Great little cottage! Quick walk to the downtown area, great eats just across the railroad tracks and a short drive to the Carter orchid and Monticello. Definitely will return!

It was a nice place to stay. We were traveling with our dog, and it was difficult to find a place for her to potty and she didn’t like the trains that ran often. But overall it was nice and comfortable. Host was nice and accommodating for an early check-in.

I'm sorry you had a hard time finding a place for your dog to go the bathroom. I usually walk my dog 20 feet to the road and she's free to go out there. I also enjoy walking down the street to the park or 50 feet up the street to the main street. Many of our guests have pets and seem to find potty spots. Best, Sarah

What a great property! The distance to the hospital was the primary reason we chose this property but the comfort of the beds, cleanliness of the entire house, and the price were the real bonus. Everything was on hand for us (laundry soap, trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, body wash) on arrival which was very thoughtful and appreciated. If we ever have to stay in Charlottesville again, we would definitely stay here especially since our host was approachable and prompt when answering us.

Location was great. Cute cottage. No bath gel nor shampoo in the unit prevents me from giving 5 stars. I also find the request to start the laundry and early checkout a negative as well.

Beth, As a property owner, and not using a management company, I always give my guests free early check in and late check out, when it is possible. You were checking out on a Friday and I had someone checking in at 3:00pm. I think 3:00pm check in and 10:00am check out is VERY standard. I am sorry I was out of bath gel, I do like to have that for my guests. Take care, Sarah

Fantastic home and stay in C'Ville. The home was as described. Very clean, rooms and beds were comfortable, great location with short walks to UVA and restaurants. Host was very responsive and provided great information. I would recommend this home and host unequivocally.

I was in town for my 35th college reunion at UVA and this location was perfect! A former classmate (and good buddy) and I needed a convenient two bedroom spot -- and this fit the bill… Extremely comfortable and convenient to grounds nd the corner with one dedicated parking spot. We used it as our launching pad each day and unwinded upon returning home each evening where we hung out telling stories and reminiscing. The accommodations were perfect and there is nothing that we felt was lacking at the location. Highly recommend!
