Paikani on lähellä Ocean Pointia, Boothbayä ja Boothbayn satamaa. Se on erittäin hiljainen ja yksityinen. Se on hyvä pariskunnille, yksin, liikematkailijoille, perheille, lemmikkieläimille. Se muutettiin mökiksi pienellä lisäyksellä, aurinkotuolilla ja kannella. Se on täydellinen keittiö - hummeri ruukut, täysi kylpyamme, pesukone ja kuivaaja ja nukkuu 4. Siellä on wi-fi ja Roku-TV. Ympärillä on laululintuja ja saatat jopa nähdä kiinteistölläsi villi kalkkunoita ja peuroja. Mukava takapiha, jossa grilli ruoanlaittoon. Alueella on useita tekemistä. Voin antaa luettelon. Erinomainen paikka rentoutua päivän tutkittua aluetta.

Disappointed

Although the pictures were pretty accurate we were disappointed with the conditions of this rental. It was not very clean and descriptions were not accurate, for example the screened in porch. It was screened in but smelled very musty and had no decent furniture to sit on. Our biggest disappointed was the house construction 50 yards away. And even though we contacted the owner about not disclosing this before we rented, she continued to not take any responsibility for notifying us. A couple of the mornings starting at 6:30 am there were several lumber and equipment deliveries, at least a half dozen workers yelling and using equipment and music blaring. One morning at 6:15 am the backhoe was picked up by the rental company. This was our vacation. To say that it is “very quiet and private” is not accurate while this construction is going on.

Nice Place to Stay

Nice place to stay at very reasonable rate. Located close to many great places to visit. Comfortable, all appliances worked, dry in the heaviest rain. Surrounded by pretty woods with great wildlife and birds.

Cozy dog-friendly cottage

The property is a cozy cottage in a wooded neighborhood within easy walking distance of the water on both sides of the peninsula on which it is situated. The location is convenient for visiting the entire Boothbay and Boothbay Harbor area. It has two small bedrooms, one full bathroom, a complete kitchen, small dining area, laundry area, and comfortable living room with a large tv and a powerful air conditioning unit. There are also ceiling fans and other fans. The cottage works well for two close couples and two dogs. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Perfect for a family with dogs

We stayed with our two boys (8 & 10) and two dogs. The cottage had everything we could have wanted! We always worry about our kids/dogs bothering people because not everyone enjoys happy shrieks or occasional barking, but the location of this was perfect! Close to everything we wanted and tucked away off the main road and not on top of our neighbors. We hope to return again as we had the best time!!

Boothbay visit

We had a lovely visit. The location of the house is in walking distance to the water. We brought our dog with us and it is a very dog friendly place to stay. The neighbors were very nice and helpful. We will stay here again.

Clean, Quaint, Quiet, Accommodating.

Very nice stay in a secluded quiet wooded area. Yet, not far from neighbors or amenities.I especially liked her accommodating larger dogs. With that being said - I was concerned the home might smell doggy and be full of dog hair. The home and yard were very clean as if dogs never stayed there. We had one small problem. We called her and she addressed the problem right away. I would stay again. I would recommend it to others.

Quiet and cozy

I stayed here for 2 nights with my dogs, and we loved how close it was to multiple Boothbay Nature Preserves. The house is a little outside town, which is great for avoiding the traffic and tourists downtown. Inside, the house was clean and comfortable, although a little older. Wifi was super fast and the quiet neighborhood meant a great night's sleep. We'd come back to stay the next time we visit Maine.

Cozy and Comfortable Home

We very much enjoyed staying at Kathryn's home. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were cozy. The TV was large and great for watching with a toddler on one of the rainy days. We used the kitchen to cook several times and found it to have most of what we needed to prepare our meals. The location was convenient (within 10-20 minutes) of everything we were interested in doing. We even talked to one of the new neighbors and she was very nice and friendly. Kathyrn also left little gifts for my mom, son, and I which was such a thoughtful touch. Just a tip to check out the Botanical Garden in Boothbay, this was my fourth visit to the gardens and they are incredible!

Comfortable Stay

Amble space for our family and dog. Kitchen was well equipped. Distance to town was convenient. Would have appreciated a bit more privacy. Window treatments in the bedroom would be a nice touch. Bed was quite comfortable! Yard was nice, but accessing it through the porch didn’t seem as inviting as it could. A fire pit would be great addition. All in all having a a pet friendly option in a beautiful area was wonderful. We hiked, took in some fresh air, and ate a few whoopie pies!

Very cozy cottage near ocean point

Very clean and in a very quiet neighborhood . The place reminds us of some ones grandmother who lived there . Not very far from ocean point in which you can watch the prettiest sunset . Small land but big enough for two toddlers with a big imagination . All the comforts from home but not at home .

Just what we were looking for!

Property is clean, cute, quiet, and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the host is friendly and accommodating and checked in to make sure everything was going okay, which made us feel very taken care of. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and looking at the stars :) Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Nice quiet get away

This was a great location to get away from the busy downtown area of Boothbay Harbor. Only 10 minutes from town. 1 mile from Ocean Point with great access to walking the ocean. House was cute and clean and Kathy was a great host.

Excellent place to stay/private

This is the perfect get away. I love how the cottage is very spacious & tidy. My two dogs were very comfortable staying there, which made me feel relaxed. Very serene environment. Looking forward to staying again. Thank you Kathryn for being such an excellent host.

Large and secluded house

We enjoyed our month long stay. Most everything was very good except for a few issues. Construction was underway at the next house. It is pretty far away but it detracted from the view. The shower needs to be repaired and the kitchen needs some additional storage containers. The appliances are very nice. We would stay again.

Boothbay Stay

The cottage was in a quiet location and easy to access downtown where the shops are and the boat tours. We enjoyed driving around the point to the pier and hung out watching the waves enjoying wine. We found a lobster pound and cooked them along with corn, so good. As in any rental an explanation on using the tv would be nice. We would rent there again.

You can tell Kathryn takes a lot of pride in maintaining the cleanliness of this property. Communication was a breeze with her. She was responsive for all of our questions. We enjoyed our stay!

The place is clean and very comfortable. Many beautiful and easy hiking trails in vicinity. Our dog has the best time among us all. The host is very communicative and accommodating, we had a great time. To get seafood go to Atlantic Edge , a great seafood market.

Remote but still close to town.

It’s a great little house. Kathryn is a great host and got back to me with answers to questions. The house is at the end of a dead end road. It’s a fantastic location as it’s out Ocean Point Drive so you are close to a very scenic hike. But it’s also only 15 minutes from downtown Boothbay which is great. The house is small…but worked well for my dad and I and my two small dogs. The bathroom could use a bit of updating, but it’s fine and plenty of hot water. The only suggestion is have is to have a small book that gives instructions on the ac/heating system and the tv. It wasn’t very straightforward on how to use them.

I am a mother of 2 and a grandmother of 6. I like to spend time with my family and grandchildren. I love the smell and feel of the ocean air and I like to read at the beach. Ice Cream is the best food in the world!!

I keep my home very clean. Pets are allowed and a nice back yard to have a cookout. It's very quiet. There are lots of birds. You might see wild turkey and deer on the property.

Very close to Ocean point beach. Only one mile away. Home with full kitchen, washer and dryer, 2 bedrooms. Less expensive than many places in the area with the benifit of having access to the whole property and pet friendly. Close to Boothbay Harbor.
