Charming Oceanfront mökki Schoolhouse Beach

Nauti romanttinen pakopaikka kaksi tai tuoda perheen ja ystävien - joko niin, sinulla on ihanaa aikaa meidän ihana mökki meren rannalla. Aktiiviselle, ranta on vain muutaman askeleen päässä - lentää leija, piknik, rakentaa sandcastles, tutkia tidepools tai sukelluksen abalone. Saat enemmän passiivinen, siemailla viileää juomaa kannella ja nauttia upea näköala tai käpertyä takkatulen ääressä hyvän kirjan.

Kotimme sopii hyvin kahdelle pariskunnalle - kaksi makuuhuonetta joissa molemmissa on queen-vuode ja merinäköala. Siellä on kolmas makuuhuone kahdella vuoteella plus den kanssa koossa futon jos tuo perhe. Kaikki liinavaatteet tarjotaan. On myös rantaleluja, pyyhkeet, tuolit, piknik tarvikkeet, paljon kirjoja ja pelejä kaikenikäisille - ja nopea langaton internetyhteys.

Pohjois-Kalifornian rannikolla on kaunis ja rentouttava ja sinun ei tarvitse poistua talosta ollenkaan - mutta jos et, voit löytää lähes rajaton toimintaa täyttää päivät. Alueella on monia viehättäviä kyliä, kauppoja ja gallerioita täynnä paikallista taidetta ja käsitöitä, ravintoloita fabulous tuoreita meren antimia, ihana viinitilat, historiallisia kohteita ja luonnon ihmeitä yllin kyllin. Aivan varmasti palata uskomatonta auringonlaskua!

The Great Escape

This beach house has sweeping views of the ocean and you cannot beat the location. Literally a walk across the street and down a path to the sand. This house has everything plus so many extras and just thoughtful items. The owner is kind and accessible. Such a good relaxing time.

The house is in a great location with awesome views! The house was very well stocked with everything you need! Its very spacious & comfortable. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck in the sun and admiring the ocean views and people watching. You get great sunsets too! Highly recommended!!

Well-equipped beach house

Friends gathered to celebrate January birthdays. Everything was perfect — the location, the weather (absolutely gorgeous), the accommodations! The house had everything we could’ve wished for and much more. Great assortment of movies, games, and more to keep folks of all ages entertained. The host was very communicative and gracious. Highly recommend!!

The beach house was perfect for our needs. The house is older, but well maintained. The kitchen (and everything else) is well stocked. Very comfortable beds. The view is amazing from the deck and most every window.

Amazing Get Away!

We had a wonderful stay at the beach house! It was abundantly clear that the owner takes great care into creating a great experience for their guests. Best stay ever!!!!

OMGosh where do I start…we have always looked at this neighborhood and talked about how awesome the location is. This is the first time we have actually stayed here and this home made our stay even better than we imagined. The home was very clean, beds were warm and comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms were beyond well stocked. Internet was good and our Verizon cell phone had no trouble. The communication with the host was exceptional, even on the holiday. We are already planning our next trip here.

AMAZING

Words can't describe this home. My sister came to stay with us and she just got back from traveling cross country and said she was so happy being in this home, stating it blows every state she just crossed out the water! My husband and I were so in love staying in this home we only dreamed to own it. It was perfect, I only wish we had more time. We hope to get away in this home in the future.

Perfect Getaway

The beach house is very clean, homey, comfortable, full of ammenities, and supplies. It's perfect for a large family, group of people, or a couple. It has large and clean windows to see beautiful Schoolhouse Cove. The bed we used was more comfortable than our Tempurpedic! We didn't want to leave! If you stay during cold weather, bring space heaters for the bathrooms. The rest of the house is very comfortable with the use of modern split level heat and airconditioners.

We enjoyed our visit very much. Lots of room, lots of puzzles( we did 2 a day),cooked up a storm. One small disappointment — it is not actually ocean front, but is across road from ocean. We had a major scare the first time exiting driveway. Nearly broadsided by truck speeding around blind curve. You need to gun it when doing a left out of drive. Would we rent again? Yes, as it is a good price and we liked being not in Bodega Bay. Schoolhouse Beach is a beauty and made of smooth pebbles, not sand.

Right on the cliffs, Everything you could want

The photos are accurate - you really have this cliff-side view of the ocean for whale watching or crashing wave watching, right from your window or patio chair. Huge windows from all front rooms let you dream away watching waves as you have breakfast, listen to the TV, read on the patio or chat over sodas and chips. The owners have stocked everything you could ever want in the drawers, cupboards and closets, from cooking condiments to soaps to games and books to Keurig coffee fixin’s to utensils and dishware. They haven’t forgotten flashlights, binoculars, extra batteries and lovely conversation-piece decor. Large rooms, separate temperature controls, comfy beds, new furniture. I enjoyed the high stools at the bar at one end of the living room where I could watch the waves and the cable movies at the same time while I ate my take-out chowder and bbq ribs. We didn’t bring our dog this time, but there is ample space for potty breaks. The owner spoke by phone when I had questions, a very pleasant and happy person, humble about her wonderful property. We felt safe, comfortable and as at-home as you possibly could. Just a few minutes’ drive down to Bodega Bay for shopping, whale tours and dining, and maybe 15-20 minute drive up to Jenner for more beautiful shops and coastal scenery. I can’t think of a thing I’d change about this spacious and scenic home.

Fantastic beach house with great ocean view

Great ocean views. So clean & beachy. Beach just steps away. Would definitely come back but would stay longer. Spuds great clam chower not too far from cottage.

I am an entrepreneur and workaholic. I have been an editor of a scientific journal, a travel agent, a paralegal, a real estate agent and property manager, a commodity trader, a financial newsletter editor, and resident neighborhood psychic.

I currently produce video biographies of seniors, interviewing them and recording some of their family history and stories so they can be permanently saved on DVD for future generations.

I have helped raise 7 children. I love to read, garden, dance, travel and practically have my own personal zoo. I am a gatherer of information about almost anything. And I have an incredible husband, Jeff, who puts up with all my nonsense.

My parents bought the cottage more than 50 years ago. It is the closest beach community to the Sacramento area. It is close to San Francisco, Sausalito, Berkeley, Napa Valley and Sonoma wine country. I grew up spending vacations there and so did my children. It is a great place to share with family and friends.

It is only a minute out the front door down the path onto the beach. But if you don't feel like a walk, you can lie in bed, sit on the sofa or at the dining room table, or out on the deck and have a wonderful view of the ocean and the waves crashing on the rocks. I never tire of the wonderful sunsets - every one is different but terrific in its own way.

And the most amazing thing - you can actually see millions of stars because the night sky is so dark. We also have deer, lots of shorebirds, and great tidepools.
