We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage! The host is absolutely amazing, thoughtful, and goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The cottage is stocked with so many extra little touches in case you forget something at home, including doggy dishes, a vanity mirror, makeup wipes, and so much more. These thoughtful details really make a difference! The location is also fantastic, just a short distance from the beach. We truly appreciated the hospitality and all the little extras that made our stay so comfortable. We would definitely recommend this cottage and would love to stay here again!

Very nice little cottage perfect for a couple and a dog. Clean and has everything needed in the kitchen. Easy walk into town and to the pier.

We love Cayucos, and our recent stay was a delight. This is a charming and comfortable property with a perfect location for enjoying the beach and exploring the central coast. The place was spotless, and Carol is an attentive and kind host. I would highly recommend this little dog friendly cottage for all who appreciate the beauty of California.

Perfect in every way. Carol provided Everything we could possibly need for our dogs; toys, towel, shaded kennel, doggie bags.. the beach is literally 2 blocks away, great quiet neighborhood and exactly as described . We will definitely be back again.

Perfect little bungalow for 2 people and the Standard Poodle we are raising for Guide Dogs of The Desert. The neighborhood is very quiet, friendly and walkable. You can hear the ocean from the cottage and beach access is just a few houses away. There are stairs down to the beach but if you need flat entry access it's only a couple minutes drive either direction. The bed was extremely comfortable as was the couch. Nice water pressure in the shower. Very well stocked clean kitchen. The instructions we received prior to arrival were very thorough and appreciated as they keep the cottage in good condition for future guests. The front home was occupied by a nice family but we still had privacy. Communication before, during and after our stay was excellent. Thank you Carol for making this property available! We will return.

Thank you Carole for renting us your wonderful cottage in Cayucos. My husband and two small dogs were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The cottage is cosy and is steps away from the ocean. The beach is dog friendly, the neighbourhood is quiet and the people are friendly. The cottage is close to other towns south along the coast and Paso Robles so we had lots to do, and many great restaurants to choose from. Carole was quick to respond to a question I had. We would definitely come back here again.

The only issue was we could only book 3 night this trip. We explored Morro Bay and cruised the Central Coast Line. Our host Carol is terrific and made our stay memorable. Can wait for our trip to The Cottage.

March 19-26, 2026The cottage is so cute, clean and comfy. Tucked behind the main house it feels very private. The description and photos are accurate. The host went above and beyond with her communication and replies to our questions. The kitchen is perfect and has everything you need. We were very comfortable and highly recommend!

This is a lovely, comfortable cottage that provided me with space to relax and rest. It is completely furnished with all cooking needs, a large bathroom, and a very comfy bed. It is only steps away from beach access and is less than a mile from town center and restaurants. I loved my time here!

nice quite place, small but comfortable. Ants are inevitable so follow instructions to keep the counters clear of crumbs. Carol is explicit on details and care. We would stay again, no problem.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and discovered a few new restaurants with Taco Temple now one of our favorites for their huge servings and good prices.
