Casa osito has been amazing. Incredibly clean and comfortable. Steps from Santiago Park and shops. Easy walk to city center. Definitely recommend. Fantastic communication and attention from the hosts. Thank you all for an amazing experience in Merida!!

We truly enjoyed our stay at casa osito. The home is well outfitted, comfortable, private and perfect for our family of three. Property staff were very helpful, communicative and professional. Would definitely book again!

The home is well designed and appointed! The central location was terrific- we were close to Parque de Santiago and easy walking distance to Parque Santa Lucia and Plaza Grande. One of our group was ill and our hosts were very helpful with recommendations to a doctor and local clinics.

Casa Osito was beautifully decorated, well located and a little oasis in the city. The hosts were always responsive and easy to work with. I’m a stickler for cleanliness and they passed my test with flying colors. I will definitely book with Burro y Flauta again.

Hosts were extremely responsive. Bed was very comfy. Showers were huge with good pressure. Fridge was large with ice maker. Tastefully decorated. Fantastic location with easy walking access to most of the centro.

Happy to write a review here. I attended an academic conference at the Congress Centre in Merida. We stayed in this unit for a week. And it was incredible. The location was perfect. 4.00 uber ride from the conference centre (probably a 20 min walk). So if you are attending the conference centre, the location of this unit is excellent. And a 7-8 minute walk to the central area of the city. Don’t let looks deceive you. From the outside the unit doesn’t look like much…but that’s typical for the area. Things look a bit run down from the exterior. But inside it is so beautiful. Seems newly renovated. 2 huge bedrooms each with their own bathroom and huge open shower. The pool / patio as outstanding. Even a bathroom out there. This place is meticulous and more like a palace! Decorated beautifully. Air conditioning worked perfectly. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. There was even a filtered water dispenser with 2 jugs for us. The area was so safe. In fact we felt all of Merida that we visited was safe. We rented a car for 4 days…no problems driving around. Street parking (free) is available at the unit as well. And there is a laundry service right next door. 8 (cdn ) for a huge bag of clothes. So don’t overpack. A cool Mercado/market is a block away as well as a grocery store. Michael even brings the cleaners in once during your stay. Anyways, look no further and book your stay here. You won’t be disappointed.

Easy walk to restaurants, entertainment, stores etc. Property has everything you need. Kitchen is well equipped. Management was very responsive. Property is clean. Pictures are accurate. My only complaint is the key pad is finicky.

Great Location, beautiful home!

Had a great time at Casa Osito, the location is great, we felt safe day and night. Lot's of nice restaurant's nearby, we liked Manjar Blanco & Carboni! The house has everything you need, the patio is very cozy with the pool. Would stay again, communication was excellent.

Wonderful!

Casa Osito is a wonderful home away from home. The location is great and we walked everywhere. Fully equipped, very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Everyone was super helpful! Loved staying there.

Wonderful property!

This is one of the best rental experiences I've had . The owners and management was so professional and efficient in whatever was needed to make the stay extra special. The house has all the comforts and necessity to make for a comfortable vacation.

Brilliant accommodation

We really enjoyed the accommodation in Merida for its facilities and also spacious room, and of course the swimming pool. From the casa you can easily travel to the center of Merida and enjoy the activities there. The architecture is great and everything was arranged very good.

A lovely location fro exploring Merida.

We were very pleased with the style and quality of the house. Everything worked well, and we had all that we needed for our week's stay. After going into the grand plaza with its crowds and vendors, we were happy to come home to our quiet neighborhood and our "own" Parque Santiago.

Beautiful property right in down town

The home and grounds are beautiful, and due to the extremely hot weather, we weee grateful to spend a lot of time in the little pool. Would recommend.

Excellent Stay

Everything about my stay at this Burro y Flauta property was excellent, Beto (Alberto) provided amazing concierge service including numerous recommendations for day trips, food, etc. The property itself was well maintained and well stocked with all the necessities. I would gladly stay here or any other Burro y Flauta property again and will be recommending it to friends and family.
