Tämä koti on perheen, ryhmän, ja lapsi ystävällinen kotiin. Se on metsäinen 4 hehtaarin yksityinen asetus. Pine Creek järvi on ei herätä järvi soveltuu kalastukseen, melonta ja melonta, myös luistelu jos järvi jäätyy talvella. On kaksi kajakkeja ja kanootti omaan käyttöön, meillä on myös joitakin pelastusliivejä. Tämä ei ole hyvä järvi uimiseen. Koti on makuuhuone täysikokoinen kylpyamme (Queen size) ylätasanteella parvi, joka voidaan käyttää oleskelualue tai molemmat tuolit vetää ulos erillistä vuodetta ylimääräisiä nukkumatilaa. Pääkerros on 2 vierashuonetta (Queen size vuodetta), olohuone iso tv, ruokasali, keittiö, täysikokoinen sauna ja pesutupa. Kaikki huoneet on sisustettu Amish tehty tukkihyllyjen, yöpöytää, ja keittiökaapit. Kellarissa on puoli kylpyamme ja avoin tila, joka voi olla hyvä paikka lasten leikkiä. (Olemme tällä hetkellä remodeling kellarissa). Siinä on queen-size-vuode ja parivuode.
On 3 televisiota: yksi olohuoneessa ja toinen kellarissa sekä satelliitti-tv DVD / Blueray-soittimella ja muutamia DVD-levyjä. Makuuhuoneessa on tv, mutta se toimii vain net flicks joka tarjoamme myös. Emme tarjota internet.
Täysin varusteltu keittiö sisältää liesi, jääkaappi, mikroaaltouuni, astioita, astiat, lasit, astiat, Kuerig kahvinkeitin, leivänpaahdin ja muut keittiö olennaiseen tehdä sinusta tuntuu kotona.

In town for a wedding with our adult children. Home was truly a pleasant surprise, exceeded expectations with many nice touches. Extremely clean, very well equipped kitchen. The back deck was a perfect place to enjoy our morning coffee, we wish we’d had more time to explore the property. Very good value for a group!

This home worked our beautifully for our family in town for a wedding. Everything was as described in the listing and the owner was quick to assist with a very minor issue we experienced. Coffee maker was SUPER slow and getting all the towels washed and dried before the 11:00 check out time is a bit of a lift for a large group. Overall a very nice property and we would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Beautiful house and property but as a fisherman very dissapointed in the "lake". It was more of a mud and lilly pad cove with a tiny bit of water. Very unfishable.

Enchanted Chalet

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Enchanted Chalet. The house and property are truly beautiful and unique. Plenty of room for five of us. Well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the hot tub, the walking trails, the canoe and kayaks. Caught some fish. Saw lots of wildlife. Enjoyed the fire pit and made S’mores. Great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend.

Relaxing stay.

We booked this due to a family get together in Kalamazoo. The house is stocked with basic needs, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo and conditioner. We really enjoyed the kayaks. The pond/lake is not appropriate for swimming, but this is stated in the listing. We enjoyed the wildlife on the pond and the grands had a ball seeing chipmunks and various bird species. Beds were very comfortable. Only draw back that was not expected is that we were expected to wash all sheets and towels. We were told it was ok to leave them in the dryer, but this was a lot of work and we got out of the house later than we wanted. Overall though, wonderful stay.

It’s a beautiful quiet private peaceful location. Was unable to use the dishwasher the flap where the soap goes was broken. Which for us it was a minor thing. Still highly recommend staying at this property.

Peaceful Business

We stayed at this property as part of a business trip. The house is in a very peaceful location to j wind at the end of a busy day. Our only complaint was the wifi, which was spotty. In communication with the property owner the issue was most likely the storm system that went through.Thank you for your hospitality!

Birthday weekend get away

We enjoyed the water front property and went out in the canoe twice. The hot tub was a hit with the children and the basement tv as well. Our beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We had a campfire one night and made smores. If you go, the Air Zoo was an amazing museum and worth the short drive from the house. Hosts were responsive and were welcoming. We did have a small problem getting sheets to dry and then the towels. You do need to plan ahead for your check out day as all bedding and towels need to be washed and most of it dried before you leave. You can leave one load drying in the dryer but we were rushing to finish to get out for obligations we had at home.Would still recommend this home to anyone. Great place to stay!

Quick trip

We had a a two night stay at this location. We picked it to fit our family of 5 and a few other friends as we were attending the state wrestling meet in Kalamazoo. We also chose it because of the hot tub feature. The house was nearly fully stocked with whatbone might need and the owners were very responsive.

Spacious, outdoor hot tub, and only 5 minutes from Bittersweet Ski hill. It's also only 10 minutes from Plainwell where there are plenty of restaurants and big box stores.

We had lots of fun here. We wish we didn’t have to leave the property to go skiing it was so much fun and had tons to offer. Conveniently located near Ski resort!

We visited over winter break for a last minute ski trip at Bittersweet. We were lucky to find good snow and be able to squeeze the ski trip in but, couldn’t have been luckier to find a nice house that is clean, comfortable, and located incredibly close to the ski resort! 3 minute drive, we’ll take it! The hosts provide plenty of household amenities and then some. Kitchen fully stocked with cookware, utensils, etc, bath towels, beach towels, linens. The ONLY thing I did not like was that I was informed after my booking was confirmed that we had to wash,dry, fold and put away all towels, wash sheets and start them in the dryer before checkout. For the first time ever, our group (with kids) was able to keep up so we weren’t scrambling to be out by 11am. I will say, if we were not seasoned in traveling/ staying in vacation homes with multiple families, this checkout procedure would have been extremely stressful for us. It wasn’t too bad since we were mindful of what we used and stayed on top of it, though. Back to the good stuff… We took advantage of the trails and did a little snowy night adventure with the kids. We had flashlights but couldn’t really find anything on the scavenger hunt list because it was dark and snow covered but still enjoyed the stroll and spotting wildlife tracks in the snow! The hot tub was a treat after our chilly outdoor activities.I bet summer is a lot of fun here too! Lots of outdoor fun and games provided as well. We will definitely be back!

Excellent Winter Ladies Weekend

Stayed during a lake effect snow storm in early December 2024 - the four of us ladies had a lovely time at the property. Plenty of space and we loved the atmosphere of the fireplace, especially in the evenings. The hot tub was fun in the snow. Excellent communication with the host regarding snow removal.

Short but sweet

The house has many extra features that most places don’t. The garage was full of outdoor games and activities, along with multiple grills. We didn’t use any, but still worth mentioning. We had hoped to kayak, but the water was too low to use the dock. One feature that I required in my search was a hot tub. We were disappointed that only one set of jets worked properly and so we had to take turns sitting in that spot. Also, the water was very cloudy. We added the granules as instructed. The house was large and comfortable. However, I would have to say had I known up front - that we had to make our own beds and had to wash the bedding and towels before we left …I probably would have passed on the house. This information should’ve been stated in the description clearly. Definitely not used to that and not a big fan. Additionally, we were a bit surprised by how filthy the windows were. I’m sure it’s hard to keep them clean in a more wooded area as this, but clearly they had not been cleaned for months or more. Even with the unfortunate hot tub, dirty windows and washing bedding and towels surprise…we still enjoyed the place and would recommend it. The owners could make the place top notch with a few adjustments. It’s a beautiful location for sure.

We are Greg & Melissa Rough. We live in Michigan. Greg has his own business and I work at a school. We met in 2010 and soon realized we were meant to spend our lives together. In 2012, we married and merged our beautiful family together. We love to have fun and spend time with family and friends.

We fell in love with the this home the moment we roamed the property. There were more than 30 swans on the lake. We were surprised by the many paths going through the woods and the stone edging along the trails by the lake. I love to play volleyball and they had an area designated specifically for volleyball.

We are one mile away from Bittersweet Ski Resort and 10 minutes away from Timber Ridge Ski Resort. Kalamazoo is less than 20 minutes away. Our favorite winery is Fenn Valley and it is about 20 minutes away.
