Pääkerroksessa master-sviitissä on oma terassi puutarhaan, vaatehuone ja suuri master-kylpyamme ja erillinen televisio. Suuri huone on kehystetty kauniiseen täysiin pyöreä loki lattiasta kattoon joen Rock takka. Se on korostettu suurilla ikkunoilla, jotka tuovat paljon valoa ja upeita näkymiä. The Luxury Log Home was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. It was perfect for our family gathering. My sister suggested we go out to dinner one night, and I said, "Why? Let's cook here and enjoy this wonderful home"! And, so we did! It was comfortable and had everything we needed. Steve and his wife are excellent hosts. They checked in with us to make sure the house would be a good fit for our family, and when we had a question, they answered promptly. When booking this home, keep in mind that it is several miles from a storeso get what you need before arrival. The backyard, forest beyond and views are breathtaking. The first morning there we saw a family of elk just beyond the backyard. Book this home...you'll be glad you did!

January 2025 Teepee Place

We had a fabulous time in this beautiful log home with lovely views of the mountains and forest. The hosts were very responsive to any questions. The location is nice and quiet, and the drive to good restaurants and shopping is only a few minutes away. The home had every amenity you could want, and lots of room for sleeping and socializing.

Great house nestled in the mountains

This house was perfect for us. We came for a ski vacation and originally had 10 guests, but only ended up taking eight people total. 10 Would have been no problem because the house will accommodate all 10 very comfortably. The house is beautiful and well-maintained. The hot tub is easily accessible and a must have for skiers.The house had everything that we needed to cook a few meals, there were plenty of towels, and the location was very easy to get to and close enough to town that everything was accessible, but far enough away that it was extremely peaceful.I appreciated that almost every light switch in the house was labeled because sometimes in log homes, it’s difficult to find the light switch you’re looking for. The TV service worked great while we were there although we didn’t watch a lot of TV. There were a lot of games and puzzles to choose from as well. We have rented several different houses over the last seven years in Pagosa Springs and this one definitely ranks at the very top.The owner is very hospitable and very easy to reach and communicate with. I will definitely be looking to rent this property again on our return trips.

Absolute Perfection

Gorgeous house and property! The views were spectacular. Everything our family needed for a relaxing vacation was there - well stocked kitchen, games, and comfy beds. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife each day and the beautiful afternoon mountain showers. The property is in a neighborhood, but the seven acres gave us plenty of space to explore and have fun. The property owners were great about communicating with us both before and during our stay. Highly recommend this property!

Leave me alone, please

The location is nice but the home is very outdated. The problem with this place is that you will receive multiple calls and messages from the owners before, during, and after my stay. The owner will make you sign a separate lease agreement after you book through VRBO. They will then send you a secondary set of instructions on the day you check in with separate rules in addition to the agreement you sign. These rules include the fact that they have cameras with audio throughout the property. It felt like an invasion of privacy. The owner will add extra charges to your credit card after leaving the home. They claimed that the charges were for scratching their poker table when our group never used the room that it was in. The owner then stated that our group did not make the scratch but stated that the group caused their cleaning team 4 extra hours of cleaning because we did not start a load of towels. I then had to interact with them multiple times over the next few weeks because of the extra cleaning required and the charges associated with it. If you stay at this place, be prepared to have the owner be a part of your life for a month. Take pictures of everything when you leave.

Great place and host was very accommodating. Just outside The main part of town but was able to do so much. Snowboarding a couple times, Snow mobile ride, good thai food and soaked in the hot springs (a little stinky though). Cabin had everything we needed (or could want) to make meals, coffee, etc. Beds were very cozy. Beautiful starry nights and amazing sun rises

Lovely Log Cabin outside Pagosa Springs

The owner and I communicated well. The house was divine, the location was beautiful. The house came stocked with everything we needed and the grocery store was 5 minutes away. The views from the house were spectacular and it was a great stepping off point to our National Park adventures and adventures in general. The hot tube was great after a day of hiking, and there was plenty for the children to do from Bocci and horse shoes, to the disc golf course. I would absolutely stay here again and I have already suggested the place to my friends.

Don’t let the beauty fool you….

These owners are not the kind of people you want to deal with before, during or after your stay. First there’s the phone call to see if you’re a good “fit” for their property. These were the owners words during our call, and it sure felt like profiling to me. Next comes the barrage of emails and documents to sign and return, almost 40 pages of stuff were sent for my party to agree too. Then, while you are on vacation, the wife of the owner starts texting you to water their plants around the property….seriously some random person you have never had contact with asks you for this while you are on vacation paying them over $400 per night. Then you leave and they charge you for replacement of items that are clearly old and sun damaged(spa cover) that our party saw in good condition as we departed. I wouldn’t be surprised if the cleaner gets a kickback for “finding” damage. Not to mention the master room upstairs has the lock installed backwards so you can lock people IN the room, and they can only exit the room if someone lets them out. Like I said, don’t waste your time or precious vacation time with these owners.

Couldn’t have asked for a better atmosphere this summer, the weather was awesome. Coming from 110 degree weather, it was a much needed change. The house had everything we needed. We did some hiking, disc golf, road the train and went on a mine tour.

While we live in Plano, Texas, we love Colorado and have looked for a 2nd home in Colorado for almost 10 years and we have finally found it. We love to hike, ski and watch the numerous animals to be found around our house. Come and see and you won't be disappointed.

We have friends that owned a home in Pagosa Springs for many years and we began visiting them in 2006. We fell in love with the area and its beauty. What was only a dream then, became a reality. When you step out on the balcony and look at all the scenery and it's glory, the stress just simply goes away.
