River Starnd Condo

Property was in great shape! Family room and kitchen have a beautiful lake and golf course view. Condo was well-stocked with all the basic necessities and beds were very comfortable. Jay the owner was very responsive to a few minor repairs needed and even stopped over one morning to chat. The amenities at River Strand were top notch and all professionally managed.

Great Condo

Property manager was outstanding. He was very prompt on responses/communications. This condo provides a serene atmosphere. Truly enjoyed the sunsets overlooking the waterway and golf course. My 7 month stay was very relaxing. The condo is located to all the conveniences that one would need. Anyone that gets to stay here will truly appreciate the activities and onsite comforts of tennis/golf/pickle ball/pools/tiki bar/restaurant. Jay appreciate everything your condo has to offer.Cheers

Fabulous Stay At River Strand

We had a great 2 month stay at River Strand. Jay was an excellent host & very responsive. Condo was well equipped. Beautiful lanai overlooking the Estuary golf course and large pond/lake. Birds were plentiful and we loved sitting out looking at the wildlife. Great golf (although pricey) and Pickleball. Satellite pool very close and nice. Highly recommend this lovely condo.

Ideal fĂŒr Golf

River Strand hat 3x9 gepflegte GolfplĂ€tze, im Dezember gibt es noch Teetimes nach Wunsch. Schön ist auch die grosse Poolanlage. Die Wohnung ist ok, etwas altmodisch eingerichtet, die KĂŒche mit viel zu viel unnĂŒtzen Utensilien voll gestopft. Die Fenster hĂ€tten eine grĂŒndliche Reinigung nötig.

Very Accommodating!

This is a great place and great location for a wonderful and relaxing getaway. We actually were staying there during Hurricane Ian and although we were told to evacuate, we really had nowhere to go. The unit felt so secure and we were never without services. The owner could not have been nicer to deal with and went out of his way to make sure we had a most pleasant stay. The clubhouse restaurant was an added bonus. Food was always very good, and the convenience was priceless. Looking forward to going back when time allows! We miss the warmth and sunshine.

Beautiful condo!

This condo is exactly as pictured. The property is well maintained and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and had all of the amenities we needed! The owner has thought of everything for guests staying for extended stays! He was so accommodating with our last minute reservation request.

Happy In River Side

Jay is an awesome host. Quick to respond to all your needs. The condo is beautiful and decorated very nice. Great screened in Lanai for morning coffee or afternoon drinks. Close to pools and he provides bikes and beach chairs for the beach. Plenty of closet space in both bedrooms. 3 TV's. Kitchen is well stocked for all your cooking needs. Will definitely stay here again when in Florida. The community has a great clubhouse with 2 restaurants and a great bar. The main pool has a Tiki bar which serves awesome food and drinks. The 2 gyms are big and have everything you need.

Nice condo with great view of small lake.

Well equipped unit with bikes, pickle ball set, beach chairs and cooler. Jay is an excellent host and great communicator. We really enjoyed our stay and would keep the unit in mind for future visits.

Enjoyable stay, would stay again

Very nice unit. Unit is well equipped for extended stay. Excellent WiFi. Quiet. Excellent view. Golf , pools, gyms excellent. Club house food beverage service is ok. Service poor, food excellent. FYI Not close to gulf beaches Owner Jay was very responsive. Had excellent stay

We had a great time. The condo was very beautiful.

Our host Jay Alder was great! He always checked in with us to find out if we needed anything. He made our stay very comfortable. I can't say enough about him. I would recommend anybody staying there. The up keep of the property is immaculate! Thanks Jay!

Wonderfully Perfect. Perfect place, perfect location and an amazing sunset every night!

The condo is fabulous and Jay the owner was wonderful to work with. Everything you need is at your fingertips and the view is amazing. The neighbors are friendly and the pool with Tiki bar is a load of fun!

Beautiful location, amazing host.

This property was a beautiful location to spend the winter away from the snow. We really enjoyed sitting on the lanai, watching the world go by. We had a few concerns when we arrived, but the owner, Jay, worked with us to ensure that our concerns were addressed and that we had everything we needed to make our stay wonderful. We couldn't ask for a better host.

Everything was excellent

Jay is an excellent host, he was very accommodating and flexible. His condo is very nicely furnished and clean and has an awesome view over the lake and golf course. He even provides bicycles and beach chairs which not every condo here has. The River Strand community is amazing, very peaceful with great amenities. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Jay!

Absolutely fantastic!!!

Talk about feeling like you're at home! Every comfort that you could want; unbelievable view of lake (with "Elmer" the alligator sightings) and golf course; very comfortable bed; spotlessly clean; decorator-type furnishings; TV in every room; DVD player; washer/dryer'; dining room table for 6; breakfast area table for 4; storage shed with 2 bicycles, grocery cart, and 2 beach chairs. The owner, Jay, was extremely accommodating with information and supplementing anything that the place needed. Definitely a place that we will re-visit!!!!!

Wonderful place to stay

Jay was great to work with & very accommodating/flexible with our dates. We sold our home & needed a place to stay for a couple months before our new house was built. Condo was very comfortable with gorgeous views of wildlife, lake & golf course.

Awesome vacation experience at River Strand Golf & Country Club

Over the month of December 2017 I had the opportunity at staying in Jay's condo in the River Strand Golf & Country club gated community. It was an awesome expereince and highly recommend it. Jay's place was clean, well kept, had all the items I needed, included access to the golf club and a beautiful view of the 7th fairway, plus an incredible view of a pond with tons of wildlife. As a community, River Strand was awesome!! People were very friendly, was easy to get games of golf on my own and connect with some great guys (made several new friends). The pool and tiki bar is wonderful and the actual golf course (3 different 9 holes) was sufficiently challenging. And, there is lots to do besides just golf e.g. tennis, dinning experiences, nature walks, etc. River Strand has easy access from either Tampa airport or Sarasota airport ... close to attractions, shopping, etc. All in all a great month and thanks to Jay (for hosting his condo), plus all the great staff at River Strand Golf club. Great property

Owner was most accommodating. Everything is in the unit that you could possibly need. Great furnishings and clean. View from the screened lanai is fantastic (water and golf view). Will be coming back in April for another month and hopefully again in the fall. Highly recommend this property. Golf and amenities at the club are great. Met some really great people during our stay as well. Tom & Colette

We had stayed here for 2 months while our house was being built. Jay was SO accommodating to my family. The condo was absolutely beautiful! Very clean & updated appliances with granite countertops. LOVED sitting on the lanai which over looks the lake & watching the colorful sunsets just about every night. I would give staying at Jay's condo 5 stars!!!! He definitely made it stress free while staying here while our house was being built. THANK YOU SO MUCH JAY!!!

Nicely appointed, great views.

The River Strand development is a great place to vacation. With a large swimming pool, a resistance pool and Tiki bar alongside the well equipped exercise/fitness saloon, it's a great place to work-out or relax. The pro-golf shop staff are super helpful and the 27 hole golf course is always a challenge, however often you play it. There are a number of satellite swimming pools where you can always go if you want a quieter swim as they seem to be hardly used. The apartment has great views of the lake, from the kitchen, lounge and balcony. You can watch the golfers tee off from the other side of the lake or marvel at the color of sunsets in the evenings. It is comfortable and tastefully decorated and well equipped, really wanting for nothing. We found the owner, Jay to be most considerate and helpful during our stay! You can't really go wrong staying here.

Everything Was Perfect!!

Thank you Jay for sharing your wonderful vacation home with us. The condo is stylish, immaculate and beautifully furnished. There was not a thing missing-place setting for eight, pots and pans, linens and much more. Riverstrand condo.

Had a great stay. Owner Jay is a great guy, very easy to work with. Had no problems, Riverstrand is a perfect place to spend the winter. Hope to get back there next winter.

In 2013 I came to River Strand for a vacation with a friend who is a real estate agent in Southern California. She fell in love with its beautiful facilities and resort-like life style and the next day bought two condos. At the time I lived in New Jersey recently retired from thirty years as a Broadway stage manager. In 2016 I sold my house near Princeton and moved to Cape Coral - to be near friends. All that time I had been thinking about River Strand and decided to purchase this condo. The pictures you see were taken by real estate people after renovations done by the seller. I have added amenities and accessories to make the it even more comfortable and homey. One other thing. On that trip a few years ago, I picked up a golf club for the first time after watching the game played on TV. That doesn’t look too hard, I thought. Soo, if you play the wonderful 27 holes at River Strand and run out of balls just check any deep rough - I have contributed a considerable number of balls there on subsequent visits. I look forward to meeting you and will do my best to make your stay enjoyable.

Resort hotels are great but can't compare with having a cozy home in a country club community - a home away from home - with multiple rooms, a kitchen and a veranda on which to watch the sunset. You don't pay extra for internet, it's included. You don't have to rent bikes. They're included. You don't have to pay to park. It's included. And the folks you will meet are a wonderful mix of travelers and locals who have villas or houses in River strand.
