Weekend with friends

Very comfortable home with nice views and within walking distance from town. Well stocked kitchen and glassware. We very much enjoyed it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Great calming view

We've stayed in Carmel from anywhere between 2 weeks and a month at time for the past 35 years. This house was one of our favorites. Spacious, clean and close enough to town to walk home after a great day shopping. The kitchen had everything you could need. Beds were comfortable and plenty of linens. We would stay again

Perfect peaceful stay!

We came with a group for the AT&T pro-am golf tournament and this was an absolutely perfect respite. Communication with Steven was always prompt and the views to the water from the back porch take your breath away. The location is great - easy walking or quick drive to Carmel and right outside the pebble beach gates. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful Carmel Home

This is a beautiful and incredibly comfortable home in a quiet residential area an easy 20 minute walk to downtown Carmel. The house is well appointed and everyone in our group commented on how comfortable the beds were. We loved the view across the wetlands and saw lots of wildlife from the back patio - deer, birds, frogs. Communication with Steve was seamless as he responded quickly and answered all of our questions. A great stay!

Peaceful

Cozy modern house where we sat and watched the birds, ducks, deer, sunrises, waves and river wildlife. Loved the location for walking to town or beach. Some of the kids rented bikes and rode everywhere. My whole family gave the house and location a thumbs up and we hope to return again soon.

Perfect home, THE location

In Carmel for car week and this home was such a nice place to hang out. Good proximity to all the events, fantastic walking neighborhood, and a nice walk to Ocean avenue restaurants and shops. Best of all, the view inside and out are great. The home has everything we needed as far as cooking tools and laundry. Loved it!

Great views and location

This house is unique in that it offers both wonderful coastal views and a 20 mins walk to the plethora of restaurants in Carmel. The house is well maintained with a large deck and central open area. Kitchen and bathroom are in excellent condition. House was spotless.

Beautiful home! Perfect location!

Beautiful home in a quiet serene location overlooking the meadows surrounding Carmel River Beach. Lots of wildlife to check out-we had a family of deer within a few feet of the deck many mornings and evenings. House is well appointed and has everything you need. We will be back!

Clean and beautiful home

Everyone loved the home - it is located just in front of the wetlands which lead to the beach and the view is lovely and the outdoor space makes it easy to enjoy it. The house is very well appointed with everything we needed. The three bedrooms are all ensuite and all are very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking. All in all a great house and a great stay!

Perfect Carmel House!

We were two couples and all fell in love with this house--very comfortable and well done. The view and location is amazing, Carmel River beach is 5 min walk away and then can walk along the entire shoreline of Carmel, everyday was more beautiful than the day before. I have already recommended this house to numerous friends and will rent again next time in Carmel.

Fabulous views!

The perfect house for our family over 4th of July! Fantastic views, gourmet kitchen, lots of places to relax or play games, have an evening cocktail and conversation. Designer decor and beautiful courtyard with wonderful gardens. The teenagers loved having their own private space above the garage too!! We’ve rented here multiple times and will definitely be back again❤️

Beautiful house in a stunning location

The house was wonderful for our family visit to carmel with 4 adults and 3 kids. The location is just amazing and we so enjoyed bird watching and seeing deer from the deck as well as a watching the waves crashing in the bay. The house was well stocked and we cooked dinner several nights as well as walking into restaurants in town. Visiting the redwoods 45 mins north in Henry Collins Park, whale watching and the aquarium in Monterey, hiking Point Lobos and and playing on Carmel’s beautiful beaches were all highlights. We loved our stay and particularly loved the house and it’s gorgeous location.

Big Sur 11-miler Weekend

Carmel Modern Hacienda was the perfect place for three couples to spend a long weekend. The house is beautiful and exactly as pictured online. House had all amenities needed and beds were super comfortable. Amazing views from the deck of Point Lobos and Carmel River Beach. The interior courtyard is the perfect spot to recap the day with friends. The location is amazing and in a great neighborhood. Can walk the scenic drive route to experience some amazing beaches and coastal views and walkable to town and Mission Ranch. We had an amazing time and didn’t want to leave!

Stunning home and family friendly!

This is truly a stunning home and we could have spent our entire vacation being homebodies, but the location was also incredibly convenient. Walkable to the beach and downtown Carmel. The highlight of our stay was that the house was also very toddler friendly. There were high chairs, a Keenz beach wagon, a baby carrier for hiking and extra twin mattresses. To our toddler's delight - we were greeted periodically by deer in the backyard and sheep feeding nearby in the morning. We cannot wait for our next stay at the house!

Great House

The house was in a perfect location!! The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. Great to have plenty of towels, kids games for all ages and utensils to cook at home. We did not have really young children with us but if you did they have plenty of toddler items to use. We Really appreciated the items that we could use at the beach….sun umbrella tent, beach chairs, towels etc. Thanks for helping our family of 4 make wonderful memories!!! We would definitely come back again:)

Perfect Cozy House

This rental was perfect in every way. After being evacuated from our house during the Camel Fire In August 2020 and then again getting evacuated from a hotel in the valley we decided to rent this house. We felt very at home and cozy. The rental came equipped with everything we needed and more. The bed and pillows were so comfortable I ordered the same pillows on amazon while staying there. The location was perfect, we had the crossroads right around the corner and downtown Carmel for lots of restaurant options. My kids also loved being able to go onto the school campus and play everyday. Plus the beach was a few blocks away. We loved our week there and highly recommend staying there.
