Blue Marine - Quiet Charming Villa - Stunning Sea Views

Located on the central west coast of Barbados, Blue Marine offers exquisite panoramic views of the Caribbean sea and is situated in a safe and quiet neighbourhood that is only a 12 minute walk to top-rated, stunning Barbados beaches. There is a spacious terrace with multiple seating areas, inviting guests to enjoy outdoor living at its finest, day and night. The relaxed and spacious villa is surrounded by tropical gardens and offers a wonderful blend of indoor and outdoor living, perfect for Caribbean life.

The large, inviting spaces, indoors and outdoors with spectacular views. You can easily spend your days at the house lounging around, swimming, playing games, eating alfresco, and relaxing. When you are looking to get out, you’re minutes away from delicious restaurants and bars, beach bars, spectacular beaches, snorkelling, scuba diving, water sports, catamaran cruises, swimming with sea turtles, golfing, tennis, shopping and more!

The ground floor of the house consists of a fully equipped kitchen, private office, laundry room, indoor living and dining room that opens onto a large and spacious terrace with a private pool surrounded by a large deck (partly covered for shade and daytime use) with loungers, relaxed seating, alfresco dining, a wet bar and a BBQ; off the kitchen, there is an attached gazebo for additional dining and relaxing, perfect for everything from morning coffee to evening drinks. There are ceiling fans in every indoor room and in covered outdoors spaces to keep the house cool and breezy. All outdoor areas have spectacular views of the gardens and ocean.

The upstairs of the house sleeps six and consists of three bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms, generous closets, ceiling fans and air conditioning; all bedroom windows have screens to keep out mosquitos. The master bedroom has a king bed, a small workspace with a desk, a balcony with seating that overlooks the ocean, and large bathroom with a separate tub and shower. The second bedroom has a king bed and gets early morning sun. The third bedroom has two twin beds with an ocean view.

Please note that there are two security cameras outside that monitor the front door and the driveway. There are no other cameras on the property.

Great house in a wonderful location
The house was the perfect base for our holiday. Great location with wonderful views 6-7 minutes walk to the beach at Ju Jus. My 16 year old summed it up by saying "the inside is nice but the outside is different level". But it isn't just the views; its how appealing, spacious but also connected the pool deck and outside areas are. Each of us found at least one favourite spot with no hint of competition as there are plenty to choose from. The kitchen has everything you need. Bedrooms have comfortable beds, effective aircon units, nice ensuites and all are a good size, particularly the master which also has a lovely balcony, ideal for a morning coffee. The property management service was very good. Maria was most welcoming on arrival and quickly on hand when we needed her to sort a couple of minor issues. Cleaning, linens and towels twice during our stay, and pool cleaning was just right. Information provided by Martin and Lauren is comprehensive including some excellent food recommendations. We were out on most days but what a place to come back to in the afternoon! I would take a dip in the pool and then gaze over the tropical gardens and houses below to the sea, rum punch or beer in hand.

The property description doesn't do it justice. Perfect location, 5 minute walk from the beach, where you can walk to Holetown along the shoreline, or rent a chair and enjoy the beach Easy drive to all attractions/beaches on the west side. The house itself has an expansive covered outdoor patio where you can sit and watch the beautiful sunsets every night. The house has everything you need, the staff- housekeeper, gardener, pool tech, and property manager were all very friendly and easy to contact. The information provided by the owner is extensive and very accurate- the most we have seen in our 15 years of using VRBO. As a group of four who have traveled throughout the Caribbean , we agreed that the house , and Barbados are our favorite destination

Blue Marine Villa was ideal for us, like a mini resort. Terrific sea views. All bedrooms ensuite, spacious indoor and outside areas all have a feeling of being separate enough for a slight change of scenery. Pool area in the sun from early morning until it goes down with perfect sunset views. We enjoy exploring by foot and it's a short walk to the beach crossing the main road between Holetown and Speightstown. Plenty of buses going ineach direction as well as easily accessed taxis. Ju Ju's friendly beach bar just across the road for another sunset view. Excellent communication with the owners leading up to and while there. Also has responsive property manager locally. Would happily return there anytime.
