Paterson Skywalk was a vision that took me a decade bring to reality. I bought a bush block with a beautiful view of the Paterson Valley, with the river and the village in the foreground and the bush covered hills behind, and built a home. This is a one bedroom house with a queen double bed, a single trundle bed, and a detached bush bedroom. It is my home and I visit friends and family when the house is booked so there is a large fridge for you to use while you are here. The cereals, teas, coffees, bread and local produce that you see in the pictures are all for you to use while you are here. The Bush Bedroom is 20 metres from the house (up 14 steps) with a standard double bed. It has power and internet but occupants have to come to the house for bathroom/ toilet/ kitchen. The bush bedroom is available with the house to bookings of 3-5 people, or it can be booked alone as a glamping experience for 1-2 people, in which case I will still be in the house and you will have to share the kitchen, bathroom and toilet with me. Please message me for more details if you are interested in this option. I haven't figured out how to list it separately yet.
Paterson has a lovely historic walk and Dungog is 25 minutes away by train or car, as is Maitland. The Pokolbin vineyards are 45 minutes to the South, and the base of the Barrington Tops with swimming holes in crystal clear rivers is 45 minutes to the North. If you bring your car there is free parking at my front door, or you can come here on the train from just about anywhere, the station is a 10 minute walk. The house is less than 5 years old and everything works perfectly with the exception of what looks like a corner spa bath in the pictures, which is great for a hot bath or shower but does not make bubbles. All the photos in this listing were taken on my property.
