Overall, we had a good stay. I am leaving my personal review to give others a chance at full disclosure when deciding on this property (as there was only one other review available at my time of booking) When renting pet-friendly accommodations, you expect that the property may have a more “lived in” appearance. Unfortunately, I spent a great deal of time vacuuming under beds, along the ceilings (cobwebs), and most of the floor molding. I filled an entire canister of just dog hair from under one bed. In general, the home just needs a deep cleaning, new carpets and a painting.
On a positive note, the appliances are very clean and the kitchen has most everything you need for a week stay. The hot tub and pool were great for our group. The back of the property is on the busy road so if road noise is a concern for you-this may not be your house!
The location is an easy bike ride or short drive to the beach. There’s a free public lot very close to the house for easy parking at a beach entry. The location also affords a short trip to downtown Corolla and the lighthouse. I enjoyed the bike path for running and walking with the family.
