Passeig de Gracia on tasokkaimmat Avenue Barcelonan parhaat kaupat ja Gaudin rakennuksia = Casa Batlló ja La Pedrera ovat samassa avenue. Vain sekunnin päässä Plaza Catalunya ja siksi kahden minuutin kävelymatkan päässä Las Ramblas ja Gothic Quarter. Passeig de Gracia on tietenkin kuuluisa Gaudin rakennukset, Casa Batlló ja La Pedrera PLUS kaikki parhaat kauppoja kaupungissa !! Kaikki sisällä kirjaimellisesti minuutin Studio. Sijainti ei voisi olla bettered.

Lovely stay!

We loved the spacious apartment in the heart of Barcelona! Comfy bed. Great views. Friendly host! Having come from USA the streets were different but we figured everything out. Thanks for meeting us at the front of the building! We only stayed a couple days but would have wished we stayed longer. If you not sure if you should book here— please do! You won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful place right in the heart of things...

The stay was splendid, and flat is just the best. Perfect location, and remarkably quiet for the potential noise level outside. It obviously has good double-insulated windows for an "antique" building! We loved the mattress and pillows, as well as the plush towels -- a very nice touch.

Great location,

This was a wonderful studio apt with an elevator and a doorman. Hercules was a darling. The apt is in the heart of Barcelona and we could easily walk to many attractions. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Second Stay at a Great Place

Nice flat at best location to explore Barcelona. Aerobus stop to and from CDG airport less than five minutes from door. Metro stop just outside door. Right at Placa Catalunya, the center of things. I foolishly locked items in the flat when we left and the caretaker responded within five minutes to retrieve them. If it wasn't a great place, we would not have come a second time.

Lovely apartment in Barcelona

A lovely apartment in the most convenient of locations in Barcelona! My spouse and I were able to use it as an enjoyable base to explore everything and every site that the spectacular city of Barcelona has to offer. Even the views from the apartment with its large windows were beautiful too, both in the morning and in the evening. A nice breeze came through at night.

Wonderful stay at the heart of the city

Our time on Barcelona was only enhanced by Derek's beautiful property. As soon as we entered, we were delighted by the views and amenities the space offered. Most importantly, this location was absolutely ideal for the activities we had planned in the area, including our Flamenco show right next door and our nearby bike tour we had the following morning. We also learned later that this particular area of Barcelona is known to be one of the most sought after residential districts in the city, which made us feel more special to have stayed. I would highly recommend you book this spot if there is any availability! Thank you for everything, Derek!

Perfect location in Barcelona

My flights were delayed and my suitcase was lost, but in spite of my travel issues, Derek and Hercules were extremely patient and kind with my later than expected arrival! Communication with them was great and helpful. The apartment itself was extremely clean. The building was easy to find, especially with Derek’s recommendation for travel from the airport. There’s plenty of shopping, restaurants, and entertainment within a very short walking distance of the building. I’d definitely stay here again!

Nice stay in the Action

The apt is located well in the heart of shopping, food and attractions. Taxi stand very close for further needs. We walked everywhere. It is a very busy street but quiet at night which is nice. Apt is well equipped and like ve having a washing machine given we are on a 2 month trip. Derek is very responsive and Hercules was helpful upon check in. Would recommend

Best Location for exploring

The studio is lovely and in the best location for exploring. The subway, city tour buses, airport bus, grocery/department store are all right on the square out front. Plus only a short walk to the Ramblas and old city. We had a wonderful stay here. There is a bit of street noise late into the night. This didn't bother us but for those that are light sleepers be aware. Derek was easy to work with, answered all my questions and even had fresh flowers and a bottle of wine awaiting us when we arrived.

Very special apartment

Derek's Studio Loft in Barcelona was a truly special place to stay. The location is ideal and the apartment is lovely and very comfortable: nicely decorated, has everything you need, great shower, very comfortable bed, big windows with great views that open easily. Really pleasant space to hang out in and come home to. The area it's in is also beautiful and centrally located to everywhere we wanted to walk to, also with public transportation right there. Derek and Hercles were also very warm, informative, accommodating and helpful. Absolutely no complaints! Joan

The heart of Barcelona

My husband and I have just had four days in Derek's great apartment which is in the heart of Barcelona. Just up from Pl. Catalunya, with many access points to the excellent metro, old town, restaurants and all the great sites, this is located in a superb position. It's easy to reach on the airport bus and the friendly Hercles was there to meet us. The apartment is not big but had everything we needed including a super comfortable bed. Towels are huge and very nice too. There were lots of guidebooks for us to consult, and the kitchen included coffee maker and coffee. Thanks for a great stay Derek and Hercles.

Great Location!

This apartment is centrally located next to Catalunia Square, which is the epicenter of Barcelona. There a plenty of sites to see on Passeig De Gracia and La Ramblas is just one street away. Guady houses are just a short walk of the street. Old town is also just a short walk from the apartment. Everything is reachable with a short walk from this apartment. We did not really use the kitchen, but it appeared to be well stocked and appointed. The views from the apartment are great. communication with the owner was great and we had no issues checking in or out of the apartment. We would highly recommend this apartment to any visitors of Barcelona.

This place was at an amazing location. Close to metro and half a block from Plaza Catalunya. Huge grocery store across the street. Well kept building. Derek was very responsive with any questions, and Hercles was great at meeting us. Airport bus literally half a block away. Couple of suggestions would be to put a mirror somewhere other than the bathroom so one person can get ready while the bathroom is in use, and to leave a couple of drawers open for unpacking. Those are so minor and easily adaptable. I will definitely recommend it.

Charming with view and location to die for!!!

We loved our stay in Barcelona and could not have picked a better apartment. The location was superb! Take Aerobus shuttle from the airport and it dropped us just about at the front door in the heart of the city near the BEST shops and restaurants! Derek our owner was kind, courteous and always easy to reach. The apartment is homey and charming and arriving to fresh flowers, wine glasses and a fresh bottle of spanish wine was appreciated. We felt safe had a quiet well stocked apartment and a TV with English options when we needed a little down time! We would stay here again and again! We cooked, we could freshen up our laundry and walk right to the middle of everything. Doorman was so nice and building was very secure and it seemed like we had a private elevator as it was always quick and available! Enjoy!

Excellent place to stay to be in the heart of the city

First let me say I am very picky where we stay. This place was great. The outside of the building is historically beautiful. The front door is secure and the entry way is marble. The elevators are small compared to US. We stayed during the Christmas holiday. Bed is very comfortable and there are plenty of linens for the bathroom and kitchen. Lots of books and music to play. The views are fantastic. The bathroom is clean and is all white marble. Lovely. I would recommend this place for long or short stays. it was perfect for walking around the city. The tourist bus is one block away. we traveled the whole city by bus or walking. The cab is right outside to take you to the airport. The person that let us in(Hercules), we showed up an hour early and he rushed to meet us very early in the morning. Very Good Place To Stay.

Great potential but failed to deliver a great experience

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights. We have stayed in more than a dozen vacation rental apartments in Europe over the past 15 years. The location is great. Easy to reach from the airport, and from the apartment, easy to access the sites that bring visitors to Barcelona. The apartment is bright, secure and has all of the basic requirements for a good apartment experience. However, there were several, easy to fix issues, that would elevate this apartment from a 2 to a 5 star experience. Number one - it was not clean enough - the bathroom floor was dirty and the bathroom smelled musty; over half of the dishes and cutlery in the cupboard / drawers were dirty and needed to be re-washed (the dishwasher may be the problem - we had to re-wash many items even though they had been rinsed before going into the dishwasher). Number two - the initial orientation - Hercles did not meet us at the apartment street door (despite texting when leaving the airport and arriving at the door as requested), we got in because someone was going in and let us follow them with our suitcases; then fortunately, security intervened and told us to go to the 5 th floor and then again fortunately another tenant came along after 5 minutes of texting and waiting to tell us the unit number - we knocked on the door and ... Hercles appeared - he had been there all the time but watching TV and not watching his phone - then he could not wait to leave fast enough - collected the tax, pointed to the wifi code, written out and taped to the stove fan (more on this later) and left - we had to stop him and ask about garbage disposal and even then, the response was wrong (yes, it needs to be separated even though there is nothing in the apartment to signal or help you to do it) - no orientation to the appliances, local supermarkets or restaurants, etc and there was no basic instruction booklet which has been standard in vacation apartment rentals for over 15 years now ... and while the wifi eventually worked fine, it was frustrating to find that the "posted" password was wrong. We immediately contacted Hercles(within 10 minutes of arrival) but he responded that he had already left the city central but that we should check the password written on the bottom of the router - which we did - and the posted one was missing two characters. These are all fixable items but until done, there are probably better places to stay for the money. When fixed, yes, this is a good apartment to enjoy Barcelona

This is the perfect property for a couples stay in beautiful Barcelona! We enjoyed the views from the apartment and it was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. The location was amazing! Centrally located to most attractions & easy access to shopping, restaurants and transportation.

In an ideal central location, this studio is perfect for a short stay in Barcelona. With bus and Metro lines on the doorstep and 24 hour security on the door we felt able to make the most of our visit. The studio is well equipped and the bed very comfortable. We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation - thank you Derek!

Notre sejour fut très agreable! Endroit très central, parfait pour marcher dans le coeur de la ville ou pour un accès au métro ou aux autobus. Derek a pu nous accomoder en nous permettant d'aller porter nos baggages à l'appartement plus tôt. L'endroit est propre, securitaire, confortable.

This is an easy question! I chose to live on Passeig de Gracia as it is 'THE' address in Barcelona. Passeig de Gracia is the most elegant and most central avenue of the city. Having lived for two years on Passeig de Gracia, loving every minute of the sheer ease of living within walking distance of everything and being in the heart of such a wonderful city, I decided to buy another apartment, this lovely studio loft in 1998. My original home on Passeig de Gracia is listing 11323 which is also on VRBO. This studio had everything I wanted: The right location, a beautiful period building, unusual ceiling features and a magnificent view of the city.

I often stay at this flat when in Barcelona. This is in the middle of everything - a perfect location. Diagonally opposite is Barcelona's main department store with an extremely well stocked supermarket with wet fish counter, butcher , greengrocer and fruiterer - all the best products opposite my studio loft. Arrival and departure is also fantastically easy, I feel spoilt! The Airbus to the airport departs and arrives just outside El Corte Ingles, the above mentioned department store - in other words, opposite the flat.
The new Apple store is just next door.
When staying here, I very rarely use transport of any kind as I can walk everywhere. In the summer months, the beach is just a 10 minute(if that) metro ride away.
