La vita al coperto e all'aperto della California al suo meglio: il nostro posto dispone di un grande ponte soleggiato privato con vista sul Monte Tamalpais, ideale per cenare all'aperto e rilassarsi. La nostra casa si trova a pochi passi da negozi e ristoranti del centro, sentieri per escursioni a piedi e in bicicletta ea soli 20 minuti in auto dalla spiaggia.

La nostra casa è perfetta per coppie, famiglie con bambini (solo dagli 8 anni in su) e per gli appassionati dell'outdoor!

La nostra casa è un soleggiato e allegro 3 camere da letto, 2 bagni. È pieno di fascino e vanta una fantastica vista sul Monte Tamalpais. È dotato di uno spazio aperto e di una sala da pranzo, completo di un camino a legna, una cucina all'avanguardia recentemente rinnovata con elettrodomestici di fascia alta tra cui piano cottura a induzione Thermador, frigorifero e frullatore, doppi forni Bosch e due Fisher-Pykel cassetti per lavastoviglie.
Ci sono anche due camere da letto per bambini più un bagno al livello principale. Anche il bagno moderno e luminoso è stato ristrutturato proprio quest'anno. Ha una grande cabina doccia con soffione a pioggia e doccia a telefono.
Il soppalco della camera da letto principale si trova nello spazio attico convertito con un muro di finestre e un balcone privato di fronte al Monte Tamalpais. Ha anche un bagno privato compatto con una doccia stand-up.
La nostra parte preferita della nostra casa è la fantastica vita interna-esterna della California: l'ampio terrazzo soleggiato è perfetto per cenare all'aperto e rilassarsi e si trova proprio fuori dal soggiorno ea pochi passi dalla cucina.
Il cortile è perfetto per i bambini, completo di trampolino, fortezza e altalena. Abbiamo anche un tavolo da ping pong per alcuni tornei divertenti!
La casa si trova in una strada tranquilla, a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro con i suoi numerosi ristoranti e boutique boutique di alto livello.
Dozzine di sentieri per escursioni a piedi e in mountain bike ti aspettano proprio in fondo alla strada.

This was our second time staying at this location. It is beautiful, easy to get to from the town and the setting is perfect. The hosts think of everything, and their home is impeccable. Thank you!

Quintessential MV

This property has everything we’re looking for in a stay in Mill Valley. It’s nestled back in the majestic redwoods but moments away from downtown. The living space, kitchen & main bath are updated and modern. There is lots of natural light and outdoor space. The hosts are very accommodating- ultimately you get the sense over your stay that you’re a permanent resident (which makes departing a big let down ;-). We’ve been to a variety of MV properties and this is clearly one of our favorites - highly recommended.

Fantastic family home in a great location

My family and I just spent Thanksgiving in Mill Valley and stayed at this wonderful, warm home. There was plenty of space, the kitchen is newly remodeled and is extremely well equipped with everything you may need. The beds were all cozy and there were plenty of towels etc in the bathrooms. We spent lots of time enjoying the deck, and the fire pit is key!! It is about a 10 minute walk to town which was so nice, and the Railroad grade trail is just up the street in the other direction which made mountain biking and trail running a breeze. Susanne was lovely, communicative and very helpful. We would come back again for sure!!

Heaven in Marin

We had a magical stay in what we were calling the magical treehouse. The hosts were wonderful, the house was cozy and comfortable .. bright and sunny and everything we had hoped for. Everything we could have needed was their instructions were fantastic I just can’t say enough about this fantastic gem!

We had a great stay here. Close to highway 1 and the beaches. We went for some beautiful hikes as well in point Reyes. The night at the patio with friends was very relaxing

Felt better than home.

We wanted to spend 4 days in Mill Valley in February to unwind in a comfortable home with our two children and this house more than delivered. The home is very well kept and in a beautiful and quiet location. It was in a great spot for our day trips to downtown San Francisco, Stinson Beach and Sausalito all of which are not too far away. We also enjoyed easy access to hiking trails on Mount Tam. Mill Valley itself is very close and provides all the essentials for this type of vacation. Susanne ensured everything was very organized and made our stay easy. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

Beautiful Home in Stunning Location

My family and I rented this home for the christmas holiday, and had a wonderful time. The open plan layout of the main floor really facilities good family interaction. This was the best owner organized rental I have ever experienced. Everything worked like clockwork, and we were able to use the two car garage (parking is a problem in Mill Valley) and all of the appliances, because of the useful laminated instructions. The house was charmingly decorated on our arrival with a christmas tree and Nutcrackers on the mantle. It made us feel warm and welcome. The view of Mount Tam is wonderful, and the overall experience of staying in this home is like living in a luxurious tree house.

Review of Rental

This house is a very nice place to stay. The kitchen, living/dining room, and deck are very attractive. The views of Mt Tam are delightful. The downstairs two bedrooms and the upstairs bath are fairly basic.

beautiful house perfect spot great host

My friends and i rented Susanne and Tom's house for a holiday weekend and had the best time. the place is in a beautiful location - up some stairs to the main floor, with treetop views out to Mt Tam and walking distance to downtown Mill Valley shops. The house was comfortable with a large brand new kitchen and everything you could need. Susanne was a pleasure to communicate with; even researched restaurants to help me with (last minute) plans AND left us a lovely gift (cheers to that Susanne!) and a welcome note. i cant imagine a better experience.

Great house in a great location!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had family in town and needed additional space. The owners are great hosts and were really easy to work with on any request. Overall, a great place to stay with friends and family.

We are an active family that loves the outdoors! Our two boys are heavily involved with baseball, basketball, swim team, HipHop as well as Cub and Boy Scouts. We love to run and mountain bike on the many trails on Mount Tam, hit the local beaches to surf, boogie board or standup-paddle-baord. But we like to just relax and catch up with friends and neighbors with a glass of wine and dinner on our deck.
We love traveling, locally in Marin, within California, within the U.S. and overseas to visit family and friends in Germany and explore the countryside and cities such as Berlin and Munich etc.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

Nature abound within just a few steps from this property! There is tons of hiking, mountain biking, road biking just up the street from our home. And local beaches are just 20 minutes away.
In addition to enjoying local happenings in Mill Valley, we also love to head out to the Wine Country, just 20 minutes up the road. Or head up to Tahoe for a long weekend or down the coast to San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay. So much to do, so little time...

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

Our home features wonderful outdoor spaces such as a large deck with terrific views of Mount Tam complete with cozy lounge seating around a gas fire pit, a large dining table and a covered porch. Our yard has a 14' trampoline, a swing-set, a fort and a ping pong table.
