Mickey's Magic Retreat - Condo in Gated Community with Private Back Patio & Hot Tub! by RedAwning

You'll step right into the magic of Disney the moment you enter Mickey's Magic Retreat. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom townhome is located in Terra Verde Resort, a quiet gated community in Kissimmee, FL. The community is located just a short drive to theme parks and other Orlando area attractions.


This bright and vibrant townhome has its own private backyard space with a hot tub, Adirondack chairs for relaxing and a patio table for outdoor dining. It's the perfect spot to unwind after a busy day exploring the theme parks.


Each bedroom is filled with lovely décor - the Mickey theme is present in most rooms in the house. There are three bedrooms with the following bedding: 


* Bedroom 1: King bed

* Bedroom 2: Queen Bed

* Bedroom 3: Two Twin Beds



Each bedroom has sufficient closet and drawer space so you can unpack and relax, just like you're at home! All bedrooms have a flat screen TV. There are 2.5 bathrooms, and both full bathrooms have a shower and one with a shower/tub combo. We also have a washer/dryer and iron/ironing board for guests to use during their stay.


The kitchen has all of the appliances and cooking utensils needed for your stay, including a dishwasher, and there is a dining table which comfortably seats 6 guests. Wifi is available throughout the townhome, and if guests need to work remotely during their stay the table makes a great spot to work, or you might even enjoy working from the patio!


Guests will also have access to the outdoor community pool which is perfect on those hot Summer days!


Our townhome is a 35 minute drive from Orlando International Airport (MCO). There is also a Walmart Supercenter, Aldi and Publix super markets nearby for stocking up on groceries.

Joan and John’s property was great. Very well maintained and lots of little extras that helped us out with our stay. Maintenance guy did show up unannounced on the second day to replace batteries in the lock. (I did not care for that because I did not know who he was or if the owners were aware of the visit - we should have been notified). The listing online also said nothing about an additional $20 fee to use a “key card” to gain access to the gated community. In the grand scheme of things $20 isn’t a big deal just left a bad taste in my mouth. Just include it in the total cost, don’t charge your guests extra to gain access to the rental they already paid for.

A great stay with lots of little amenities!
This place didn’t have me running to the store everyday for little things like I have had happen in the past. My only complaint was not having real beach towels for the hot tub and pool. Bath towels just don’t cut it, even though there are plenty. We weren’t here to watch tv but the internet package was very bare bones and the internet wasn’t great for the smart TVs apps. Easy location to everywhere.
