Cool Wind is a luxury 5-bedroom villa set on the exclusive residential area of Westland Heights in Barbados. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens and glistening views of the ocean, this private villa is a wonderful choice for family get-togethers or friends catching up. This area has a perfect location as you are close to the prestigious Royal Westmoreland Golf Club, Apes Hill polo grounds, and minutes away from a selection of the best beaches the island has to offer. Holetown, which is awash with excellent restaurants, stylish cafes, and high-end shopping is only 10 minutes away by car.

Cool Wind Villa Barbados is like no other property and this is immediate when you walk through the doors. When you enter this luxury Barbados villa, you will notice straight away the open plan living space. Just beyond this is the dining area which overlooks the swimming pool area and sweet-smelling gardens.

Cool Wind is a carefully designed Plantation House and is decorated to the highest standard of modern luxury. The villa boasts some beautiful artwork that adorns the walls throughout the house and includes some stately furnishing. Keeping up with the modern side of life, it also boasts high-end electronics such as a Sonos music center, Smart TVs, quality Wi-Fi, and a high-tech security system.

What I love most about this property is there are numerous areas to enjoy your breakfast, lunch, or dinner. As well as the main dining area, you have the courtyard which is lovely for alfresco dining, and the Gazebo which can seat 10 guests at a time. Dining here under the stars is a very memorable experience, especially with family by your side. For those of you that love to cook, the villa has a spacious kitchen with all modern appliances at your fingertips.

There are five air-conditioned suites, three on the upper level and two at the garden level, an additional sofa bed, allows the property to accommodate 12 guests. All suites have Bluetooth speakers, personal safes and en-suite bathrooms, with quest amenities, hairdryers, and bathrobes. The master suite has a large, fully fitted walk-in wardrobe.

For those of you who like to keep up your fitness levels, this property boasts a wonderful gym with a treadmill, free weights, and cross walker. We can organize for a personal trainer to come to the villa or have persona yoga sessions.

The house comes with a complement of staff who are devoted and experienced in their positions. Their aim is to look after guests and make their vacations a memorable one. As well and your own personal chef, you have daily housekeeping, a laundress, estate, and a night security guard. Gardeners also come throughout the week to keep the gardens looking their best.

When guests do venture out, they are spoilt with choice for things to do. The beaches are amazing on the West Coast and must be experienced. My favorite would be Payne’s Bay beach which is a 10-minute drive away. Don’t forget that when staying at Cool Wind, you have exclusive access to the Fairmont, Royal Pavilion beach facilities which include, sunbeds, umbrellas and you can also dine in their restaurant.
