We had a wonderful stay. Even for 3 couples (with kids), the home felt very roomy and was comfortable for cooking, dining, and leisure activities. Check-in was a breeze and the owners maintained excellent communication. The icing on the cake however are the spectacular views, easy access to the White Mountainside Trail, and short drive to all that the Highlands have to offer.We Highly recommend this stay!

Everything about this property was amazing! The views are the best we’ve had in the 10 years we’ve been renting in the area. The house is laid out well, nicely appointed, has plenty of parking, and is on easily navigable paved roads. Being located within walking distance of Whiteside Mountain was a very nice bonus since public parking is always difficult at this busy trail head. The hosts were extremely communicative and responsive too. This is truly a gem of a property!

WOW. What a spectacular home. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very helpful. Beautifully decorated, very comfortable stay for 6 adults. Pictures don’t do the place justice, we would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful home! We have stayed at this property multiple times and highly recommend. Rooms are big enough to set up beds for smaller children and everything is top notch. The fireplace is wonderful in cooler weather! Owners are easy to communicate with - super nice home!

This house is fabulous, and Wendy and Ron were so easy to communicate with. We enjoyed views for miles! The bedrooms were all equipped with very comfortable beds, and the kitchen and bathrooms were full of everything you could possibly need! The house is located halfway between Highlands and Cashiers so both are easily accessible. I can’t put a strong enough recommendation on it!

Beautiful home and very comfortable w gorgeous Mountain View. Most fully equipped and usable kitchen we’ve ever experienced in a VRBO. So convenient to have the Whiteside Mountain hike just an easy walk from our front door. The wood burning fireplace in the great room was excellent but we could never get the gas fireplace on the porch fired up and this seems to be a chronic problem based on other reviews. The home has recently been upgraded and was perfect for three adult couples and would stay again for sure.

Great views!

Girls trip, wonderful house, wonderful view and wonderful location!! The house has everything you need especially kitchen!! All you need to bring is yourself and some groceries!!

Wonderful home that slept 11 of us comfortably. Superior view and great location next to Whiteside Mountain trail. Updated house that looks even better in person. We hope to return!
