Ensi-iltapaikka! Olemme 3 minuutin päässä Camp Lucysta (samalla kadulla), 10 minuutin päässä Downtown Drippingistä, ja erittäin helppo pääsy kaikkiin muihin kaupungin paikkoihin: vain minuutteja Ma Maisoniin, Vista West Ranchiin, Cricket Hilliin ja muihin. Lähellä Deep Eddy Distilleryä, viinitiloja ja panimoita. Mutta tuntuu kuin maailmalta! Sijaitsemme 40 hehtaarilla, olemme Alexander Creek Roadilla Dripping Springsissä. Tässä upouudessa kodissa on kaikki! Vintage-tunnelma kaikilla mukavuuksilla: kaunis keittiö ruokailutila, olohuone, jossa nahkasohvat ja iso TV, sekä sähkötakka. Kolme ihanaa makuuhuonetta: kaksi ovat yksityisiä, queen-vuoteet, lipastot, TV: t, kaapit ja omat, täydet kylpyammeet. Kolmas on kerrossänky: siinä on 1 täysi sänky plus 2 lisävuodetta, jotka on kerrossänky. Silläkin on oma kylpyamme. Jokainen on kauniisti kaakeloitu, täynnä kylpyammeita, suihkut ja --- niin söpö. Siellä on myös täysi pesutupa! Ja takapiha on upea! Tuon suuren keittiön ulkopuolella on loistava latoistyylinen paviljonki! Siinä on ruokasali ulkona, noutopöydällä, istuimet ulkona, ulkogrilli (myös polttimilla), lämmittävä laatikko ja kattotuuletin. Siinä on myös paljon yksityisyyttä ja ihana vesiominaisuus. Emme ole koskaan nähneet mitään sellaista --- ja luulemme myös rakastavasi sitä! Suloisessa keittiössä on jääkaappi, mikroaaltouuni, liesi ja uuni, ja se on täysin varustettu kattiloilla, pannuilla, astioilla, astioilla, lasiesineillä ja muilla. Siinä on myös kahvila, varustettuna Keurig-kahvinkeittimellä ja kaikki herkut, jotka auttavat sinua aloittamaan päiväsi!
Etukuisti on niin kaunis. Se on iso eteläinen kuisti, joka kulkee kodin pituudella. Suuret kattotuulettimet ja valkoiset keinutuolit antavat sinun rentoutua ja nauttia maaseudun näkymistä lampille ja kukkuloille!

Helppo pääsy vuodelta 290 tarkoittaa, että olemme maassa, mutta pääset nopeasti "keskustaan" ruokailun, viihteen, ostosmahdollisuuksien ja muun kanssa: Pedernales Falls State Park, viinitilat, Johnson City, Blue Hole ja kaikki mäkimaat Tapahtumat. Wimberleyn makea kaupunki on myös lähellä, useita ravintoloita ja kauppoja. Viehättävä Fredericksburgin kaupunki on myös suuri nähtävyys, samoin kuin vaellus Enchanted Rockilla. Haluatko suurta toimintaa? Austin on noin puolen tunnin ajomatkan päässä kaikesta yöelämästä! Wonderful stay!

Thanks for a wonderful, relaxing visit! We had all we needed while there. Kitchen was adequately stocked, beds were super comfy, loved the fenced backyard with the covered sitting area. I think my favorite was the front porch that the beautiful view and the rocking chairs. The only thing missing from the front would be to extend the fence to enclose the ends of the porch to keep the dogs in. However, I came prepared with long leashes, so it worked well. I appreciated the solitude and the 40 acres that gave me a beautiful walk each morning.

Comfortable getaway

We loved sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening looking at the gorgeous landscape and grazing horses and cows. We were lucky enough to watch a lightning storm roll in over the hills. It was spectacular! The hosts were very welcoming and responded quickly to any question or request. The bathrooms were very clean and updated and the beds were memory foam and everyone got great sleep. The house is very well appointed and a lot of thought went into every aspect of this property to make it cozy and unique for guests and highlight the country life that surrounds it.

Family Christmas

We absolutely loved the country house, 5 adults were very comfortable here. It was nice that everyone had their own bathroom and we enjoyed the fenced in back yard for the dogs. It was quiet and relaxing. We only had one complaint and that was the kitchen is quite small and we like to cook, the online listing says the kitchen is equipped with pots and pans but there wasn’t a single frying pan, there is no dishwasher, and the single sink is barely big enough to wash out a large pot in, but we made do and it certainly didn’t detract from the coziness and charm of the place. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful.

This place was perfect for the six of us. The property and view are beautiful, the beds are as cozy as can be. A definite plus is each bedroom having it's own bathroom and A/C. We would definitely stay again and 100% recommend it. The owners were very accommodating and so friendly! Thank you!

Quiet country getaway

We rented the entire house (with 3 bedrooms) for Labor Day weekend for just the 2 of us and our 2 dogs, so we could breathe a little fresh air without the sounds of the city traffic. The house is very spacious and comfortable. The ductless air conditioners kept the house cool and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the big porch with the rockers, and it was so nice to see what the sky actually looks like at night. Dripping Springs is a big wedding venue, but it is hard to find suitable lodging nearby --- but this country cottage was perfect!

Country Cottage on 40 acres!!

We stayed st the Country House for a wedding at Vista West. We had 3 couples and all was really amazing. The cottage was cozy, comfortable and had lots of room for the 6 of us! The outside porch was awesome in the morning and evening with the rocking chairs and great views. I would highly recommend the property and there is a wedding facility called Wind Song that is being enlarged to accommodate around 200 people (I think). Thank you Matt and Michelle for a great stay. We will definitely be back!!

Spring Break in the Country Home

The Country Home is a very comfortable place with a stellar front porch. The layout efficiently utilizes the space especially considering there are three bedrooms each with a full bath. We were worried about 1000 sf but it is not an issue. Between the large dining table, the two couches, and several chairs, there is more than enough places to hang out inside. Outside seating is almost unlimited with the five rocking chairs on the front porch and all of the seating in the "barn". The home has a well equipped kitchen although we did not take advantage of anything except the Keuring and the refrigerator. There are four, individual, ductless heating/air conditioning units in the home each controlled independently. There is one for each bedroom and well as one in the living area. The home has DirectTV with a television in each bedroom, the front room, and one out in the "barn". The "barn' is just outside the kitchen door and it is a covered area that is closed in on two sides. It is outfitted with a large patio table and bench seating with cushions. Additionally there was a large selection of DVD's to choose from. It is a short drive into Dripping Springs and the turnoff from 290, when headed back from Dripping Springs at night, is well marked with a flashing sign and easy to find. There are several other units on the property and they are in fairly close proximity to the Country Home. You can only see one of the units from the front porch. We were concerned about privacy but it was not an issue during our stay. You can hear the traffic on 290 from the front porch but not at all inside the home. It is a very comfortable place to stay with a great location to check out Austin to the east and Johnson City to the northwest.

A great country retreat!

We stayed in the Country House over Thanksgiving and it was wonderful! Michelle and Matt have a beautiful property that is just far away enough to feel secluded, but close enough to a nice HEB and other modern amenities. The house was exactly as pictured, had plenty of kitchen necessities and overall very cozy. We had a great time and would definitely return!!

Awesome Property

Stayed for a girls' weekend for 7 and the property was awesome. Adorably decorated and well appointed. Having 3 bathrooms was awesome. Loved walking the property. And spent lots of time on the outdoor patio which was awesome Owners were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Easy drive to restaurants/wineries in Driftwood and Dripping Springs. The barn is gorgeous. Would definitely stay again.

A wonderful Thanksgiving!

Our family is from Austin but we still wanted to "get away" for the holiday. This cottage is so incredibly charming. We had extended family stay with us as well and it accommodated all of us very comfortably. We loved hanging outside in "the barn" at night and our dog loved the trail on the property. The owners were beyond friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this cottage as a perfect escape and we will be back!

And we fell in love with this beautiful spot in the country! We've always enjoyed all kinds of "hosting", and we love sharing this with others. This place is a labor of love, and our guests can feel that.

We chose this property for so many reasons: the peaceful views, the wet-weather tanks, beautiful oaks,, wildlife, and perfect location 1- a world away, but only 10 minutes into town.
- This location truly can't be beat -
Dripping Springs is so charming, with an adorable "historic district", great shopping, and fun, family-friendly options like Dreamland nearby. Natural attractions like Pedernales Falls State Park and Reimer's Ranch are minutes away, and lots of cool distilleries and wineries in our area -- a fun afternoon for all, as many have playscapes, too!)
Johnson City, Driftwood (Salt Lick BBQ) and artsy Wimberley are just down the way, as well busy, groovy Austin!
You'll enjoy the easy drive to anything you'd like to see in this piece of the hill country.
