Prominence on 30A haluaa olla merkittävä osa seuraavaa lomapaikkaa! Prominence on suuri yhteisö allas, jossa on kaareva suihkulähteitä, nolla merkintä pieniä, ja rehevä palmuja, että trooppinen tuntuu. Voit vapaasti valmistaa herkullisen aterian uima-altaalla sijaitsevassa suuressa kesäkeittiössä, kun olet uima-altaan vieressä sijaitsevan ilmaisen kuntokeskuksen hikoilun jälkeen. Prominence on noin puolen kilometrin päässä rannasta, eli se sijaitsee aivan hulluuden ulkopuolella, mutta silti vielä hyvin lähellä lomastasi tärkeintä vetovoimaa. Tämä paikka on täydellinen niille, jotka haluavat rentoutua, mutta silti nauttivat lomastaan. Kun king-vuode päällikössä, queen-vuode toisessa huoneessa ja mukava vuodesohva, on tilaa koko ryhmälle!

The Big Chill was a bonus with its location and ammentities. Wish it had bikes for the four of us but me and my youngest rode the fire out of the two that was available. We always stay in this community and absolutely love it. The condo was really clean and super cute. I was a little disappointed that it was pretty basic as far as having anything extra. There were no baggies, scissors, throw blankets, anything like that. The kitchen was fully stocked as far as tools you would need or pots/pans. The other ones we have stayed in had a few coffee pods to get you started before going to the store, some beach towels, a junk drawer with basic necessities, baggies etc. There was plenty of beach items in the garage which was nice. We loved the addition of the golf cart and 2 bikes.

Great experience overall!

Overall great experience! But we did deal with an EXTREME case of fruitflies and wrote in via VRBO and did not hear back. Also, the dryer element seems to be broken and we ended up having to take home a trash bag of wet clothes that wouldn’t dry. Lastly, we would suggest maybe more than 4 rolls of toilet paper. We’re landlords too and understand the little expenses add up, but this felt like cutting corners a bit and we ended up running out of toilet paper and realizing in the moment there was no more in the entire place.

Not as described

No Golf cart, no access to beach, no hot tub at pool, no parking, you have to park at the hub and walk back to unit if you have more than 1 car. Golf cart is front and center in online photos and Marketing description... they would not give us a discount. Otherwise great unit.

Nice townhome

Unit was clean. The beds were very comfortable! I was called the day I was leaving my home and notified that the washer and dryer were not working, but a new set was going to be delivered likely during my stay. I asked if there was a daily discount since property did not have everything as described. The lady said she would ask but never got back to me. I always use the washer and dryer daily during vacation. She suggested going to laundry mat if the washer and dryer did not arrive. Extra towels were provided. The area is very nice but beach access is not close to subdivision.

Great property and great location but missed having the golf cart

To start with - the property was very clean and very nice. Great location across from the Big Chill and easy access to Alys/Rosemary Beach and Seaside. Beach access isn’t the easiest since it’s in a state park but it’s also a very short car/golf cart ride away and in the summer the beach shuttle would take care of that. Golf cart was broken during our time which is unfortunate, and we didn’t find out about that until we were at the airport on the way to Florida - the golf cart was the big reason we chose this property so that was really unfortunate. Property company did provide a small refund to compensate but it was still disappointing to not have easy use of that. Overall, we’d definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it, just wish the golf cart had been available and we’d been notified more in advance or provided a replacement.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd year coming down to 30A and staying st Prominence. We stayed in the same condo both times. The area is fantastic, clean and well located. The only downside of the property if you are not on the beach side but with the golf cart, it’s a short drive. We figured it’s worth it because our kids love the pool so much which is a big plus. The only issues we had this year were our condos dryer did not worth for the second year in a row. That’s a huge drawback as we pack for being able to do laundry. We had a service call both years and still nothing was fixed. Also the golf cart has a broken seatbelt and the turn signals so not work which isn’t safe.

Mostly great!

We enjoyed our first trip to 30A! The condo was clean and ready on time. We really liked the location, proximity to The Big Chill and the pool, and the many beach recreation things available in the garage. Our only downside was that the dryer didn’t work, which we reported. Someone texted us about it, but did not come to repair it. It was the day before we checked out and we ended up just going to the laundromat to dry our things and told them they could come once we checked out. Given the chance, they may have come that day, but it was rainy and I was eager to go ahead and pack our things. The decor feels cluttered, but that’s personal preference. All the furniture was great condition and comfortable. The kitchen is very nice and I had no problems cooking a meal. The master bathroom is spacious. Good selection of books and board games! Check in was very easy!

BUY TRIP COVERAGE IF YOU RENT HERE

If you plan to rent here...buy the trip insurance! On top of all the additional fees you better buy the insurance as well. We were scheduled to checkin 2 days prior to when Hurricane Helene hit the gulf. Surrounding areas were already being evaluated, watches and warnings were issued for the area, and the Governor had already issued a state of emergency. We reached out to the property owners the day of our checkin and requested a refund or date change, anything, for our trip and they said they were not offering any options for us at that time. They proceeded to tell us that the area was not expected to be impacted by the Hurricane...however the weather channel showed otherwise and Meteorologist's predictions can be wrong. The owners may be locals and used to storms, but we are not therefore for the safety and protection of our family and young children we felt it was best to not visit Florida during Hurricane Helene. We requested a refund or date change 2 more times from the property owner as the Hurricane approached the gulf and were declined options, therefore we lost our family vacation and the financial investment due to Hurricane Helene. This may be a great place to stay, I can't rate based on that, however it may be wise to buy that trip insurance because the property owners will NOT work with you.

Broken dryer & microwave. Poor communication

We arrived on Sunday and needed to do a load on clothes from our travels to discover the dryer was broken. We had read on prior reviews other travelers had issues with the dryer but it appeared to have been resolved. Not so. The repairman arrived on Monday morning and first was telling my husband and I we didn’t know how to work the settings after telling him numerous times we did, he finally looked into the issue and found the heating element was blown. He said he could overnight the part but it would be up to the owners. Worst case he would be beach Wednesday to fix the dryer. Meanwhile, one of my 4 children soiled their sheets Sunday night. We needed replacement sheets. We contacted the property management company 5 times about getting fresh sheets for our child to sleep on with zero response. The next day they finally responded and apologized saying there was nobody available on Monday to deliver clean sheets to our condo but clean sheets would be delivered by 5 pm. I asked again about the dryer. No response. On Wednesday I asked again about the dryer since nobody updated us as promised by the repairman. I was then told the owner decided not to repair it because it was too expensive, rather they were going to replace it and have a new one delivered. I asked when it was going to be delivered. They said they would get back to me. Thursday I asked again if it would be delivered before we left. They said they would escalate our request since we were leaving on Friday and we had many loads to do and had run out of clothes for our family of 6. I never heard another word. The microwave also stopped working. I let them know that and didn’t hear a response back from them about that either. I’m highly disappointed with this. We spent a lot of money on this vacation to have working appliances, clean sheets and for accommodations made when things are broken. We will not rent from this property or My Haven Vacation again. Really poor customer service and response rates. All about the $$$

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our rental unit was clean and spacious, and though the development was packed to the max, once inside our condo we did not hear the noise from outside. I would stay at this unit again if I were basing my decision on the quality of the unit. However, the Prominence development is crammed way too full with condos. Each building holds three units, and the adjacent structures are barely more than two arm lengths from each other. It creates crowded streets and a very crowded (though spacious and attractive!) neighborhood pool. Also, it’s a bit of a challenge to find beach access. We rode bikes to the nearest access point, but it was far enough away that walking to and from the beach wasn’t an appealing option in the summer heat. The shops across the street from Prominence were fun. I would recommend this particular unit because of how nice it was, but I would want the renter to be aware of the beach access and overcrowding issues at peak season within the development.
