Sijaitsee Ranch Store Centerissä kauniissa keskustassa Oracle AZ, vain 30 mailia pohjoiseen Tucson ja 10 astetta jäähdytin.

Sherman Cottage on erinomainen paikka päästä eroon kaupungin lämpöstä ja liikenteestä. Tämä yhden makuuhuoneen mökki kuuluu täysin varusteltu keittiö, kylpyamme ja hiljainen takana patio. Kun makuuhuoneessa on queen-vuode ja mökissä ylimääräinen twin, se nukkuu 3 hengelle erittäin mukavasti.
Tämä on inspiroiva paikka kirjailijoille ja taiteilijoille päästä pois ja saada inspiraatiota. Hiljainen ja rauhallinen ympäristö odottaa niitä, jotka haluavat päästä pois kaikesta.

Olemme vain muutaman minuutin päässä biosfääristä 2, Oracle State Parkista, 3C Ranchista, Rancho Roblesista ja Arizonan ZipLine-seikkailusta.

Ajo-ohjeet: Tucsonista päähän Oracle Rd: n pohjoispuolella, mene Catalinan ja Oracle Junctionin kautta Oracleiin (noin 9 km: n päässä Owyn risteyksestä Hwy 77). Ota Oracle pois käytöstä, josta tulee American Ave. Mene 2 mailia 1015 wattia. American Ave. Käänny oikealle Ranch Store Centeriin.

Phoenixista pääset 60 itään Firenzeen. Ota Hwy 79 Oraclen rinteelle. Siirry vasemmalle Oraclelle noin 9 kilometriä ylöspäin Hwy 77. Ota Oracle pois käytöstä, josta tulee American Ave. Mene 2 mailia 1015 W American Ave.

Cute cottage

We liked staying in this cozy sweet cottage. It is very quiet, so restful. The bed was very comfortable!!The hosts are great! Coffee and snacks are plentiful. We would stay again!

Cozy haven in central Oracle

I had a lovely, peaceful stay here. The location was very near my activities in Oracle, right on the main road. It was a breeze getting everywhere I needed to go. At the end of each day, I would return to my cozy bed. I had everything I needed and was comfortable. Communicating was easy, and the host was nice. I would definitely stay here again!

We had an awesome experience staying at Sue’s little cottage. She was a very wonderful host. The place was perfect for a couple. Sue provided us with everything we needed. The establishment next door of the antiques/unique stuff was awesome. We definitely plan to come back. 😀

A little piece of heaven

I was in Oracle for work and found this little gem. My co-worker and I stayed at Sue's cottage for four nights and we couldn't have been happier. We had long days and it was so nice to come back to a quiet and comfortable place to relax. Our only regret is we didn't get to meet Sue or explore the area around the cottage. Hopefully next year when we're back.

I just spent 2 weeks at this property and was very disappointed. The property is very old and run down, there is no furnace in it and is heated with two electric heaters that didn't do the job. It was very cold and had snow one day. I ended up going to the urgent care with a bad cold that was the result of not enough heat at nite. The bathtub has porcelain missing around the drain that is not very sanitary. There is no Smoke detector in the house. The oven in the stove wouldn't light and we never had WIFI the entire time there as promised by Sue. There was left over open food in the fridge and cupboard. I would not recommend this house to anyone.

Lovely spot, and Sue always fills the fridge with my preferred beverages and snacks. I attended the Rammed Earth Construction Workshop. The location is within 10 minutes of my class.

Quirky, fun, pleasant experience...

It's kind of a strange environment... loaded with quirky old stuff... but, fun. Cottage is crude looking from outside but, very nice and clean inside... well stocked with most anything needed. We really enjoyed staying here and want to return soon for the Wednesday evening party time. The long time owners (Jerry and Sue) are very friendly and excellent hosts. We think most folk would enjoy staying in their Sherman Cottage... and, in the scenic mountain foothills village of Oracle... just a few miles from the famous Biosphere... near a very interesting Zipline complex... beautiful Peppersauce Canyon... and less than an hour from Tucson.

Great spot for a getaway!

I was looking for a place to get out of the city and get in a few days of writing, and this was perfect! Sue was a fantastic hostess, and I was able to write with minimal distractions (there is no wi-fi and no TV, and cell service is limited), but when I needed a break the property had two consignment shops, an onsite store for the lavender farm next door, and even a stand selling coffee, made-to-order omelets, and really tasty chili. Just down the street there is a great little market with a pretty good selection of gourmet foods, including gluten-free options and an Italian deli. The apartment itself was roomy and well-decorated, with a full kitchen, comfortable bed (and two twin beds I did not try), furniture that was both sturdy and cozy, and a cool back patio where butterflies and hummingbirds, and the occasional hoot of an owl, fueled my creativity. I am already making plans to visit again with my husband (or maybe just a couple of friends!).

Cozy Cottage perfect for our needs

We needed something small, and comfortable and with a central location between Tucson and Mammoth. This little cottage was Everything that was advertised and then some. You’ll come home to a nice cool cottage, warm cozy fireplace heaters, the most comfortable bed, and most importantly peace and quiet. There is no WiFi and the cell service is spotty but that was perfect for the end of our busy days. Sue Is so kind and just a text away or there in the morning working in the most adorable antique shop. Next time I’m bringing an empty suitcase to load up on antiques! We were able to book last minute and everything was so easy and smooth. Will definitely be staying again next time we fly down from Alaska to visit.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable and quiet.

The cottage is very cute , has all the necessary amenities. Enjoyed sitting outside front and back porch, especially in the mornings and evenings. It is about 10 degrees cooler there than in the city. Oracle State Park and Mt. Lemmon nearby.

Very friendly & generous hostess. Comfy & well-equipped

This cottage was all that we needed. Cottage was clean and well equipped, including washer & drier. Sue was a gracious & generous host, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, bagels, & cream cheese were waiting for us to get started. There is no TV in the cottage but we didn't miss it, can get adequate news on WiFi. Close enough to Tucson to enjoy activities in the city. Very near to Biosphere 2. In Oracle, the Oracle Inn has delicious food, and the Ore House pub was fun. Lupes Restaurant at the junction of AZ 77 & 79 has excellent Mexican fare. Good golf courses are nearby.

Perfect place to get away, study and write

Loved my time at the Hidden Getaway! It's a great place to get away from the distractions we face daily and get some focused work done while being close to all that you need in town. I was welcomed in by Sue at their trading post. She made everything easy and available for me. If I had a question her or her son were available to answer at any time. Comfortable house, amazing location, great host!

This house is so cute! And spacious! The kitchen has everything you might need. The beds are comfy. We really loved the back patio with string lights. It's set in a quirky old west feeling atmosphere that really made the place special. Highly recommend renting this place! Absolutely no complaints and would love to come back!
