The Space:
Enter the apartment into a tiled entrance way that leads to an open-plan kitchen/living/dining/study area, with some waist-height partitioning to delineate the spaces. The living/dining/study area is carpeted and offers a round table with three chairs (one of which is generally used for the desk in the study nook), a comfy sofa that folds out to a double bed if needed, a coffee table and a large smart TV. There is wall-mounted reverse-cycle aircon and floor-to-ceiling glass stacker doors with block-out curtains for privacy and light control. These doors take you out to a balcony with a table setting for 2 people and spectacular city views, including the Brisbane River and Botanic Gardens. Back inside the apartment, the kitchen comes with tiled flooring, a dishwasher, 4-burner gas cooktop, electric under-bench oven, a microwave and a good-sized fridge/freezer.
A sliding door opens up to the carpeted bedroom with a king-sized bed, wall-mounted smart TV, built-in mirrored wardrobes offering lots of space and a window with the same stunning views of the city and block-out curtains for sleep-ins. The apartment’s renovated bathroom has stylish tiling and a combined bath/shower with a frameless glass screen. Behind bathroom cabinetry you’ll find a Haier top loader washing machine and Fisher & Paykel dryer.

The Neighborhood:
Perfectly located in the city centre, the ‘Oaks Brisbane on Margaret Suites’ building is flanked by the picturesque Brisbane River and is walking distance to eateries, a Woolworths supermarket, the Queen Street Mall, Botanic Gardens, Museum of Brisbane, Queensland University of Technology Art Museum and the Myer store, including Event Cinemas. The Queensland Performing Arts Centre is also close by, with St Vincent’s Private Hospital and the Queensland Children’s Hospital both about 25 minutes walk away.
Getting Around:
Parking is available in the building for an extra $35 a day. If you prefer public transport, Brisbane’s CBD (Downtown) is well serviced by buses, with bus stops a short walk from the apartment building. Brisbane’s Central train station is only 11 minutes walk away.
Other Things to Note:
* Due to strict no noise no party policies in Strata buildings or local council by laws we will be enforcing the NO PARTY NO NOISE POLICY - This will mean that we will be able to force an eviction if these terms are breached. If this is the case we hold the right to hold on security deposit and booking amount for compensation for the purpose of any damage, missing keys and potential penalties from the body corporate or local government authority.
* An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.
* A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately.
*If you are eligible for a full refund as per our cancellation policy, a processing fee of $50 still applies.
*After check-in, if you choose to shorten your stay, you will receive a 50% refund of the unused nights of your booking.
