Very nice property on a wonderful part of the Lake. Having the boat lift was especially nice. Property was very clean and communication with owner was great. Looking forward to returning next year..

The Blue Cottage was lovely. Peaceful and private. Well stocked too. Pet friendly-which was very important to me.We had a great time there. Close to everything we wanted to see.Crystal Lake was beautiful as well as the entire surrounding area.Would definitely consider returning. Have already given info on it to a couple of friends.

Having access to our own dock was amazing. The lake area in front of the cottage is shallow, so it’s great for swimming and water play. The water is refreshing and truly crystal clear. It’s beautiful. We enjoyed access to the three kayaks in particular. The hosts were very quick to respond. The cottage is small and cozy and could use a bit of an update. A screened-in porch would be a wonderful addition.

A Perfect Vacation Cottage

This was my second visit to the Little Blue Cottage and I hope there will be many, many more!!! The setting of the cottage overlooking Lake Crystal couldn’t be more peaceful and picturesque.

Perfect way to kick off summer

We had the best week at the little blue cabin. It was the perfect way to get our summer started. Lots of relaxing on the dock and beach and plenty of fires at night. The location was perfect! It had everything that we needed and we can’t wait to come back next year!

Nice Get-a-Way

Nice property. Everything you need is close by. The view is stellar, with a nice long dock. The lake is beautiful.

Perfect location

We’ve stayed at Crystal lake several times and this spot on the lake was perfect. We enjoyed the dock, used our SUPs along the shore anchoring at the sandbar. The cabin itself worked for our little family for relaxing after playing outside. It’s also in a great location for getting to the betsie trail, Beulah, benzonia and Frankfort.

Peaceful and Quiet

Wonderful cabin with great property. So much room to swim and run around. Well equiped for a fun stay. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a quiet place to escape to. I also love they allow you to bring your dog. Will book again next year!

Absolutely delightful! Cottage was charming, extremely clean and the location was perfect. Owners were very kind & very responsive! We hope to return next year.

This was the PERFECT place to stay. The beach and yard were big enough for our 3 young (6,4,2) children/dog to play. The area was really relaxing and quiet. We enjoyed that the cabin was farther back from the other houses so it felt very private. The cabin was perfect..beds and pillows were really comfortable and plenty of towels/washrags. We couldn’t have stayed anywhere better. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Amazing!

This is the second time we have stayed here and again it was amazing. We enjoyed exploring nearby and returning to relax with dinner and a fire pit. The boys enjoyed evening swims, jumping off the dock and taking out the kayaks. This cabin is quiet and clean and has every amenity needed. Hoping to come back again!

Family vacation

This property was perfect for our family. It was just as described and how others noted it had everything needed. Our boys enjoyed playing in the yard and swimming. Close to many activities. Highly recommend!

A slice of private paradise

The view is stunning, the lake is perfect & access is very private! The yard is large. So quiet, sitting on the deck we at times could not separate the sound of the wind from the sounds of the water.

So in love

We had the most needed getaway at the blue cottage. We were in town for a wedding and myself, husband and 3 kids, oh- and our dog, enjoyed this retreat so much. The kids swam a ton, even in mid -June! It is a lovely, quiet, clean and cozy place. We will for sure be back.

Little Piece of Lake Heaven!

The house and property are immaculate and unbelievably beautiful! Even better than the pictures! Adrian and Rebecca were amazing hosts, quick responses, and the binder with information was so helpful. Crystal Lake from the topic the deck is breathtaking here. We can't wait to come back :)

This is an amazing property! The view is absolutely beautiful.The inside was clean and stocked with all of the necessities. Outside was very well maintained with a wonderful beach area and fire pit for relaxing at night. We have stayed at several pet-friendly VRBO's, and this was the first one where we didn't find random piles of pet waste in the yard. The way the property is set up, and the positioning of the house, makes it seem very private, even though there are neighbors. We were looking for a place to rest and relax and this was the perfect place!

Wonderful trip

My family and I (myself, Husband, 2 kids 7&3 and our dog) had such an amazing trip at this cottage. They had everything we needed. The cottage is small and cozy and a big yard for the kids and dog to run around in. Crystal Lake is absolutely breathtaking, the water is so clear and turquoise. The super long deck with stairs was perfect for my daughter to swim off of and the kayaks and paddle boat were a great added bonus! Thanks for a great trip!

Blue Cottage

We had a wonderful time even though the weather was on the cooler side. Great location because it is so close to Frankfort and Benzonia. The 18 foot shared beach was a bit confusing because it was not clearly marked. There was food and dust under the couch and beds, also animal hair on the sheets in the lower bunk bed.

Another Great Week!

Thank you for another wonderful week at Blue Cottage! We had some iffy weather to start but made the most out of day trips to Glen Arbor, Traverse City, and Empire and then enjoyed the rest of the week on the boat when the weather warmed up. This rustic cottage might be small in size but sure packs the punch in delivering a mighty vacation week! Thanks again!!

Enjoyed this property

We had a great vacation while at this property. Crystal Lake is truly crystal clear and the home is tidy and well kept. Our family of five (three teens) and medium sized dog managed just fine even with it being as compact as it is. The large yard, beach, and long dock were also well appreciated. We played outdoors during the day and enjoyed streaming movies and shows on the TV at night. We enjoyed visiting the surrounding towns as well as the Sleeping Bear Dunes that is less than an hour away. Fishing was not as good as other lakes we have gone to, but that may have been the time of year or our amateur methods. Overall we had a great stay at this property and would recommend it to others.
