Kaunis rauhallinen mökki pitkällä järvellä

Nauti kaikista kesä- ja talviurheilustasi heti Chippewan kansallisessa Forrestissa tänä vuonna upeassa pienessä viehättävässä lomamökissä Long Lake -kadulla. Mikään kesä ei ole täydellinen viettämättä aikaa järveen meloa kohti, melontaa, melontaa tai makuulla roisketyynyä nauttien säteitä ystävien ja perheen kanssa. Rentoudu upeassa huoneessa, jossa on upea kivitakka, iso taulutelevisio ja näkymä järvelle. Kolmen vuodenajan kuistilla vieraat voivat kerätä ja katsella luontoa parhaimmillaan. Nauti aamukahvista ja illallisista suurella järven rannalla ja kääri päiväsi tulen äärellä järven rannalla. Sinulla on kaunis näkymä järvelle, jossa yläpuolella lentävät kuikot ja kotkat. Niille valoisalle, aurinkoiselle kauniille päivälle aamulla, keskipäivällä tai iltaisin ,, viettäkää aikaa yksityisellä lomakeskuksen tyyppisellä rannalla ja nauti melonta (2), melonta (2), vesipyörä tai kanootti järven ympärillä. Muuten hyppää vain laiturilta, roikkuu rannalla ja nauti rentoutumisesta 16 ”roiskematolla. Yleisön puutteellinen pääsy on noin puolen mailin päässä. Tuo oma vesikulkusi tai vuokra lähistöllä. He jopa toimittavat ja poimivat julkisesta järven pääsystä! (Ota meihin lisätietoja.) Mukana on myös internet, kaapeli-tv ja dvd-soitin / PS4-pelijärjestelmä, erilaisia lautapelikortteja ja joitain kirjoja sateisiin päiviin. Niin hauskaa kuin järvi on tämä koti ei ole lasten todisteita. Chalet-tilavat mukavat majoitukset ovat ihanteellisia yhden perheen lomille, tyttöjen lomalle, golfaajille, kanooneille, kalastajille, metsästäjille tai vieraille, jotka haluavat rauhallisen yksinäisyyden maaseudulla. Ole hyvä ja keskustele omistajien kanssa, jos vuokralaiset aikovat tulla päivä- / ilta- tai yötä varten loman aikana. (Jokaisesta yli 6 hengen juhlasta veloitetaan lisämaksu). Lovely Chalet Stay!

We had a great week on Long Lake in this chalet! Everything is exactly as described and pictured. It was very clean and comfortable. Katheryn even left us some welcome treats! There were plenty of indoor and outdoor games and activities as well. Our favorite thing to do was relaxing on the beach and playing on the lily pad in the water. The beds are so comfortable, my son said he had his best sleep ever! Thanks again for a memorable stay, we can’t wait to return!

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time at the Chalet. The owner was very responsive to our questions. The Chalet is exactly as pictured. The lake is beautiful. Swam multiple days. Great fishing mainly pan fish was caught but fun! It was great to have the various house games and outdoor water toys throughout the week. We brought up our pontoon and the boat launch was very easy to navigate. Able to beach it in the sandy area and tie it down. Thank you for a wonderful week! water

A perfect getaway!

The cabin/chalet is even better than the pictures and the description is spot on. We wish we had stayed longer to enjoy more time at this beautiful property. The cabin was impeccably clean and we were so impressed by all of the small touches that made this place special. It had everything our family of five needed and a lot more. Katheryn is absolutely lovely! We can't wait to stay here again.

Great Getaway

The property is very well maintained and Katheryn and Ken are great hosts! My family had a blast on the hydro bike, paddle boards and catwalk all provided at the property. We also rented a boat and enjoyed catching all kinds of fish (northern pike, bluegill, bass, crappie). This was the perfect getaway from the city!

Beautiful home with lots to do!

We stayed 5 nights here and had the best time! We loved having the kayaks, paddle boards, and water bike! They had more amenities, but we didn’t use them. We were to busy catching fish on beautiful Long Lake. Listing was exactly as described. The deck was wonderful for relaxing and enjoying my morning coffee. Lots of seating and a fun hammock type lounger that my daughter loved. Kathryn was an amazing hostess, we had a wonderful goodie basket left for us with s’mores stuff, a delicious loaf of cinnamon bread and cold water in the fridge. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

A beautiful slice of MN

We stayed here as I had a wedding in Walker, MN. It is just as described and pictured. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, even leaving me cookies as a birthday gift and a loaf of delicious cinnamon bread. Kitchen well stocked. House is lovely as is dock and lake area. Very secluded. Drive to Longville is easy, with a small grocery and ice cream. We were busier with wedding stuff than anticipated and Walker was a little more of a haul than I had thought (20-25 min, be careful with loads of deer at night) so we didn’t utilize the lake as much as I had hoped but the kayaks and SUPs were great and I enjoyed my morning coffee on the dock in tranquility. Very kind neighbors too. Everything was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. Thank you!

Great Family Getaway

We really enjoyed our time here. It was quiet and peaceful and had something for everyone. Our kids enjoyed the beach, canoe, kayaks, and fishing off the dock. Owner was easy to work with and very communicative. The lake was very calm and clear.

Comfortable lake house

My first comment is always about the accuracy of the listing. Everything was just as advertised plus a little better. The house was clean, comfortable, and well accessorized. There were many entertainment features available. Their dock was easy to use for our boat and there was a nearby boat launch. There were many items available to use in the lake. Fishing was good too. Finally the neighbors were pleasant and parking was abundant.

Perfect Spot!

We feel so lucky to have found this place. The chalet is beautiful, comfortable, and truly the most well-appointed rental I’ve stayed in through both VRBO and AirBnB. It had everything from kitchen kitchen tools to watercraft and made the stay so easy and enjoyable. The beach on the property has great sun coverage all day and trees on the side for those who prefer shade. And we were stunned at what a beautiful lake it was—extremely clear and clean with lots of preserved shoreline. Many thanks! We definitely hope to revisit!

Great family memories

Kathryn was great and easy to work with. We had lots of questions, as We’ve been using VRBO for the past five years for annual winter and summer getaways. To help future guests, here are what we saw as pros and cons. Pros: The lake is quiet, beautiful, clean water and perfect size. The location is great, close to town. Owner provides lots of extras (kayak, paddleboard etc). The inside of the cabin is adorable and exactly as pictured. Again, owner was wonderful. Cons: The beach was not quite as nice as photos ( partly because water high this year) but my husband worked on it and made it near perfect. The yard was not quite as flat for yard games as was thought, but we improvised. The deck probably could’ve been cleaned up a bit more. Chairs etc were dirty and had cob webs (but my husband cleaned those up too). Minor detail but could be important to some. There is not A/C. This didn’t affect us too much but we had perfect weather. All in all, this one was close to perfect and we have lots of experience with VRBO.

We loved the cabin!

The owner and property was spectacular! Great location and great cabin. It was far enough off the beaten path to be quiet, but an easy drive to town to pick up a few things. The shore had a nice sandy beach and everything in the cabin was well maintained. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants some peace and quiet, or even families.

So worth it.

We had such a good time, great place with good friends. Now that we are all a little older and we've all seperated and are well into our lives, we needed a break from reality. We left our jobs, our kids, and our worries at home. After the initial little things that always happen in a new place, the owners were only a phone call away and immediatly got us snug as a bug. The place is beautiful, we were able to do everything we needed too, everyone was able to shower, no waiting in lines for bathrooms, for food in the kitchen, or finding a place to perch like you do with a big number. Everything went off perfect without a hitch. The boys even went for a hike across the lake in hip deep snow just to say they did it. We couldnt have asked for a better weekend or better "rental landlords". Thank you guys for everything.

Great place, great hosts

We had a wonderful experience reserving the chalet and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It was well maintained. Windows can be a bit drafty in the winter (-20F), but between the blanket and the baseboard heat it was more than fine. Plenty of household goods for cooking and easy access to the lake at the landing just down the road. We'd stay again!

Beautiful cabin and location

We took a family vacation here and it was perfect. Sandy beach for the little ones, very comfortable modern cabin, and the lake is clear with great fishing. We highly recommend!

Amazing vacation at the Chalet

Our family had a wonderful time at the Chalet. The kids loved to use all the water toys available. The view from the deck was spectacular. Grandpa and grandma loved listening to the call of the loons throughout the day. The interior of the house gave that up north feeling. Another highlight was the sandy beach and swimming area. The lake was great for fishing and tubing, felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves for most of the week. The owners were easy to work with and answered all of our questions. Would definitely recommend this house to others. Thanks for a memorable week at your cabin.

Great!

Our family has rented many VRBO properties over the years and this is one of the finest. We had a super July 4th week. It began with Katheryn and Jeff (the owners) sending us a message that their chalet was ready for our arrival at least three hours before the scheduled time. Then, when we arrived, we found a nice note and a pan of fresh lemon bars for our family. What a treat! The chalet was very clean and had plenty of room for our seven member family. We especially liked the large elevated deck overlooking the lake where we had morning coffee watching the loons and Eagles. The lake is great for swimming and we enjoyed the wide array of water toys provided with the rental. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances and the grandkids enjoyed the video games when it was raining. We rented a pontoon boat for the week and had fun cruising the lake, watching the July 4th boat parade, and we even caught some nice crappies and bluegills. We would not hesitate to rent this chalet again.

Great cabin!

We had a great time at this Long Lake cabin! It was a pleasant surprise to find that the house was actually nicer than the pictures! The vaulted ceilings really make it feel spacious, and the beach and dock were nicer than I expected. The house is well stocked with dishes and amenities, including many water toys (canoe, kayak, paddle boards, water bike) which are easy to use with the beach access. we had 2 young kids (4 and 6), and they had a blast, although the cabin has some dangerous stairs for kids who are really young (I'd say under 4). They would need constant supervision while in the house. The only downsides were the WiFi gets very slow if several people are using it, and the bathrooms don't have locks. Otherwise, it's well worth the money and is much nicer and more private than a resort. The owners were very nice, willing to help, and were very generous with check-in/out times. They also left some brownies for us which were delicious, thanks!

We enjoy the peaceful solitude that water, woods and nature provides. We are home grown, both growing up in MN our whole lives.
