Hyvin hoidettu Sand Dollar Oceanfront Condominium F-9

Tarjoamme jälleen kerran hyvin hoidettua oceanfront-studiohuoneistomme, joka sijaitsee vain 75 metrin päässä vedestä. F-9 on yksi Sand Dollar Resortin mukavimmista yksiköistä. Tämä yksikkö on esitelty Sand Dollar -sivustoilla. Alkuperäinen lattia on korvattu kaikkialla, mukaan lukien lanai. Lisäksi runsaasti kylpyhuone on uusittu päivitetyillä seinä- ja lattialaatoilla sekä valaistuksella, kaikilla kalusteilla ja suurella lasitiilisuihkulla. Tämä yksikkö on sisustettu tyylikkäästi trooppisella taideteoksella ja huonekalut on verhoiltu Waverly- ja Robert Allen -koristekankaalla. Automaattinen lämminvesivaraaja on asennettu, jotta kuuma vesi ei lopu loppuun. Muita laitteita ovat 32 tuuman taulutelevisio, liesitaso ja uuni, uusi täysikokoinen ruostumaton ranskalainen ovi-jääkaappi jääpalakoneella, uusi astianpesukone ja jaettu yksikkö-ilmastointilaite. Laitteessa on myös kaksi kattotuuletinta ja yksi lanai. Peitetyssä Lanai-istuimessa on pöytä ja neljä tuolia sekä runsaasti koukkuja märän pyydyksen ripustamiseen. Siellä on myös 2 kiesit-lepotuoleja rentoutumiseen auringossa. Tämä laite on erittäin mukava ja hyvässä kunnossa.

Nauti kauniista auringonlaskuista osakehuoneistosta tai askeleen päässä rannan terassilla. Yksikkö sijaitsee Sand Dollar Condominium -kompleksissa. Kompleksissa on ravintola / baari kiinteistössä ja monet muut kävelyetäisyydellä. Dive Friends on paikan päällä oleva sukellusoperaattori, jolla on tarjolla sukelluslaituri ja vene sukelluksia. Ihana deli, 2 pullon välillä, vain parkkipaikan toisella puolella suositellaan aamiaiseksi tai lounaaksi. Pankki kiinteistön vieressä pankkiautomaatilla. Kauppakeskus kadun toisella puolella huumeiden kanssa. Laitteessa on saatavilla langaton internetyhteys ja Sand Dollarin tarjoama kansainvälinen matkapuhelin, joka on saatavana vastaanoton yhteydessä ostettavina minuutti-korteina.

Monimutkainen uima-allas ja valaistut tenniskentät sijaitsevat kiinteistöllä lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä yksiköltä. Upea terassi, jossa aurinkotuolit, ulkosuihkut, pääsy merelle ja snorklausta tämän pohjakerroksen askeleen sisällä.

Cozy, Comfortable With Relaxing View
Making our 17th trip to Bonaire, our “go to” place to stay is always Sand Dollar. Studio F9 was perfect for just the two of us. And it had everything we needed to enjoy our much needed vacation. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need if preparing meals on those occasions when you just want to eat in. Learning how the stove worked was kind of an adventure, but we had excellent directions. Very quiet with a view that will calm your soul! Thank you Mitzi!

Love the Sand Dollar!!
We stayed in an efficiency. Very nice full kitchen, beautiful bathroom, comfy bed, great TV. Patio was perfect for morning coffee with a view. Water, SCUBA diving just steps away. Twice weekly clean towels a good schedule. The Bonaire blue whiptail lizards were fun to watch.

A wonderful place on Bonaire
We have stayed at the Sand Dollar before and it is a great place. This studio is fully equipped with everything we needed. It has nice cookware and a comfortable bed and pillows. The new kitchen is very nice. Being on the ground floor makes it easy to get to the ocean. The host was so thoughtful. It was our honeymoon and she had the apartment decorated for us with a beautiful fresh flower arrangement and petals on the bed :-). We felt very welcome. I would highly recommend this studio for 2 people.

Wish We Could Have Stayed Longer
We really enjoyed our time on Bonaire and at Sand Dollar. The condo complex is very peaceful, beautiful views, amazing sunsets and stargazing, friendly neighbors, and convenient dives with Dive Friends nextdoor. The house reef - Bari- is great for diving and snorkeling. I recommend F-9. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable, memorable vacation. Thanks Mitzi. We will be back.

Updates needed
The Good: Mitzi is very responsive and informative on procedures. The Bad: The pictures of the pool are very deceptive. The pool stayed an uninviting shade of green and reeked of chlorine the whole time (10 days) we were there. You could not ever see the bottom of the pool. The condo itself is in need of attention. There is an issue with the plumbing and the shower does not drain well. I was told at checkout that they will be digging up the entire sewage and plumbing system for the unit. It definitely smelled bad. The picture of the bed makes it look larger than it actually is. It is a double with an old mattress and a piece of foam padding on top of the old mattress. I slept on the couch, which was more comfortable than the bed. That was not something anyone should have to do on vacation with their spouse. The oven is a pain to use and I wondered if the sagging cabinet above the sink might give way and collapse. The faucet in the kitchen is not in proper working order.

We loved staying here. The view to the water is great and the palm trees and gardens are lovely. We enjoyed the palm tree theme and the place had everything you could need in the kitchen, even filtered water from the fridge There was plenty of closet space for clothes and the AC worked well.

Great Diving location, private and relaxing
We can’t wait to return! Our first time at Sand Dollar and it exceeded our expectations. Convenient location, clean, comfortable apartment with everything you need. If you want an affordable place right on the ocean, this is the place for you. My husband and I enjoyed sitting by or walking along the sea wall. The steps right into the water are convenient and the private pier is great! Dive Friends has a location right next to the pier.

Miss it already!
We so enjoyed our stay on Bonaire. We visited 17 snorkel sites and loved them all. Mitzis’ unit was perfect—roomy, very clean, a great shower, comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen, private patio with a view, a large closet (lots of hangers) and a big dresser for our two-week stay. Convenient to town, but far from the sight and sound of cruise ship activity. Appreciated the maid service, easy parking, A/C, ceiling fans and the wall safe. Sand Dollar is a quiet complex with friendly folks to chat with while sipping wine and watching the sunset on the waterfront terrace. Would most definitely stay here again. Thank you for a taste of paradise!

Fabulous stay in Mitzis condo
We had a fabulous stay in F9. Mitzi was in constant communication with us, and answered all our concerns before traveling and during. She gave us lots of great advice. The condo was absolutely perfect!!! Very comfy bed, with lots of pillows and a maid service. Kitchen was greatly equipped and we loved the ice makers😊. Mitzis condo had the best ocean view, also we only had to walk out the front patio door, and jump in the water for a beautiful ocean oasis on Reef Bari. We picked up groceries at Vandertweels, or the market down the road, both only minutes away), and prepared our meals in the condo. F9 at Sand Dollar was central to everything. The best part was the relaxed area, and all the wonderfully friendly neighbours. Bonaire was certainly our favourite Caribbean island. We packed a lunch each day, and hoped into our truck to explore new snorkel sites. We particularly Enjoyed swimming with all the turtles at the Salt Pier. We ended each day with an island sunset drive, to visit all the donkeys and Flamingos ❤️😊❤️! Thank you so much Mitzi, we can’t wait to return again. Kindly, Cynthia and Bobby

Great studio, great diving!
This studio was great and very convenient. The view was fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend it. We spent three wonderful weeks of scuba diving and the dive site right in front of Sand Dollar is beautiful.

Not enough time in paradise!
We loved our stay at Mitzi’s place at Sand Dollar condominiums! Her condo was perfect for the 2of us. We were very comfortable and felt at home. The snorkeling right outside the door was quite impressive with a vast variety of fish. Also, the other people staying at Sand Dollar were very friendly and welcoming.

Wonderful piece of paradise
We had the pleasure of staying at Mitzi’s studio condo at the Sand Dollar Resort in Bonaire for two weeks in February 2019. Mitzi’s condo is updated and superbly appointed, with everything that a holiday traveller would require. The condo is beautifully decorated in a palm tree theme and has a completely equipped kitchen, including a stove with oven which is very difficult to find in most Caribbean accommodations and which enables one to be able to make any type of meal they desire. The condo is immaculately clean, and maid service includes sweeping and washing floors, cleaning the bathroom, refreshing towels and bed sheets several times a week. There is a clothesline on the front sitting area for hanging your wet clothes. There is also parking directly in back of the condo. The resort is a short 5 minute drive to the heart of Kralendijk and 10 minutes from the airport. The outdoor sitting area directly faces the Caribbean Sea, not 75 feet in front, with a view of the beautiful Caribbean, flowing bushes, trees, palm trees and cacti. It is only a very short couple of minutes stroll to the sand beach whereby you can step right into the water to swim, snorkel or go diving. To the immediate right of the beach is a wonderful small reef teeming with schools of small fish, angelfish, trumpet fish, various corals, and other colourful aquatic life. We were so thrilled to be able to snorkel anytime we wanted throughout the day from the shore without having to spend money on a boat to take us out when we wanted to snorkel. There are plenty of diverse and reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance of the main Sand Dollar entrance, including a fabulous bakery/sandwich/dessert/coffee place called In Between 2 Buns within a 2 minute walk, and the Doner Station, a wonderful Middle East food eatery just across the street from the bakery. Mitzi is certainly a super host, always responding to any queries that we may have had within minutes of receiving them, and was extremely friendly, accommodating and gracious to us. It was a real pleasure dealing with her. As well, the staff that work at the Sand Dollar Resort were extremely helpful, courteous and friendly in any interactions that we had with them. The Sand Dollar Condo Resort is a very safe, quiet and relaxing environment which enabled us to have a wonderfully stress-free vacation in the sun, and we would have no hesitation in returning to Mitzi’s little piece of paradise in Bonaire again.

Oceanfront location is amazing!
Husband and I stayed for two weeks in November 2018. We thoroughly enjoyed the unit. Furnishings are lovely, it's well equipped with everything you need, dishwasher is a nice touch, A/C worked very well, layout is very functional, staff are wonderful, the outdoor patio area is awesome. We enjoyed watching many sunsets from the unit! Parking is right in front and the ground floor location is perfect. It is in the building furthest from the office and the sandy beach area - this didn't bother us but it's something to note. The whole place was extremely quiet - I think November is low season so that might have been part of it, but if you are looking for a place where you will mix and mingle with people then SandDollar might not be the place for you. If you enjoy the solitude of not having to share space with others then you will love it. Bed is comfortable but if I'm being picky, the pillows aren't great. There are only three (four would be better as my husband grumbled that he only got one! LOL) and the two main pillows were quite hard. We felt very secure - left the safe open one day with no issues. It's good to note that if you leave the unit from the patio door and head to the ocean front then you won't have an option to lock the unit. We left it unlocked and had no issues, but if you need to keep it locked then you will have to use the front door and walk around. Again, not a problem for us but everyone has different security thresholds. Our one and only disappointment was the pool - or lack thereof for all intents and purposes. Yes, you have use of a pool (the one pictured) but it is part of Eddy's Restaurant so that means you can't consume your own food or alcohol and it has no charm - it's literally in back of the restaurant at the back of the complex. SandDollar is set up with four large 'courtyards' facing the ocean (where all the patios look onto) and any of these would be a perfect location for a pool. This is truly what the complex is missing and is the sole reason we wouldn't choose this location on a future trip. Having said that, if a pool isn't a major attraction for you then you will be very happy with this unit and I think it is truly one of the nicest in the complex.

Perfect vacation rental for two!
My husband and I loved our stay with you. The apartment had plenty of room for the two of us and is well laid out with plenty of closet space, drawers, in addition to space to hang our wet diving gear on the outside patio. Parking was convenient right in front of the unit. The Sand Dollar office was very helpful and Dive Friends is our favorite dive company located on site with tank pickups all over the island. Perfect Location!
We loved our 2 week stay at Mitzi's F9 Sand Dollar Unit! The unit was perfect- well maintained and at a great location. The unit had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet. The unit is located at the north end of the Sand Dollar complex. The Dan Laman Bits and Bites restaurant and dive shop are located at the south end- an easy walk. It is a short walk out to the sea wall where we enjoyed morning coffee and evening sunsets with the iguanas. Steps leading down to the ocean and fresh water showers were located conveniently along the sea wall. We are snorkelers and birders. Our favorite snorkel sites were all close by- Bari Reef ( "the aquarium" - the old concrete pier on the south end of Sand Dollar), Cliff at the Hamlet, and Andrea 1 and 2. A highlight was night snorkeling with tarpons in front of Sand Dollar. We saw 28 species of birds on the Sand Dollar property...... including the Yellow-shouldered Parrots and Brown- throated Parakeets that visit the flame trees on the property. Making arrangements at Sand Dollar was very easy. Thank you, Mitzi, for being a great communicator. The staff was also wonderful. Front office folks were very kind and helpful. Kudos to maintenance who were there within 20 minutes to fix a broken AC fan blade. Housekeeping did a fabulous job. If you enjoy a low key, relaxed atmosphere, this is the place for you! I think Bonaire is probably amazing any time of year. We thoroughly enjoyed our "low season" visit. Many thanks, Mitzi, for sharing your incredible space. I think we will be back to Bonaire!

Awesome peaceful condo!!
Mitzi is great to work with and quick to respond! She is very knowledgeable regarding restaurants. We loved the pier table at Sebastian’s. Zazu burger night and Pasa Bon Pizza were delicious. Neighbors were friendly and helpful too. Lovely people in this community. Beautiful location. Hope to return soon. We appreciate you , Mitzi! Thank you for everything!!

Fantastic stay!
Love everything about The Sand Dollar and this unit doesn’t disappoint. It is well stocked & maintained. Very clean & comfy. Had a wonderful week here. Nice patio with great views to see and enjoy morning coffee. Many times had fantastic dives right out front but if not diving it’s a beautiful swim/snorkel spot too! Everyone was super friendly as well. Definitely will be returning. Thanks Mitzi for being so accommodating!!!

Sand Dollar Sunsets
We enjoyed our stay at the Sand Dollar in Bonaire. The condo was very comfortable and Mitzi was very good to check to see that we had everything we needed for our vacation. It was our first time to the Island and we enjoyed the diving, wonderful views and friendly people. We will be back.

Perfect Studio Apartment/Perfect Location
This studio apartment was in a very nice location at Sanddollar Condominiums. It was well maintained and well stocked with all amenities. We would stay there again. We have stayed in other Sanddollar apartments over the years and they all have been very nice.

Great Stay on Bonaire
My wife and I travel to Bonaire annually. This year we were fortunate enough to be able to stay two weeks. The condo was perfect for us to relax in the evening after a day of diving. We ate dinners in, rather than going to out to eat, and the kitchen was very well furnished with necessary utensils and cookware. On one of our dive trips with East Coast Diving (high recommend booking a trip with them), our dive finished about the same time the local fisherman were cleaning their catch. I grabbed up a red snapper for $18 and this catch made a great meal for two nights. The winds in Bonaire were in our favor and we were able to keep the windows open during the day and stay cool, while only use the air conditioning when going to bed. The room was great for us, and I would recommend to anyone who does not need a lot of space but just a comfortable place to return after a busy day of diving. The maid service cleans twice a week and keeps the towels changed as needed. The people we met at the condo were also great, many of them owners down for the winter months. I hope to return again later this year...

Loved it
Our unit F9 was wonderful. It was clean, comfortable and stocked with everything we would need. Dive shop was a bit far away and inconvenient. I would still stay here again!
