Ranger's Ahven on upea, tilava huvila hyvÀpalkkaisella Sabadecon naapurustossa. Jos etsit bonafide-saaren pyhÀkköÀ, ÀlÀ etsi enÀÀ. SisÀÀn porttimme, ja vehreistÀ, maisemoiduista puutarhoista kauniille uima-altaan alueelle olet varmasti kadonnut upeaan trooppiseen ympÀristöösi. Huvilan toisesta tarinasta voi nauttia upeat nÀkymÀt Karibianmerelle ja Klein Bonairelle. Seulottu kansi kulkee kodin pituudelta, josta puutarhaan, uima-altaalle ja (tietysti) merelle ei ole puutetta. Suuri ulkoterassi istuu myös turvatarkastusalueen vieressÀ. TÀltÀ terassilta ei löydy parempaa nÀkymÀÀ auringonlaskuista meren yli ja seuraavasta loistavasta tÀhtitaivasta. Aamuisin voit siemailla kahvia jollakin nÀistÀ alueista, kun nautit nÀkymÀstÀ merelle, jota tÀydentÀvÀt vierailevien papukaijojen ja muiden lintujen ÀÀnet ja nÀhtÀvyydet.

Sukeltajille ja snorklaajille tÀmÀ huvila on erityinen ja harvinainen yllÀtys. Puutarhan portin kautta voi pÀÀstÀ viheralueelle, jonka kÀyttö on yksinomaan tÀlle huvilalle ja muutamalle vÀlittömÀlle naapurille. 1-2 minuutin kÀvelymatka konkreettiselta jalkakÀytÀvÀltÀ viheralueen keskustan lÀpi vie sinut suoraan merelle! SieltÀ löydÀt terÀsportaat veteen sukellusta, snorklausta ja uintia varten. Aivan rannalla YKSITYISKOHTAISESTA sukelluskohteestasi ovat suositut sukelluspaikat "Oil Slick Leap" ja "1000 Steps". Aivan rannalla sijaitsevat sukelluspaikat "Andrea I" ja "Andrea II". Kun sukellus on valmis, ohita vain takaisin taloon, huuhtele vaihde joko uima-altaan suihkutilassa tai suuressa sukellushuoneen pesuallassa ja heitÀ se sukellushuoneen kuivaustelineelle! Olet nyt valmis toiselle kierrokselle!

Ranger's Ahven toisen kerroksen makuuhuoneessa on sekÀ oma parveke ettÀ iso, oma terassi (molemmilta on laajat nÀkymÀt Karibianmerelle). Ole hyvÀ ja nauti pÀÀllikkökylvyn upeista marmoripinnoista! YlimÀÀrÀisillÀ makuuhuoneilla on oma sisÀÀnkÀynti, joka aukeaa uima-altaan ala-alueelle. Huoneissa on oma kylpyhuone, jÀljittelemÀllÀ isÀntÀkylvyn kaunista marmoria. NÀmÀ huoneet ovat tÀysin varustettuja ja yksityisiÀ. NeljÀnnessÀ, kahden hengen makuuhuoneessa on viereinen kylpyhuone.

TÀmÀ huvila on onnellinen vastaanottaja joillekin Bonairen miellyttÀvistÀ, viileistÀ tuulista! Kun tuulet eivÀt kuitenkaan riitÀ, huvilassa on ilmastointi kaikkialla.

TÀysin varusteltu keittiö tarjoaa vieraille mahdollisuuden nauttia aterioita kotona. Ateriaa ei ole parempaa kuin ilmakehÀ, jota löytyy istuessaan kannen ruokailutilassa auringon laskiessa meren yli. KÀytettÀvissÀsi on myös iso, ruostumaton BBQ-grilli.

Great house and great owner.

House is amazing. Can accommodate four different groups with no issues and the Kitchen is amazing. Pool is great for lounging and you even get to visit with the local lizards and parrots. Owner is super nice and accommodating even allowing us another night when our flights changed for no additional charge. Don't hesitate to rent this great home for a great vacation.

Ranger Perch Rocks

We love Ranger's Perch. It's in a great location, has a beautiful view to watch the sunset, is safe, and has plenty of space for groups to cook, eat, and relax by the pool or the screened in porch. The screened in porch is the best; we spent almost all our time there and could enjoy the breezes without any mosquitos!

Perfect in Every Way

This home exceeded our expectations. We spent the week diving and this home was a great retreat to plan our dives and relax after a busy day blowing bubbles. Located close to Oil Slick Leap, Andrea I and II was a bonus. Maureen is the best host/hostess I have ever worked with, and was extremely responsive. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Paradise

The morning after we arrived at Ranger’s Perch I surely woke up in paradise. The balcony off our bedroom was tree top level where 2 parrots were finding breakfast. The pool was like a beautiful oasis in our courtyard. The home is palatial in size & the kitchen amazing with views in 3 directions.

Great Large Villa!

Wow! We had a great stay in this villa. The owners were wonderful to work with and were able to accommodate a couple of our special requests. Great pool. We used the beach path to the ocean every day for snorkeling and diving. Screened porch was wonderful for hanging-out in the evening without bug bites. The rooftop deck was our favorite spot to enjoy beverages and wonderful sunsets over the water. This was a wonderful home for our two families' Bonaire vacation. Highly recommended villa and owners!

Stop looking and book now!

Rancher’s Perch made our week stay on Bonaire complete. Four adult couples stayed at the house with plenty of room to spare! Very clean and comfortable, location is great. The 2 minute walk down to the water is a breeze and great place to see some lizards. Snorkeling off the ladder was very easy and we saw lots of fish. Maureen was so responsive in all my questions before we left and Frederick the property manager was SO nice and so responsive anytime I messaged him. I cannot recommend this house enough, will definitely be back!

Peaceful Repose

The property photos don't do it justice. The real experience is far superior. Great breeze day and night. Spectacular views. Easy access to town. Kitchen was well equipped but we only used for breakfast and lunch. Plenty of unique dining places in town. All with different offerings and all very tasty. From the roominess of the house, to the pool, to the great snorkeling and diving off the back beach access, this was the best choice for our family. Hope others will give Ranger's Perch due consideration for a relaxing time away.

A spacious villa for a relaxing vacation

We enjoyed our stay at Ranger's Perch with the huge screened in porch on the upper floor with wonderful views. Taking a dip in the pool was a perfect end to a day of snorkeling various sites around the island. Having the ability to cool the bedrooms at night and have open breezes across the house during the day worked very well. We highly recommend this spacious villa for vacations with two families or families with older children who like having their own bedroom and bathroom space. The master bedroom also had a roll away bed for our younger son, which was perfect. The large kitchen made it easy for multiple cooks to work together. Maureen was a fabulous host who was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay.

Private sanctuary

My wife and I wery very, very happy with theis property. We thought the pool was wonderful/ It was only my wife and I , there is room for 4 couples to spread out or come together in multiple areas. This was our 7th visit to Bonaire and we have several houses over the years.When I asked my wife if she would like to return for an 8th visit to Bonaire, she told me yes IF we can stay at Rangers Perch.!! The ladder for access to the ocean could be challenging for someone older or younger esp. on a windy day, it was a great feature. Maureen and her people are doing a great job.

Amazing 2 weeks

We spent an amazing two weeks at Ranger's Perch in Bonaire recently. There were 4 couples and the house fulfilled all of our needs. It was comfortable and beautiful! Enough room that we were never on top of each other and you could certainly find a quiet space if needed. The pool and outside patio was so relaxing; 3 of us spent much time at the pool while the other 5 were diving. We cooked half our meals in the wonderful huge kitchen. And last but not least, the beds were extremely comfortable. It was everything we imagined it to be and more!! And will definitely stay again in the future, if available. Simply Amazing!

I can't say enough about this property - it is just perfect! We've stayed in many different rentals in Bonaire and this is by far the best! There are so many places to sit and relax and enjoy the views from every angle. The pool is a perfect place to relax after a day of diving or windsurfing. The kitchen is more than well equipped and the professional stove is an inspiration! We ate in most nights just because it was so fun to cook there and enjoy a better view than you could get at most restaurants! And the bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable we're buying that same mattress for home! Maureen and her crew were so very attentive and accommodating - there was a response within minutes of request! I would highly recommend this lovely home situated perfectly on this wonderful island. Thanks again Maureen - we'll be back!!

Wonderful!!!

Nothing but an excellent experience from our first contact with Maureen in April to throughout our stay over the NewYear holiday. The home is beautiful, private, spacious, and equipped with everything needed from cooking/eating utensils to plenty of bath & beach towels. We especially enjoyed the huge screened in porch for eating & playing games at night. The master suite is 5 stars! And the pool area is beautifully landscaped and a wonderful area to relax. We were met at the airport by their local property manager who gave us a very thorough & helpful orientation to the property. Maureen herself sent us much helpful info months ahead of our trip and there is also a notebook of helpful info at the house to refer to for answers to many common questions. When we return to Bonaire, which we certainly hope to do, we would love to come “home” to Ranger’s Perch again! Enjoy!!

WWCSL - Wish We Could Stay Longer

This is our 10th visit to Bonaire for diving. We usually stay in Belnem area. We decided to try the Santa Barbara neighborhood. Rangers Perch has a great view of the ocean from the top floor. Bonus was the screened in porch which is a rare find. Also, there is less construction noise and dust than in the southern area of the island. Loved waking up to the sound of Lora's, goats, donkeys and various wildlife. House is huge. Top floor is the primary bedroom, living, kitchen and dining. The rest of the bedrooms are on the ground floor by the pool. Screened windows on most of the top floor windows were great to keep out the mosquitoes. Only complaint was that the bedrooms on the ground floor could use screened windows/doors to prevent the musty smell and mosquitoes, even with ac on. Landscaping was beautiful. Dove off the house reef path and saw some octopus. Very nice. Beware the ladder is a little tricky but not horrible. Additional random thoughts: pool deck was not slippery or hot. Regular drip coffee maker (not pods) which was nice. House of many doors and confusing light switches, which we liked to goof on. Check in was actually 4 pm. (not a big deal after the truck pick up and grocery run depending on your flight). Nice area to clean/dry scuba gear. There was no mid week cleaning-just to clarify. Enjoyed our stay and appreciated the house and amenities.

Enjoyed a fabulous week with 2 other couples at this lovely home. It is set up perfectly for divers with tubs for rinsing gear and areas to hang wetsuits etc. but would also be great for visitors who prefer to snorkel, enjoy the pool, head into town for some shopping or dining etc. It was great to have so much space and so many areas to enjoy different activities. The upper deck is a perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee and sunset toasts. Great to have such easy access to the BBQ and kitchen from this spot. The screened in porch area was perfect for evening meals or just hanging out. The kitchen is quite well stocked and it was a bonus to find a cooler, several re-useable water bottles, and shopping bags to use. Lovely new fridge provided ample space for groceries. We did need to purchase our own dishwasher tabs and laundry detergent but otherwise, many extras were available eg. coffee filters, plastic wrap, tinfoil, a few spices. The owners provide a binder with lots of helpful information about the home and area. There are also lots of books and games available - even some books on identifying the many varieties of fish and coral. Quite a unique experience to be able to walk down the path and go diving or snorkelling on the 'house reef'. The pool is lovely though very deep so would not be suitable for guests with younger children. The house is situated in a very quiet cul-de-sac so very peaceful - other than the songbirds which were lovely to hear. It does take about 15-20 minutes to drive back into town so best to plan ahead for buying groceries or other items. Overall, we would highly recommend this location and would definitely consider returning.

Great Villa with a Gorgeous View

From my first contact, Maureen was a pleasure to work with, responding quickly to my questions and always helpful with both information about Ranger’s Perch and activities on the island. She and the property Manager, Marie, were available to answer any of our questions during our stay. Sabedeco is our favorite location to stay on the island as it’s quiet and provides larger accommodations but is only a short drive into town and the many restaurants, shops and dive sites. While we were only a party of two, this is a great home for a large family or group of people. With each bedroom having its own bathroom you couldn’t get it any better. As we cook most of our own meals we found the large kitchen big enough for the two of us to cook at the same time, and, having two sinks is a dream. Ranger’s Perch’s spacious rooms are easily able to accommodate a large family or group of friends. The larger master bedroom with ensuite bathroom (shower and tub) made getting ready simple and the numerous drawers provided all the space necessary for our clothes. While we didn’t use the lower bedrooms, they had recently been re-decorated and looked great! The living area has screens on all the windows which allows for a nice breeze throughout the upstairs. Off the living room is another screened-in area with a dining table and sitting area that overlooks the pool. In the evening we enjoyed the roof top patio with its cooling breeze and beautiful view of the ocean. We didn’t use the pool much as we prefer the ocean, however, the grounds are nicely landscaped with mature trees and vegetation. It didn’t hurt that it was only a short walk down to the water for a swim. As avid scuba divers, the house is close to some of the best dive sites on the island including Andrea II, Oil Slick, 1000 steps and Karpata. After diving it was great to have the large indoor laundry room with rinse tank and gear rack for our scuba gear. The Marks.

Beautiful and Relaxing

What a beautiful property. My friends and I had a lovely time at this home. Maureen and her family are excellent hosts; they have been very communicative over the past few months as we have had various questions for our first visit to Bonaire. The house is spacious with plenty of room for everyone. The upper deck off the kitchen is a beautiful, quiet space for watching the sunrise or set with either coffee or a cocktail in hand. The huge screened in porch/dining room was perfect for dinner and reviewing dive photos from the day. My favorite space when not diving or cooking was the pool. Deeper than the average pool, so I guess it's about 5-6 feet deep....had to be on tiptoes at the middle section and couldn't touch bottom at the furthest area; an absolute joy to float and chat! The kitchen is huge with plenty of room for up to five people to cook, prep and carry items in and out. Maureen has tried to think of everything when it comes to plenty of plates, glasses etc. The stove is a commercial Garland so if you are not used to gas, you might be a bit intimidated at first, but you should quickly get used to it. Bedrooms are large, each with their own bathroom and air conditioning unit. Linens are all high end and beds are all very comfortable. There is a very nice setup for gear just off the pool with rinse buckets and lines for hanging as well as the laundry room which has racks for hanging gear. Definitely diver friendly! This house has a little of everything for everyone. A gourmet kitchen for the cooks, great pool for bubble watchers and great setup for divers to easily rinse and prep their gear. The dive site off the property was a bit offputting for me, just because it's a bit of a walk with gear on and there is a small runged ladder to the water. However, I truly enjoyed the site as a snorkel. I definitely plan to visit Bonaire again and hopefully will rent this lovely home again. Maureen and her family are wonderful and amazing hosts!

Views, breezes, and tranquility!

We enjoyed this lovely oasis for an 8-night family vacation in July and it was one of the best VRBO homes we have rented! Very personal and informative check-in/out which was very useful. The views and the outdoor spaces were spectacular and the interior was comfortably furnished and spacious. Beds are comfortable, a/c worked well to cool the living room and all the bedrooms but the kitchen stays quite warm- even with the fan and all the cross-breezes. Not a big deal as spent most of out time in the ocean or in the pool! Oven was tricky but the new BBQ was terrific! We had plenty of room to hang all our wet items and dive gear outside and having the use of a washer/dryer was really nice. The location is a bit north of town and was super close to the most incredible diving. The neighborhood is peaceful safe, and absolutely quiet. We did need to contact the property management host for a minor issue with the gate opener FOB. They were very nice but we were stuck behind the gates for an hour waiting to get the truck out. Maybe a emergency bypass (?) Just a few suggestions for future guests- a few more kitchen tools: colander, coffee grinder (the market's pre-ground coffee is very fine and clogged the flat-bottom coffee maker), knife sharpening tool, maybe a few food storage containers, and definitely a few more cleaning supplies to help keep the kitchen tidy. Thank you again Maureen- we had an amazing vacation!

Wish we could have stayed longer...

The house is wonderful and the property managers, Leanne and Dez, were extremely helpful with all our questions and addressing a couple of minor issues. It is a perfect location for accessing dive sites, grocery stores, and restaurants for dinner. Since not all of us were divers, the pool and the several porches/patios provided many options for relaxation. The screened-in porch was especially nice, keeping bug bites to a minimum. The upper deck was great for star gazing after dinner. We followed the recommendations to only run the AC at night and all units were great at cooling the rooms. Keeping the doors closed during the day kept the temperature at a reasonable level until the sun went down. We highly recommend Ranger's Perch!
