Maine Lakefront -mökkivuokraus hiekkarannalla

Järvenrantamökki hiekkarannalla, nurmikolla ja kanootilla Sokokis-järven tutkimiseen. Hotelli sijaitsee dramaattisten presidentinvuoristojen mäkien kukkuloilla historiallisessa Limerickin kaupungissa. Antikvariaatteja, ravintoloita, jäätelöä ja pizzaa sijaitseva alle kilometrin päässä mökistä.

James Sullivan perusti vuonna 1771 Limerickin (väkiluku 2 000), joka sai nimensä kotikaupunkiinsä Irlannissa. Aktiviteetteihin kuuluu uinti, kalastus ja melonta. Ron and Monica were great! They were both very helpful with any questions or concerns that we had. The camp was very nice and the location was awesome. Our family, friends and grandkids loved the fishing. Our 13 yo granddaughter caught a 2 1/4 lb bass right off the dock. That was the highlight of the summer in her eyes . Sunsets were so beautiful as well!

Simply relaxing!

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Our goal was relaxation, renewal, and a change of scenery with our family. We kayaked and saw wildlife. We have been here before and would return again.

Peaceful and relaxing vacation stay

We were very happy overall with the quiet and beautiful surroundings for our much needed vacation. The lake is beautiful, with many coves to explore by canoe. And the house, with private level beach, is situated in a place where boats must use headway speed only. After I cleared some grass from the water, there was a sandy entry.. very zen experience overall!

My family had a great vacation here! It was everything we wanted. Mark was great at communicating throughout our trip. He let us borrow paddle boards to use as well kayaks and life vests. We even used his water trampolines!!! House was a great camp house. Kitchen had everything we needed and beds were comfortable. Mark was meeting with people to do other improvements to the property while we were there so it will only get better!! We didn’t leave the property often but when we did it was easy to get to what we needed-grocery shopping and cinema during the rain. It was a great week. We definitely would book again in the future.

Second time here… love it

This is the second time that we have rented this property. The lake is so peaceful and warm. The town has everything you need from a donut shop, takeout stand, a restaurant that also has great takeout, a great grocery store, etc. The camp also has everything you need. We stayed here with our adult children. There are four bedrooms and an upstairs and downstairs. It’s easy to either spend time together or to have your own space. Two bathrooms is also very convenient. We had all the dishes that we needed for cooking a variety of meals There is a washer and dryer to help keep up with laundry. I didn’t need to bring half the stuff that I brought. Spent the week swimming, fishing, eating and taking rides in the boat. Would definitely recommend this cute camp to anyone.

Wonderful vacation spot

I have stayed at this property many times from a two week stay to renting for a month. It was so nice seeing Ron Carroll again. Our stay, as usual was a wonderful experience. We were disappointed the battery for the small boat was not working. Also, I would suggest a step stool if planning on sleeping in the queen bed. Thankfully we had a folding step stool with us because I was not able to get into the bed without it. I am 5'3". The toaster only toasts on one side of the bread. Would suggest a new toaster.

Ron is great but he should consider hiring a cleaning company. The upstairs was livable but the downstairs where the kitchen and main bathroom are was a complete nightmare. We didn’t make one meal at the house after spending more than $300 for groceries. Every appliance except the microwave was either covered in old dried up food, crumbs or in the case of the coffee pot still filled with thick water. The cabinets have larva and sacks of some sort coming out between cracks. It looks like black mold on the walls and wires coming out of the wall. Upstairs is neat and vacuumed but that is asked to be done by the renter before they leave. The beds are clean but nothing has been swept in awhile. My daughter and her baby slept in the front bedroom. When we pushed the bed over to make room for a pack & play there was a pill under it among a lot of dust. The whole place smells incredibly musty. There’s candles and cans of air freshener everywhere. The tub down stairs had hairs on the bottom and someone else’s used bar soaps. We were automatically offered to “check out” when we called Ron about our concerns on the second day but we decided to stay. This was before the larva. But, as the week went on we saw more and more things and it was too late to do anything about it. The only time we spent there was to sleep. Neighbors to the left were doing donuts on jet skis dangerously close to where we swam. If VRBO needs proof of any of this, pictures were taken. Someone needs to investigate.

Camp that feels like home.

I really want to minimize the negativity of the most recent post stating that there is a sewage smell and that the property is not upkept. First of all the sewage does not flow to the front lakeside of the property it is out the back to the street. If you pick up the sand at the water's edge what you are smelling is the breaking down of the leaves and muck at the bottom not a raw sewage leak as you insinuated.. The sewage smell that you claim most likely had was the odorant for the propane tank that you left on. I stayed at the property prior to you and feel like you were expecting a mansion on the water instead of the quaint, clean and wonderful camp that Ron has offered out to renters. I find it shameful at your critique of the camp and hopefully you never rent from them again. I have been coming to this property since 2015, and I have never had a bad stay and it is not dated, they recently put in a floating floor and a sit down tub in the bottom floor. They also put in a brand new mattress in the master bedroom and I had family and friends stay in all the rooms, all reported they had a wonderful sleep. The upstairs is tongue and groove pine. It is a camp and is so reasonably priced and comes with a boat. The docks are recently painted, and boards are replaced as needed, as they are every single year. I adore Ron and feel each year this becomes more like home then heading to camp. My family is greatly appreciative that Ron always allows us back. The fishing on this lake is some of the best bass fishing you are going to find anywhere. This most recent trip we took my son caught a bass so big it snapped his pole in half. We caught fish everywhere on that lake and near sundown were catching whoppers right off the dock. The lake is refreshing and yes there are boats but there is a no wake zone extremely far out in the water and unless you are planning on swimming miles out there is plenty of room for a nice long swim. Any time I had a question or a concern Ron was right there for me. He also has a son right down the road who would be there in a second if a major problem arose. I recommend this camp to anyone who wants a wonderful, relaxing vacation with some of the most beautiful skies you could ever see. The fishing is unbelievable, the neighbors are all wonderful people and the local stores and restaurants are amazing. There is no other place that I would rent that has the accommodations like this. Ron is a gem.

This is our third or fourth time staying here. We brought our adult boys with us and had the most relaxing , wonderful week. Everything we needed for cooking was provided. Slept great. The boys had fun using the kayaks. The water was warm, the lake is beautiful, and we absolutely love the town of Limerick. The food at the Peppermill is really really good, had ice cream and donuts at the shops across the street And the Limerick supermarket is one of my favorite grocery stores. The sunsets here are amazing. Caught and released one huge fish. Neighbors were friendly. Great week as always.

Good location

I enjoyed having this camp for a week. My family lives in Limerick Maine. I live in California so I had a place for them to come hangout with me. The lake is nice people are respectful. I would say what others have previously mentioned that maybe Mr. Carroll might hire a professional cleaning company to help out. I slept on the Queen bed and it was comfortable. I am grateful to have stayed at this camp.

Great place to stay.

I really appreciated Ron's hospitality. This is a great place to stay for a week or two! The place is clean and there's plenty of dishes and silverware. Two Tv's one upstairs and one downstairs. The air-conditioning unit in the master bedroom was big for me. I need air-conditioning to sleep. I think it kept the place cool enough. Fishing was great, right off the dock. Great place to stay!

Beautiful Lake and Beach

The beach and the lake were excellent!!!! Sandy entry with gradual incline great for young kids. The owner Ron and his daughter were extremely helpful with recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The property has everything you need. We really enjoyed the paddle boat. Having kayaks for guests to use would definitely be a plus. The house is definitely rustic. The master bedroom was perfect! The bed was super comfortable and the air conditioner definitely was used. I have a few suggestions an air conditioner in the living room and getting a new sleeper sofa. The mattress is not comfortable at all. We actually doubled it with the mattress from the downstairs sofa. Made it a little better. I would bring an air mattress next time. The twin beds are older and we were afraid to use them thinking they might break otherwise we would have slept in them. Please hire a professional cleaning crew to come in. Ron is a lovely man I just think it is too large of a property for him to clean by himself. We will definitely rent again. Thanks for sharing your vacation home with us!

Lovely

This property was lovely. The beach was great, the water beautiful and very relaxing!! It was very quiet during the week, and obviously much busier on Friday-Sunday. The little ice cream/ food place was just awesome!!! And we did go to Cornish to Kristys for our anniversary dinner and it was amazing! Ron, the host, is just wonderful and extremely attentive! Just so relaxing

Incredibly relaxing… everything you need.

Working with Ron was wonderful. Communication was great and he was such a joy to meet in person. We had a great time. Even our young adult boys enjoyed it and gave the wi-if two thumbs up!! I had no idea how beautiful this lake was. I was picturing more of a pond. I was so excited to see boats, and people water skiing, tubing, paddle boarding etc. The lake is busy Saturday but then by Sunday afternoon it is just peaceful the rest of the week. The neighbor, Coach, was so kind and helped our boys have a great fishing experience. I loved that the owner, Ron, called the day after we checked in to see if we needed anything. Honestly I cannot imagine what you could need. In addition to great wi-fi there were plenty of games and puzzles and movies. Kitchen was well stocked… even had a cutting board, a pan to make brownies and a rolling pin!! We loved eating breakfast on the top deck. Our bed was super comfortable. The view was great. The beach was fantastic. The canoe, row boat and paddle boat made things extra fun and gave us a chance to explore the lake… it’s bigger than it looks. Local food was great. Local grocery store had everything! We highly recommend renting this place!!!!

Great place to stay!!

I stayed at this property for two weeks and to be honest, the best property I've stayed at since I'm been renting lake houses in Maine for the past 6 years. Ronald and his family were very nice and accommodating and let me know if I needed anything. The place itself was great. Everything was included and very convenient. Nice shady yard with a nice sandy beach that leads right to the lake. Very nice! Air Conditioning in the upstairs bedroom, nice and cool downstairs. Couple of canoes and small aluminum boat available. Fishing was great, even from the dock. Thank you and I hope to stay here again next year!!
