Tämä on viehättävä 3 makuuhuoneen koti, rakennettu vuonna 1925; kerran kesämökki päivinä, jolloin sanfranciscanit tulevat nauttimaan AquaCaliente / Fetters Springsin parannusvesistä. Se on Sonoman vanhemmassa osassa, mutta vain 2. 5 mailin päässä viehättävästä Sonoma-aukion keskustasta ja vain 2 korttelin päässä Sonoma Mission Inn -kadulle. Jotkut paikalliset ruokailumahdollisuudet ovat kävelyetäisyydellä kotistani. Naapurusto on loistava aamukävelyille tai iltapaikoille lasillisella viiniä (kyllä, teemme niin täällä Sonomassa :)). Minulla on parhaat naapurit, joita kukaan on koskaan voinut pyytää. Etu- ja takakuistini ovat ihania hengailla ja rentoutua. Se on upea pieni naapuruus, ja toivon, että nautit siitä yhtä paljon kuin minä.

Tässä talossa on yläkerran makuuhuone, erittäin mukava queen-vuode ja erillinen kylpyhuone suihkulla. Alakerrassa on täysi sänky ja siihen liitetty kylpyhuone kylpyammeella ja suihkulla sekä toinen pieni makuuhuone, jossa erillinen parisänky. Tämä on pääkotini, jonka lähden, kun minulla on vieraita - Rakastan sitä, että olen poissa paljon - joten se toimii hyvin! ;) Pidän lomapaikkapaikkani valmiina ja kehotan käyttämään kotini omaksi (mi casa, su casa!). Olen aina käytettävissä vierailleni puhelimitse, jos heillä on kysyttävää.

We absolutely loved this charming place in Sonoma! Lorene was a fantastic host, very responsive, very helpful and so welcoming. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to the wine country!

Great location, great property, and great host!

The house was exactly as expected and had EVERYTHING we needed. The back yard was very relaxing, with a large table and a small water fountain. The house is located towards the northern side of town and was very accessible to the main road through town. It was a quick drive to the vineyards on both sides of the town. If we needed anything, the host was near enough to assist and easy to reach. The driveway is a little tight to get in with the full size car (nissan altima) we rented, but we found backing in made it so much easier to get in and out of. May not want to try it with a full size suv.

Cute Sonoma Getaway

We loved our time in this cute house! Lots of character, great outdoor spaces, close to downtown Sonoma but in a nice quiet neighborhood. Great access to all of the activities we wanted to do. It was a little warm with no AC, but I think we were there the hottest week of the summer and it was still manageable. We really enjoyed our stay!

Wine Country Getaway

The host was amazing. She was very communicative, answered any questions right away, and even dropped off more toilet paper for us when we were running low. The house was interesting. Very eclectic. It looked clean, but had a musty smell which could just be from everything being old. It could really use some updates. Our biggest disappointment was only one shower. We are 4 women and we always search for two full baths. The listing mentions one bath is shower only but says the other is bath or shower when it is truly only a bathtub.Overall, we had a great time and I do recommend the house.

Cozy and Fun Little Home Away from Home

We met the property owner on site and the home matched her dynamic and extremely creative personality. She was excellent with regards to communication and local recommendations and made us all feel right at home. It was the “homiest” VRBO we’ve ever booked…not fancy by any means, but charming and very cozy.

Home Sweet Home

This home is a Gem. It is clean and very comfortable. It's like going to your favorite aunt's house. Doesn't feel like an older home at all. The home has a nice flow, lots of space to move around. The front porch gets the morning sun and is perfect for reading a book(which I actually did). My trip was short so I did not make it to the back yard oasis. It is truly one of the best features on the home. There are several nearby stores to pick up groceries. We went to whole foods(about 7 minutes by car). So so many good restaurants. Few of the ones we liked were: The girl and the fig, Cafe La Haye, Della Santina's. All were very very delicious. I will definitely be back and definitely stay here again in a heart beat!!!

Great host and house.

Lorene was a great host and very responsive. Her house is charming and worked out great for our family of five with all the amenities we needed and wonderful outdoor space.

Close to everything!

Small, quaint but good home for the 5 of us. Easy drive to downtown and lots of great wineries. It was hot one day and into the evening with no a/c but they have fans to help cool the home down and for sleeping it was about 59 degrees by 11pm.

Great location close to downtown Sonoma. Lorene was a wonderful hostess! It was very easy to communicate with her and she was always quick to respond to any questions. House was clean and very lovely!

The house was amazing and the owner, Lorene, was so welcoming.

There were 4 of us staying in the house and it was more than adequate with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are wonderful knickknacks throughout the house, eye catching pictures and all in all - a real delight. You notice something different depending on where you sit. There is a sheltered front porch with a picturesque front yard and a sheltered back deck with comfy sofas and chairs. And if that isn't enough, the back yard is quite large with a BBQ and large seating/dining area. We definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the area. A memorable visit.

Wonderful Visit to the Shrangri-la

This is a wonderful, inviting home. Seems the perfect setting for a wine country visit. Lorene was a wonderful host and checked in throughout our stay to ensure everything was going well. I was considering a 4 rating as we were there during the hottest days (historically) of summer and the home does not have AC. (Many of the homes in the Napa and entire Bay area don't have central air. These luxuries have not been necessary in past years). Lorene graciously provided a mobile air unit that helped, but it was tough against 110+ degree temperatures and as a result of her hospitality I will go with a full 5-star rating of our stay. We would absolutely book this property again.

Amazing quaint home with lots of character & all the comforts of home.

Lorene's place was the perfect venue for our trip for the Napa to Sonoma half marathon. Her place was great, & she was an amazing host with lots of good recommendations & things to make our stay as great as possible. Would definitely stay here again!

I enjoy cooking (and do regular pop-up dinners in Sonoma, serving crepes, and some favorite vietnamese dishes, BanhMi and Pho), socialize with friends, listen to music, and dancing! Before I started my first business -over 25 years ago- I researched opening a Bed and Breakfast, so hosting travelers is like fulfilling the 4th business I never started! The reason I love this property/area is because it's rich in history, and it is is removed from the touristy town square, yet a close drive or bike ride away. This neighborhood is adorned with sweet little cottages, small winding streets with plenty of adorable yards and gardens to admire. It's a very organic area, with beautiful oaks and natural luscious beauty that you don't find in the more manicured areas of the square. It's got character and real charm, and feels hidden way even though the action of the town is minutes away.

When I was looking for a home to buy, this home found me, literally! It had been on the market, yet my realtors didn't show it to me. One day I decided to go out on my own and I drove by it and saw the adorable porch, the white house and white picket fence and I fell in love. The rest is history. Many people have driven past my home and told me it is their favorite property in the area; The cute porch is definitely an attraction! So fun to just sit and relax and enjoy the cute yard. I am also a big fan out outdoor sleeping, and that is why I have a comfortable couch on each porch!
