quiet and, when we had a request for a few things, the staff was attentive. There is construction going on directly across the street from the home but it did not interfere with our stay. The access to the beach club is great! It's a safe beach for snorkeling and the restaurant is really good. You can bring your own cooler and food, but, if you want food and drinks without toting all your own stuff, access to the club makes it easy. That ease comes at a cost but, for us, it was worth it. A great stay!

Best ever

The property is beautifully landscaped and maintained. Amenities are close at hand. We were pleasantly surprised to find that beaches were within a short walk (closer than we expected based on the property description). Aquatic life was abundant and we were able to see sea turtles every day. My granddaughters enjoyed the goats, the cats, lizards, and beautiful birds surrounding the house. The house layout allowed our family of ten to gather as a group when we chose but also had sufficient room to allow for privacy within the various family units when needed. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment for those of us who enjoy cooking for the family. A few quick trips to Costco allowed us to cook many affordable meals without breaking the budget by eating out. The garage is stocked full of fun beach equipment and bikes to allow the active members of the family to enjoy the island’s gorgeous outdoor activities. The management company was very pleasant and accommodating, helping us to extend our stay and giving us a late check out. This is our fourth Hawaiian Island we have visited and the Big Island is now a favorite of many with its varied activities to keep the entire family entertained. Some favorite activities were: deep sea fishing with the Humdinger out of Kona, the nearby black sand beach, the south point and trip to the green beach, driving to the Akaka Falls, a luau, a trip to Hilo, and the La Hoihoi ea festival. My husband is ready to book our next stay!

Impressive

'lovely to sit quietly in the morning and hear the birds and feel the warmth of Hawaii. The bedrooms were spacious, and comfortable. And we even enjoyed the convenience of laundry and drying racks for beach towels and swim-wear. The location to the pool was an easy walk, and the pool and hot -tub were perfect. We LOVED our stay at Hawaiian Jewel. Thanks!

Wouldn't stay with Hawaiin Jewel again

The house was big enough for our party and was a reasonable cost so one star for that. Having snorkel gear, beach towels, floats available for our use gets another star. Would give another half a star if possible because I like that location on the island. However the furniture in the family room was worthless: a small weirdly shaped couch that didn't fit more than 3 people and an uncomfortable chair in the corner; the house sleeps 8 yet there wasn't anyplace for anyone to sit. We were expected to wash our towels, wash our dishes and take out the garbage?!?! Seriously?!?! I paid to stay here not to clean it. I own several vacation rentals and do NOT make my guests do this as I know they are on vacation and not my housekeeping staff. Get more towels to switch out the sets if necessary but don't make guests do your work. Also they were horrible at getting back to me with my request for a late checkout. Would never stay with them again simply for this reason. Owning/managing rentals myself I know that the way they handled this was ridiculous and completely unnecessary. Their communication on it was horrible and the didn't even get back to me until the night before we were leaving even though I had been asking for months . Had even been willing to book an extra day or pay more for the extra couple hours yet they refused to let me know until last minute. Very unprofessional. (If you stay here be aware that their checkout time is 10am which is already on the early side.) Will look elsewhere next time I come to Hawaii
