Meillä Chester County farmstead, tarjoamme 2 makuuhuonetta, joissa jokaisessa on oma kylpyhuone. Täyden palvelun keittiö ja ruokailutila / olohuone antaa paljon vaihtoehtoja. Kotitekoinen hilloa ja leipää, mysliä, maatilan tuoreet munat, paikallinen maito, ja runsaasti hedelmiä tarjotaan tai aamiaista.
Uskomme raitista ilmaa, joten tarjoamme sinulle erilaisia ulos ovesta pelejä (kroketti, sulkapallo, lentopallo, koripallo, yms.) Alue on hyvin kävelee, vaellus, ja pyöräily.

The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean. Our hosts were friendly and available, and very accommodating. We would happily stay here again and again.

Relaxing getaway

This cozy apartment is a peaceful retreat. The host was very welcoming, even leaving homemade bread and jam for breakfast. I would suggest bringing a laptop as there is no television. It is out in the country but just minutes away from many attractions. This getaway was what we needed to completely relax

Hard Rock Homestead

We had a wonderful time starting with a vase full of fresh cut flowers. The homemade bread and jam were delicious and the eggs, butter and juice made for a great breakfast. The place was clean and nicely decorated. We’d stay here again.

Breath of Fresh Air

We had a quick trip this weekend to take my MIL to Sight and Sound in nearby Lancaster. It was my husband, teenage son and MIL. We had plenty of room, it was impeccably clean, the fresh bread, milk, eggs, homemade jam and juice was amazing and it was stocked very well with little things you might need for your stay. It was so peaceful and quiet and comfortable! My only regret is not being able to stay a little longer!

Peaceful Getaway

We absolutely loved how beautiful the property is, how clean and refreshing everything was for us, and how sweet it was to spend some time with Tara and Sophie! The jam, bread, milk, and eggs were a blessing. We will be back...and for a longer weekend! We highly recommend.

Country living

Our family had an amazing stay in the country surrounded by trees. There’s cows chickens and 2 beautiful dogs you can visit with. The host and their family were very lovely and thoughtful and even invited us to play pickle ball with them. Wonderful stay and we hope to visit again when we’re in the area.

Wonderful!

My wife and I stayed with our adult children and had a great time. It's a beautiful, peaceful place and Elvin and Dorothy are wonderful hosts! One highlight was smores by the fire pit. The home made bread and jam was a nice touch, along with farm fresh eggs and milk.

We had a wonderful stay. Hosts were awesome and friendly. The rental was tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. The farm items for breakfast were enjoyed by all of us. It is a small world sometimes as host was from our part of the country😀

Great country get away

We loved our weekend! The kids had a blast playing in the yard, playing with the friendliest dogs, and watching the cows. The apartment was clean and cozy and the hospitality was above and beyond...delicious homemade bread, jam, and cookies, plus farm fresh milk and eggs for breakfast!!

Pleasant Place

We enjoyed our time together in this pleasant apartment over the garage. Granddaughters enjoyed the giant tub and we all enjoyed the fresh eggs, milk, juice and homemade bread. Very yummy. We could hear noises from the garage but it didn’t bother us too much. The greeter dogs were fun so we appreciated seeing them. Overall the place fit our needs and was comfy to come back to after a long day visiting places.

So peaceful!

We stayed in this attached apartment in early October on a short get-away. The apartment was clean and inviting, and the owner provided both breakfast foods and a welcome basket. We visited the Strasburg Railroad, the Rairoad Museum of PA, and the Landis Valley Village and Farm Museum on our trip, all of which we would recommend to any fellow history buffs. After a day of sightseeing through the beautiful countryside, it was nice to return to this little farm oasis.

Lovely Setting

A beautifully maintained property on a pristine and secluded location. Some lovely touches from the host (fresh eggs, milk, jam and bread), along with their friendly pets (3 dogs and a cat). Know that this is basically a two bedroom/two bath apartment above an adjoining garage, so in some way you will "part of the family," which has its good points (a helpful and friendly family right next door), and perhaps not as good as with any adjoining units some noise can come through the walls. Still, much better than a hotel, and you will be well cared for and have much bucolic, peaceful scenery to take in.

Getaway Experience

We had such a great time on an amazingly neat farm. The check in was very easy, Dorothy and Elvin were very welcoming and friendly. There was freshly baked bread, milk, eggs, jam and juice along with coffee already in the kitchen. The entire apartment was really neat, two bedrooms, one has jetted tub, and there are two bathrooms, one inside each bedroom. The kids played with all three dogs and the cat, there were two cows nearby and horses as well, with several chickens, all within sight. We enjoyed every minute by the fire pit, played on the trampoline, took naps on the hammock and the two swings. Later on, we played pickleball with Elvin and his son Alex. Thank you Dorothy and Elvin.

The worst thing about it? We couldn't stay longer.

Our goal was an overnight stay with peace and quiet, and this fit the bill nicely. The apartment is nicely separated from the main house in a nice rural neighborhood. Pleasant views from all windows; we enjoyed our visits with the dogs, cats and farm animals. The hosts offer some extra special touches that you don't normally find at such rentals. The location is an easy detour off of PA10. We suggest the BBQ/bakery not far down the road. As for us, chances are good we'll be back.

Nice Stay!

The property owners were very pleasant to work with & responded back to messages in a timely manner. This property was very clean & stocked very well with dishes to cook with, foods, etc. The only thing that concerned us is the flight of stairs up since we were traveling with someone who doesn't do well with a lot of stairs. We seen nothing to indicate there was a flight of stairs. We enjoyed the space & property very much as we toured the area. We would definitely recommend it to others.

Lovely property

Positives: beautiful property with farm animals to watch, and dog's to play with. Apartment is quaint, and well stocked with utensils, dishes, pans, and coffee supplies. We did have fresh eggs, milk, homemade bread and jam which were delicious (no fruit or granola) having 2 bathrooms was great. Not far from small cities to enjoy restaurants, shops etc. The owners were friendly and welcoming, as well as their son. Plenty of extra pillows, bedding and towels. Beautiful paint scheme, and artwork. As well as many family games and books. Cons: We were not aware that this was an upstairs apartment that is also above a garage. Thus you hear and feel the door when they open and close it. Also, the second room is across the hall with the second bathroom. There is a 3rd door that is locked leading to the owners home. The listing needs to be updated as they did not have a ping ping or pool table. Also, the family lives on the property so we were not able to use the fire pit advertised when we wished, being it was later in the evening. This sleeps 6, because there are twin mattresses under the queen beds. The kitchen however does not seat 6 unless you eat on the couch.

Relaxing Getaway

We brought our two granddaughters here for two days. They loved being away! They loved having their own room and slept well. Alec the young son of the Stoltfus’s was very friendly and hospitable! He gave the girls rides on his pony Sadie - hooked up the cart to the pony and was very responsible to make sure they were safe. There are a couple dogs and one cat that stay outside that are very friendly. The apartment was immaculately clean! The fresh milk, eggs, fruit, homemade bread and jam were a welcome treat! The outside grounds were beautifully landscaped! There were a couple negatives to keep in mind if renting - since this is an apartment above garage - there are a lot of steps to climb. If you are older or have health issues, that may be a problem. Also it is above garage, so when garage door opens in early morning, it is very loud. There is no TV or DVD player- so if that was an issue bring games etc. to entertain kids. When booking this rental - it was advertised on VRBO as 116. A night. By the time you complete the booking charges are added for insurance, cleaning, service fee etc. So two nights ended up closer to 400.00! As much as we enjoyed this place - that was too much for us to pay for two nights.
