Beyond the kitchenette is a king bedroom with super comfortable mattress and Henry Link furnishings. There is an additional space behind the apartment that houses a washer and dryer shared with the neighboring suite. The queen sized sofa bed in the living room allows for an additional guest or two for a modest additional charge. The bathroom is modern with a walk in shower that has both a handheld shower head and a ceiling mounted rain shower head. The bathroom also features a heated floor. Sanitized bed and bath linens are provided but bring your own beach towels.
Step out the front door, turn right and in less than 100 feet you will be on Mason Avenue, the main commercial street in Cape Charles with many specialty shops and eateries. As a matter of fact, Kelly’s Gingernut Pub is right at the intersection and Brown Dog Ice Cream is less than a half block away if you turn left at the intersection. If you turn right on Mason, it’s a short two blocks to the uncrowded Cape Charles Beach on the Chesapeake Bay. There is space behind the apartment to store beach chairs, wash off sandy feet annd hang beach towels to dry.
