3300 neliöjalkaa kodissamme on 5 makuuhuonetta ja 4 kylpyhuonetta, ja se sijaitsee 4 hehtaarilla 15 mailin (20 minuutin) päässä Durangon keskustasta upea La Plata -vuorten juurella ja La Platajoen vieressä. Vierekkäinen joki ja lähellä La Plata Canyonin backcountry-rikkautta ovat vertaansa vailla niiden virkistysmahdollisuuksien ja poikkeuksellisten näkymien vuoksi. Kalastus, vaellus, maastohiihto, nelipyöräily ja liian monet muut ulkoiluharrastukset nimetäksesi ovat tämän poikkeuksellisen omaisuuden takaovesta.

Varaa vähintään viikko ja 10%: n alennus lasketaan automaattisesti.

Peruutusehdot: Varaus vaaditaan 300 dollaria. Tämä 300 dollarin maksu suoritetaan erääntyvälle summalle ja se palautetaan vain 72 tunnin kuluessa varauksen tekemisestä. Jos saapumispäivä on 45 päivän sisällä varauksesta, vaaditaan koko maksu kokonaisuudessaan varauksen yhteydessä. Peruutukset tai muutokset, jotka johtavat lyhentyneeseen oleskeluun ja jotka tehdään 45 päivän kuluessa saapumispäivästä, menettävät koko varauksen summan, kun taas peruutukset, jotka tehtiin yli neljäkymmentäviisi (45) päivää ennen saapumistasi, menettävät vain 300 dollarin maksu suoritettu varauksen yhteydessä. La Platta Canyon

The property and location was beautiful! We were disappointed that the yard was not taken care of so we couldn’t be outside playing games. We had issues with the cleanliness of the house, dead bugs, cobwebs and flies everywhere. There was a propane leak that took 2 1/2 days to find before it was fixed, which caused some inconvenience. The property did make that right and we were very grateful! The water heaters were off and are not all in plain sight. We had to search to find them and get them turned back on. There is plenty to do in the area and we took advantage of the recommendations of the property managers. The pictures are a little dated, and the property could use a few updates and coats of paint.

Lovely location and excellent Cabin for big family

Location was great with scenic views around. Cabin was awesome and spacious. Only drawback was we saw a lot of flies inside the bathroom and bedroom floors. But this was notified to us even before we arrived and they offered to clean the house once again. Overall we had awonderful experience.

Great place to stay!

This home was perfect for our family gathering. Plenty of space to spread out and still have private space for each family. The location is beautiful and is convenient to Durango and all of it's offerings. We would stay again.

Pleasant Mountain Getaway

Very nice big space. We had two families get together and we enjoyed the many bedrooms and bathrooms. The communal spaces were well furnished and enjoyable to gather in. The kitchen was well equiped and we had an easy time using the grill. The mountain location was beautiful and a nice break from the heat. I can easily recommend this place to others.

Colorado vacation

Had a great time! Property was very accurately described. We had an issue with the hot water upstairs but it was addressed quickly. The altitude was a problem for some of us coming from Florida and Texas. The kitchen was great and well stocked! Would suggest you make the downstairs bedroom more adult friendly so older guests don’t have to climb the stairs. All in all a great place for large families.

Enjoyed it very much, house was wonderful. I would have liked to have had a master bedroom downstairs. Bathroom plugs wouldn't work, even after trying the reset. It did not slow us down as we are very adaptable. Would recommend and stay again.

Short but sweet stay

House is in beautiful, serene location. Well laid out with large kitchen, deck, and front lounge area. Bedrooms are spacious. Marked and steep trail down to river for those brave enough to try it. Kitchen had plenty of utensils, two dishwashers, and all appliances but could use a few more basics (salt, sugar, etc) for short stay guests. One of the bathrooms had intermittent hot water during our stay. Was not a big deal and so did not communicate or expect to have it fixed during our stay. Highly recommend the house for location and serenity.

Hesperus hideaway

Upon arrival at this mountain property, all 8 of us were saying WOW!!! This is AWESOME! The inside of the home was as pictured and even more amazing as we went from room to room. The atrium is just a beautiful add to the rest of the home. The pool table saw lots of fun action. Outside games were played in the large side yard. And the BBQ got some fun use as well. All around.....10+++++

The grandkids loved the lofts in the bedrooms!The reasons we’re not giving all 5s are: no air conditioning and not all windows worked well; weak WIFI; and confusing light switches. Being in our mid 70s, a grab bar in the master bath would have been very helpful.

Picture’s don’t do it justice!

The property has amazing views! There were 11 of us and everyone had plenty of room. The path to the creek is overgrown and a little treacherous, but everyone (but me) participated in the adventure. A few of the outdoor furniture pieces could be replaced and I recommend some kind of room deodorizer for when the place sits empty for awhile. Manager was aware of two other issues we were concerned about. We would definitely return!

Great House

This was a beautiful property in the woods - you are at 8000 feet elevation so the weather is perfect and not too hot at all. The rooms are very spacious - the pictures don't do it justice. And each upper bedroom also has a loft area (great for kids too). There are 4 full bathrooms as well and a fun treehouse for kids plus two decks. The property manager was amazing and came right away. We felt the one bunk bed was a little soft for us adults and he came and added extra slats that afternoon to make it more supportive. Truly a great place and great experience.

Family July 4th Fun

The atrium is wonderful, we watched a beautiful lightning storm one night. On July 4th, we had our family reunion over for a roasted turkey dinner. With the outside patios included we were able to comfortably seat 29 people. The location of this property is perfect as we have relatives that live right next door. The caretaker even mowed a path for us to use between the properties.

Overall, a very enjoyable weekend with kids & grandkids. Grandkids loved the house & wanted to stay forever! Adequate indoor & outdoor space for our group. Several does with new fawns was the highlight Saturday morning. A couple of things that were not so great: door out to the deck is very warped & difficult to open & close, upstairs far bedroom window was hanging on on 1 hinge, the kitchen floor was not clean, & the trail down to the river was so overgrown that we could not use it & the kids really wanted to hike down, trash bins were full so we had to pile on top. Just little things that could be fixed but we had a great time!

The kitchen is huge with 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers, two refrigerators and a gas grill on the second deck. Upon arrival I discovered that the propane tank ro the grill was empty. I emailed the management company and they had it promply replaced. The property is approximately a 15 minute drive to downtown Durango, so you will need your own transportation if you stay here. I would definitely stay here again.

Mountain Escape

Overall the stay was pleasant. The cabin was laid out nicely with four upstairs rooms with two bathrooms and one bedroom with two bathrooms on the main floor. The only thing I would change about the room situation is making the downstairs room a master suite instead of the room with two twins. This way older people or people with bad knees could use this room instead of climbing stairs to share a queen bed. The kitchen has a huge island, two ovens, two dishwashers, and plenty of kitchen ware for any cooking you plan on doing. There is a two tier deck that is nice for enjoying a morning coffee watching the sunrise. However, we found no lights for outside at night so this would be something that would be nice to enjoy the deck in the late evenings. The location of the cabin is excellent. Just what we wanted tucked away in a secluded valley with a river close by. You could hear the water running in the river from the deck outside. Very peaceful. I’d definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Family Gathering Place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 13 (10 adults, 3 children) stayed here for a week in July. The house is nestled in a partly forested area about a 20 minute drive from Durango, secluded enough that we were visited by deer and a rather friendly fox every day. Even though temps reached 90 in town the temperature at the cabin was usually several degrees cooler, keeping it comfortable day and night. The house itself is fabulous, with more than enough space for a family our size; the kitchen is huge and well-equipped - we could seat all 13 of us comfortably at the table! The front room with it's wall of floor to ceiling windows is gorgeous, and every bedroom and bath is immaculate. We also enjoyed the lovely two-level deck, plus we had plenty of room in the front to play outdoor games in the evening. The property manager, Brian, is extremely friendly and helpful. This place is perfect for a large family or multiple families.
