Seaspray - Beautifully appointed house, 100m to Walkerville North beach

We hope you love Seaspray as much as we do, and endeavour to provide a relaxing and comfortable stay for our guests. We live in Melbourne, but are easily contactable during your stay if needed.

Walkerville North is a very special place, surrounded by the Cape Liptrap Coastal Park and within 30 minutes of the entrance to Wilsons Promontory, which you can see across the bay from most rooms in the house.

Seaspray is only a 100m walk to the beach, which has wonderful rock pools to explore. At low tide you can walk along the beach to Walkerville South and explore the historic lime kilns and rock formations. There are many walks through the surrounding coastal park as well.

The views from the upstairs living area, bedrooms and deck across Waratah Bay to Wilsons Promontory are magical. As the property backs on to the coastal park, there is plenty of wildlife including wombats, koalas, echidnas and many birds.

Walkerville is quite remote, and the nearest towns to buy supplies are Tarwin Lower and Fish Creek (20mins drive) and Foster (30mins drive). There is a kiosk at the caravan/camping ground at Walkerville North which has some groceries and does take away food and coffee. It is open in holiday seasons and weekends.

There is no council rubbish collection at Walkerville, so you will need to take your rubbish and recycling home with you, or take it to the Walkerville tip (5 min drive). The tip is closed on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (opening times can be found online).

As Seaspray is set high on the hill overlooking the beach, the driveway is quite steep and unsuitable for cars with a very low clearance, like sports cars (I drive a Volkswagen Golf and it is fine on the driveway). There are also steps to the entrance door, so it's not suitable for wheelchair access.
