Downeast Seaside Mökit ovat kaksi viehÀttÀvÀ, yhden makuuhuoneen, mökit sijaitsevat Moosabec Reach pieni, Maine kalastajakylÀ. Koruton viehÀtys sekoittuu modernit mukavuudet ja upea nÀköala antaa kÀyttÀjÀlle mukavan vetÀytyÀ hektisessÀ maailmassa. Vuokrat erikseen tai yhdessÀ.

Lupiini Mökki on studio-tyyliin avotoimiston. Primrose Mökki on erillinen makuuhuoneen oleskelutila ja on tehty erillinen listaus. SekÀ rakennettu 1900-luvun alussa KÀsityölÀiskatu tyyliin. Modern LVI ja suodatettua vettÀ lisÀtÀÀn myöhemmin. Uudet katot asetetaan kahteen vuoteen. Varustettu Wi-Fi ja sijaitsee bluffata ylös rannalta. Helppo kÀvellÀ paikalliseen kirjastoon, historiallinen yhteiskunnan ja marina. Helppo ajaa monia kiinnostavia kuten Bar Harbor, Acadia, Schoodic Point, Quoddy Head State Park ja Campobello. Paikallinen vaellus suuri oli Island ja Bar Island ovat kymmenen minuutin ajomatkan.

Cute cottage overlooking the harbor. Great access to Great Wass Island and many other mid-coast towns and hikes. We had a great time and loved watching the boats come in and out of the harbor.

Wonderful vacation

Small, but quaint cottage. Beautiful location and we enjoyed sittimg outside watching the fishing boats. We also enjoyed walking the beach below the cottage searching for shells.

Cozy seaside escape

This was our second visit to the Lupine Cottage. It’s clean, quiet, warm and cozy. The new bathroom renovation makes the space extra comfortable. The host are friendly kind and genuine people. We look forward to future stay with them.

If you want to experience the authentic Maine Coast, this is the place to go. Charming cottage right on the water's edge. This is a working harbor, so you awaken to the sound of the lobster boats leaving at dawn.

Quaint, cute little cottage

Quaint, cute little cottage with beautiful view. 1 room and a bathroom. Bed is somewhat small not really big enough for more than one adult. Small TV with basics where you can play DVDs on the DVD player or stream if you have a laptop and HDMI cable. Bed cover was stained and sheets not on bed. About half hour to 45 minutes away from any food or essentials you might need. Beach not usable for anything like swimming. Would be nicer if cottage were updated eventually.

Beautiful Location

Had a great stay. Property was as advertised. Very simple, and clean with all necessities. Location was stunning and very close to everything I wanted. Extremely quiet. Host was excellent and quick at all communication. Not for someone who wants a vacation with shopping and dining out nearby, but for someone who wants some tranquility and excellent outdoor opportunities, this is it!

Cozy Oceanside retreat

Loved our stay at the cozy Lupine Cottage. Relaxing on the deck and enjoying the view was fantastic. Day trips to Winter Harbor, Bar Harbor, Jasper Beach, Roque Bluffs and Lubec were wonderful. Boat trip from Lubec to see Old Sow Whirlpool, a Finn Whale, seals, a Bald Eagle was fantastic. An of course fresh Lobster from the pier. Life doesn’t get any better. Highly recommend.

A Haven of a Place...

The Lupine Seaside Cottage is a haven... Even if you have never been here before coming through the door you are embraced with a feeling of home. Quiet and relaxing

The cottage has a wonderful view. We loved the area. This cottage would be a great place to buy a bunch of groceries and hunker down for a few days. But also there are many things to do not to far away. We went to Machias and Lubec to explore and also made it to Acadia and Bar Harbor.

Quiet and Cozy

A lovely one-room cottage on the water in Jonesport. Very relaxing and peaceful. Those with mobility issues may have difficulties using the toilet, which is located in a tiny closet (less space than in an airliner). Otherwise, a delightful getaway.

Amazing view right on the ocean!

Such a quaint cozy cabin with an AMAZING view! Easy access to the beach, beautiful sunrises as well as sunsets! Cabin includes "everything needed" for a vacation stay. Short travel to Machia's hot spots (Helen's Restaurant & The French Cellar, Rogues Bluff and Jasper Beach to name a few) All communications with Heather prior to and @ check in were so positive! Heather has a thorough binder highlighting high/low tides/sunrise/sunsetimes and so many places you might want to take a day trip to. My only complaint was I did not book a long enough stay! Can't wait to return next year! I can't thank Heather enough for sharing her little slice of heaven on Maines beautiful coastline! Sharon

Beautiful Oceanside: Off the Grid!

The cottage is right on a short bluff overlooking the harbor. There are stair right to the beach, which is great for beachcombing. We had our 12 year-old son who loved to look for crabs and shells. We watched the lobster boats come and go everyday. There's a small table to sit on the deck and some chairs to take down to the beach. The inside of the cottage is rustic but clean. It had everything we needed. There's a small grocery store about a mile outside of town that has basically everything you need. We drove to Machias (about 30 minutes) and had the most delicious lobster roll at Helen's Restaurant. This was a great day trip. We also packed lunches and hiked Great Wass- again a great day trip. There's a sand beach about 5 miles outside of town that we spent a day at, too. If you like the outdoors, and enjoy a simpler-type vacation, this is a must!

lovely seaside cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at Lupine Cottage. The property was just as described. We walked the little gravel beach each morning with our dog, explored area hiking trails and sand beaches and relaxed in the cozy cottage. Jonesport is "off the beaten path" - very quiet and relaxing.

Cozy waterfront cottage

While weather was not great the cottage was cozy and a welcome retreat after being out and about in foggy, rainy weather. Jonesport is a small fishing town and we were prepared to drive as needed for any activities. Had the weather been nicer we would have enjoyed staying closer and enjoying oceanfront scenery. Anyone staying there should be prepared to drive 30 min in any direction for others sites, restaurants etc., Overall, a nice getaway and Heather was always very responsive to all our questions about our trip.

Two weeks to be near family

I was looking for an easy comfortable space near my son and his family as they welcomed a new baby. The cottage was ideal for one person but would also be great for a couple. Very comfortable and Heather and her dad Ric were helpful on every level. I had my dog with me and we took the stairs down to the beach in front every day. We also discovered many beautiful spots within a short distance. All in all a good spot

Lupine Cottage

Great location and price. Situated on beach property in nice quiet town between Acadia National Park and Campobello International Park. Nice steps to water, but we swam in Rogue Bluffs State Park. There are several nice eateries, but also enjoyed "home"-cooked meals. We didn't miss TV at all - thanks to nice selection of DVDs. Full moon over the ocean was gorgeous! The owners are friendly and very helpful. Cabin was clean and comfy.

A peaceful and quiet place

We had a lovely stay at the Lupine Cottage! It was perfect for us, We enjoyed Jonesport and the surrounding towns. We made it to the wild blueberry festival in Machias, and had a great time. Most of all, we loved the quiet relaxation of the cottage. We would stay here again!

Braden and Heather McCollum bought the cottages in 2011. Originally owned by the McCollum family, they were thrilled to be able to buy them back. When they are not residing next to the cottages during the summer, they reside in North Carolina. They both attended the University of Maine at Machias, and Braden's grandfather was born and raised on the property.

The McCollum Cottages date back to the early 1900's when their used to be around 8 of them. They are situated on a bluff above Moosabec Reach on McCollum Road, overlooking McCollum Beach. Given this history - the McCollums needed to get them back in the family and make them available for others to enjoy again!!
