First and LAST vacation rental with Brindley
The website indicates free linens with rental. However Brindley insisted I had to pay for linens. When I arrived at the property I found the refrigerator filthy with what appeared to be grime and blood. The railing walking up the stairs was black with dirt. There was a couple marks on the wall upon entering that looked like feces. The screened in porch area off of the master bedroom had a strong smell of urine where previous rentals let the animals use that area to go to the bathroom There was a strong musty smell in the basement that made it very uncomfortable to use that space. I had to wash all the utensils and silverware and pots and pans because previous rentals put them away unwashed. One of the burners on the gas stove was broken. There is water damage on the ceilings. No pest control outside the home was done. I had to go to Brindley after I got to the house to point out the condition of the house and showed them some photos I took of the house. I asked if there was another rental they could put me in and this was not available. Within the hour a large cleaning crew of about 6 workers showed up to the house to do some cleaning. All were unmasked and the supervisor said “We are all vaccinated.” I wore a mask to try and stay safe. I was very disappointed in working with Brindley.
